Untrusted connection Error when using google search field in top line. Ok with other search engines

When opening www.google.dk and searching from the page, everything is ok
When using Google search engine in the address line search bar the error is present
When changing to Yahoo, bing or another search engine in the search bar, the error is not present
So, the error
"www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)"
is only present when using google search engine in the search bar
Have tried to delete the files cert8.db and key3.db with no success
Read about firewall settings, but Bullguard firewall was not covered

In your "More system details" it says your address bar search provider is Babylon, not Google. Perhaps that's the problem? Or are you using a shortcut to force the address bar search to Google?

That might not stick if you have an add-on which reverts the setting. You can disable nonessential and unrecognized extensions here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
Also, you might need to edit or delete your user.js file to prevent your settings from being overridden at the next startup. This article has info on that: [[How to fix preferences that won't save]].

FTPs connection error:When using Variable substitution for Directory path

I am transferring data from BI to xml file via PI: Here a Client proxy from BI sends the data to PI and the PI FTPs the XML file to a remote location. For FTP I am using FTPs SSL connection.
It was working fine untill I used Variable susbstitution to determine Directory path dynamically. I am using this because different xml files are intended to goto the different locations.
I did the variable substitution like this:
Target Message Structure:

I guess the problem is not with Variable Substitution..
Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool:
So its a connection problem..
Also check the option Disable Security check and try again...
Try to check again if the interface is executing properly without Variable substitution and let us know..

Connection error when using automatic logon option in connection wizard

Hi,
When using the automatic logon option in the connection wizard there is an error that say that the connection cannot be established. If I use the option to type in my credentials then it works fine.
The user has access privileges in SAP BPC.
Any suggestions?

I'm asking because it is strange that Windows authentication is not working. It can be or bvecause Windows user is not the same with BPC user. (you can have the same name for user but actually one is local the other one is domain which means different users).
Also I tsuggest to check into application server of test and prod environment f osoft virtual directory has enable Windows Authentication.

Getting error when using the "/parameter" switch in command line run

Has anyone experienced this problem before?
My report queries over 100,000 records from a view. When the report is run from the command line every thing works fine.
But when I add a condition using a "parameter", although the report still runs fine from the destop, when launched from the command line it errs.
"Oracle Discoverer Desktop has encountered a problem and needs to close. ..."
"The instruction at "0x0044397c" referenced memory at "0x0000004e". The memory cound not be "read"...."
I'm guessing its a memory issue with my PC. I've tested using a parameter with other reports using fewer records and it doesn't err from the command line.
I can work around the issue by not using a parameter but then I have 20 versions of the same report each with a different condition.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm using an DELL Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. We use Microsoft Windows XP Prof version 2002.
As for Discoverer we are using 10G, Desktop Client 10.1.2.48.18 - 1047500 KB available memory , 2099744 KB Free disk space.
I'm not sure I have acess to a computer with more RAM but I'm looking into it.
What I'm frustrated by is the fact that the parameter works fine when run directly from the desktop but when passed from the command line it bombs... but only when dealing with mega records.

Document Splitting Error when using "Difference Posting" field in F-28/F-32

We use the "difference postings" field to post unapplied cash when we receive customer payments. We can normally post this without issue, but occassionally we get the "Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 002 not filled" message. This only happens when applying cash to a large count of open invoices (to clear or to partially pay) and have a balance that will not be applied to a known invoice.
I have looked extensively for configuration issues and I must be missing something.

The difference postings and partial payments post to document type DZ which is configured properly.
The config is set for PC splitting.
While I have some cash gl accounts defaulted to a PC, I am trying to avoid defaulting the reconcilliation accounts to a PC at this point. I will only do that if there is no other solution to this issue. But that is a suggestion that I am fairly positive would work.

Error when using VML functions of Intel MKL v9.0 with LabVIEW 8.2.1

I have created a DLL in Visual Studio 2005 which uses functions from the Intel Math Kernel Library (MKL) v9.0. The DLL works perfectly when I run it in VS 2005, but when I use it in the LabVIEW environment, I receive the error 1097 [An exception occurred within the external code called by a Call Library Function Node.].
It seems that the VML function vdPowX(), which raises each element of a vector
to the constant power, creates an access violation reading at location 0x00000000.
Unhandled exception at 0x0652d545 (OptimisationDLL_Intel.dll) in LabVIEW.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000.
When I trace it with VS2005, it seems to read at 0x00 when they check for the mode of the function (HA or LA) to see if the function will uses High Accuracy or Low Accuracy. You can reproduce the bug by simply trying to read the Mode with the Intel Function vmlGetMode().
I'm not sure why I only get the crash in LabVIEW and not in VS2005. The other function from the MKL that I use, daSum(), works correctly in VS2005 and LabVIEW. It doesn't have an accuracy mode since it's not in the VML family, that's probably why.
I've included the source code in C that causes the crash when the DLL is used in LabVIEW (Corellation_Intel.c).
When you attach the LabVIEW process to Visual Studio Debug mode, the execution stops at eax,dword ptr [edx+ecx*4]:

