Untrusted Connection on https if you have Kaspersky

I have recently had the dreaded "This connection is untrusted" message and then it got worse by not offering me the opportunity to go to the site, regardless. This got worse and worse, until finally I couldn't go to any https:// site whatsoever, including mail.yahoo.com, duckduckgo.com, etc.
I read all of the links and did all of the searches. I synchronized my time and date. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I back-dated firefox to version 13. I beta-updated to 32 (or whatever the most recent beta release is). I went into about:config and changed everything even remotely possible. I did the options route and removed all custom exceptions. I added additional exceptions. I tried safe mode. I tried disabling all plugins and add-ons manually.
Finally, I found the solution that worked for me. I have Kaspersky Internet Security on my machine. At some point, I must have enabled Kaspersky to check all https connections.
Goto to Kaspersky Internet Security.
Click on Settings, Additional, Network settings, DE-select "Scan Encrypted Connections."
Everything is now back to normal. If you're using Kaspersky Internet Security (I have build 14.0.0.4651(h)) and you are having this annoying problem, try this fix. Sorry I couldn't reply to other threads where this problem was posted, because I didn't have an account, and you can't sign up to answer, only to ask. Therefore, I'm "asking" the solution I found to this problem.

Hi I'm Zeina Halim. I have an iPad 4 and I forgot its password. So I kept trying over and over again till it said iPad is disabled connect to iTunes. One problem I've never synced my iPad and apple is telling me the only way to reset the password is to erase all data from the iPad. So I'm asking is there another solution or can I atleast import the photos on some device before I erase it. Pls answer fast because I REALLY need to use it. Thank you

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

How to get connect with Apple when you have problem in test device limits?

I have reached my test device limit in August. I have popular app that is very sensitive of being tested super carefully (navigation app for the blind, testers from 20+ countries), so 100 device limit is easily reached. Basically, I can't ship any new versions due to fact that I can't guarantee safety of my users.
I sent first request how to handle this to Apple in August. Since then I have sent at least 3 new requests. 2 times some person has responded suggesting adding 10 new devices or asking me to delete unneeded away and then list gets reseted after 7 days. I answered "yes please do that" and cleaned the list. Still after several months, I have situation that my device list shows "100 of 100 available devices have been registered." and adding new devices is disabled.
I had read that this list can be reseted when I renew my dev membership. I did that one month in advance to see if it helps. It didn't and even when old one expired, it didn't help. Maybe I have missed some step, but for that reason I have tried to reach Apple Support. My two latest contacts to Membeship support has this same information about my problem (of problems getting support) and also short description about original problem.
Have any of you had same kind of problem with Membership Support? When I have contacted Developer support, I have got excellent service.
How should I continue? Start trying to make phone calls instead of using official contact forms?

Your problem _is_ the device limit...you repeated your issue, so I'll repeat the quote from Apple:
Although you may remove a device from your account, it will continue to count against your 100 device limit.

Try disabling or uninstalling it temporarily to see if that clears it up. If that fixes it, you'll either need to talk to the vendor or find another antivirus solution.

AFAIK it's arround (total connections):
- <5 for RTC
- <100 for slow ADSL
- <500 for medium ADSL
- ~1000 for high-speed ADSL (and max on Windows lol) ; went up to over 1500, without positive change.
I use rtorrent & have a limit of <100 connections per torrent (4 leechers max per torrent so they get something)

Disabling untrusted connection warning, or adding issuer without certificate?

I am using Firefox (20) in an environment where I am required to use a proxy to access any external websites, and the proxy has recently been changed in such a manner that it now intercepts HTTPS requests and seems to reissue the certificates from a new identity.
This means that every page I visit that uses HTTPS shows the 'untrusted connection' warning page. I can, of course, add exceptions - but I don't want to have to do this for every secure page (and every subdomain, including those only used for serving up images or stylesheets, etc).
Is there any way to.. disable the warning page? Add an exception for "*"? Add the identity that the certificates are being reissued under to my trusted list (I don't have access to the certificate file)?
Neither Chrome or IE exhibit this behaviour under the same conditions.
NB: Troubleshooting info attached is from a different computer.

You will have to acquire the root certificate of this proxy and install it in Firefox to prevent such an untrusted message.<br />
If you have this certificate in IE or Google Chrome then export it and import in Firefox.<br />
You can inspect the certificate chain in those browser to see how they link it to a built-in root certificate.<br />
You need to set the trust bit to trust this certificate for web pages.

Does your iPod see the network that you are trying to connect to? Do you have the white bars indicating that it sees a WiFi network?
If so, the first thing you can try is to reboot your router. Unplug it from the power source and then plug it back in and try to connect again.
Try turning WiFi off and then on again. Restart your iPod as well.

Doublechecking before proceeding. Do you have Kaspersky security software installed on the PC? (There's been a couple of reports of this in recent times being associated with Kaspersky interfering with the installs.)

Sorry, not sure what you mean by remotely?
You can remove apps from your phone without being connected to anything if you have the phone in hand. Were you speaking about something else?
If not, then you just press on an app on the Home screen and hold it down until they all begin to wiggle. Apps that you can remove (non-Apple apps) have a little "x" in the top left-hand corner. Tap on that, and the app will be removed.

The reply below was in response to the same problem I'm having. My phone isn't video capable so I got the message to go to vzwpix.com but I'm directed to the main VerizonWireless site. From there I sign in and go to Picture & Video Messaging and I do as posted but there are no messages, in fact there is no InBox. There are only Drafts and Sent folders. When I click on Messages there is nothing. When I click on the InBox tab (under the Messaging tab at the top of the page) I get a notice that I need to Sync and Connect but I don't have email accounts with either of the 4 listed. Is this why I can't access the video, because I can't complete the Sync and Connect??

Try following these steps and let me know if this works or if this is exactly what you've tried already:
If you've received PIX/FLIX Message; go to www.verizonwireless.com/picture from any computer with internet access and follow the instructions. Access the URL web address via your PC to view the picture/video message. If you're a first time Pix Place user the received message(s)can be found under the left menu Navigation under Messages > then Inbox. These are temporary in nature and are only available for seven days after receipt. You can move these messages to a permanent gallery and either go against the free 75 message storage or just be stored, if you’re signed up for unlimited storage.

Hi, I have a problem that is seriously killing me at the moment... The 'untrusted connection' comes up for me on EVERY https website! even writing this question

I get the 'Untrusted Connection' on every single website that uses https.... EVERY ONE! I even had to add an exception to here, once I add the conception, it turns off all styles of the page.... so that counts out being able to use things such as gmail or facebook.
I am tired of having to use Chrome as it crashes every other page, adobe flash seems to have stopped working on IE9, and I would rather not use the internet if I have to browse on safari.
What can I do, I have found an extension that says it will work but it wont on my version (the most recent) of firefox... I have tried checking my SYSDATE.. but it is exactly correct!

Did you make sure that your firewall isn't intercepting secure connections and sends it own certificate instead?