While more details are desirable to give precise answer I guess that I know the origins of the problem. VML functions are thread-safe. VML engineers use Mircosoft TLS mechanism to maintain thread safety of VML global variables. The TLS use is different for static and dynamic case. This implies that it is impossible to use MKL static library which contains TLS stuff to build dynamic library. Indeed, your DllMain function must have VML TLS initialization/processing/finalization stuff (for details see http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms686997.aspx). In case VML TLS stuff is absent in your DllMain routine you will see Access Violation on any attempt to access VML global variables.
VML engeneers are seeking for possible solutions/workarounds. Thus far they don't see any elegant way of solving this with existing technologies. Specifically, _mkl_vml_core_w7_vml_GetMode routine does access one of VML global variables.
There is a possibility to build custom VML DLL from static MKL library using MKL Builder Tool. The limitation is that the built DLL cannot contain non-MKL stuff (recalling DllMain issue, MKL Builder Tool cannot put into DllMain routine user's stuff).

How can I prevent a "Thread registered implicitly" error when using dlopen on a library that is built with a 3rd party library provided by FTDI?

After updating to Firefox 33.0.3 why am I getting Untrusted Connection Errors with Yahoo and Amazon?

I have updated to Firefox 33.0.3 and now I am getting untrusted connection errors when trying to go to Yahoo.com and Amazon.com this happens with both http and https. My time is in sync. I tried deleting the cert8.db file.
I have looked at other solutions and they have not worked. These sites were working fine on the previous version for me but now with this new update they are not working. Why hasn't Mozilla fixed this already?

I have been getting a "Untrusted Connection" error on Firefox randomly for the past 4 weeks, what could be causing it?

For the past about 4 weeks I've have been randomly getting an untrusted connection error whenever i try to search something on google.com or using the google search bar. It will happen for about 5-10 mins then will go away. This will happen across 3 different computers (both mac and pc) and will also happen on Chrome, sometimes at the same time sometimes different times. I've searched around and tried pretty much everything i can think of. The date/time is correct on all computers, cache has been cleared, everythings up to date, contacted the ISP and the router companies and they say its not them so i'm at a complete loss.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated!

Did you check the issuer of the certificate and other details?
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
*Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".
*Click the "View..." button and inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer of the certificate.
You can see more Details like intermediate certificates that are used in the Details pane.
If "I Understand the Risks" is missing then this page may be opened in an (i)frame and in that case try the right-click context menu and use "This Frame: Open Frame in New Tab".
*Note that it is not recommended to add a permanent exception in cases like this, so only use it to inspect the certificate.

Why am I getting a "connection error" when trying to buy a paid app in the Mac App Store?

Okay, so I am currently running OS X Mountain Lion on a brand new Macbook Pro 15 inch (early 2013). I haven't had any problems so far. However, today I tried buying a $10 app in the app store, and when I put in my login credentials to validate the purchase, it showed a loading wheel for about five minutes, then showed in red text, "Connection Error," just below the login fields. I've researched this issue and found it to be a bug in Lion... but no solutions for Mountain Lion. Any ideas?

Error when using PPR in the OA page developed.

We are encountering an error when using PPR for the custom OA page being developed. I am using JDeveloper version 9.0.3.5(Build 1437) and Oracle Applications version 11.5.10.CU2. The scenario we are using PPR and the steps to reproduce the issue is mentioned below,
Scenario:
1) PPR is enabled for a custom OA page that is developed.
2) The PPR is being used to enable or disable a particular field based on the
selection of a value in a poplist in the same OA Page.
Error replication steps:
1) The user enters a value in the primary mandatory field which has to have
unique value.
2) The user selects a value from the poplist of a field which has PPR associated.
3) The user enters data in all other mandatory fields in the OA page except one
and tries to save the form and is shown a error message saying that all
mandatory fields are not entered(This is correct). Now the page gets
automatically refreshed and so the entered values are wiped off.
4) Now if the user again enters a value in the primary mandatory field (as in
step1) and if that value happens to be already existing value and then select
a value from the poplist which has PPR enabled then immediately the error
"Please enter a unique value" is entered, though we did not save the record.
The unique record validation would happen only at the time of saving the
record as per out business logic.
5) But if in Step 4 if i had entered a unique value again then the above said error
does not happen. There are few more similar kind of issues happening in the
same page because PPR is enabled.
Please note that this issue happens only when the page is deployed in a oracle
applications instance and not in JDeveloper.
Would this issue because of some cacheing problem? If Yes then how do we resolve it? Or would it be some other problem caused by our internal coding.
Any inputs for resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.

What works in Jdeveloper should work when deployed in iAS as well.
And PPR is an old feature given quite enough time to mature, so before we suspect OA we should investigate the code. What I do not understand is how the page refreshes in Step 3 and why does the user have to re-enter the fields just because he missed entering one mandatory field the last time.
Mandatory field validations are client validations set by making the fields 'Required'. You obviously have client validations turned off on your PPR, otherwise you would be stuck with a javascript popup on PPR. The only way you can get the "Please enter unique..." error on PPR is Server Validation. So where have you placed this validation? If it is not in the EO, is it in the AM? And are you unconditionally calling the AM validation method in your processFormRequest? The PPR will also go through processFormRequest so I hope the PPR event is in a different if-else block.
