Unusual BT Infinity problem shows the lack of any ...

I have had a problem with my BT Infinity line for almost 6 weeks now. The speed test is fine, but web pages fail to open. Not a simple problem and the technical help desk first replaced the home hub and then rather rudely told me it was my device. This was clearly not the case since it was replicated on 3 computers and an iPhone which all performed well on other networks. After threatening to cancel my account I finally spoke to someone in the UK who agreed to send an engineer out. He arrived, verified the problem with his own laptop, changed all the hardware and then finished his shift and left the job incomplete. This visit was when I learned the difference between Openreach and BT.
I then had to get another engineer out to do a "lift and shift" which failed to solve the problem. He then tried to get further help from a BT advisor but got no help and left again without solving the problem. The engineers did tell me one of their colleagues had seen a similar problem that was due to system settings and a failure of the BT equipment to handshake with the Openreach lines. Apparently this had only been solved by closing the BT account and opening a new one and setting everything up from scratch. It scares me to think of the implications of doing this, since BT as a "service" provider seem incapable of doing anything in a joined up manner
Probably like everyone on this forum I have a specific problem which probably represents less than 1% of all the complaints that BT get. Why do BT not have a team of customer care advisers to whom such problems could be escalated? That person would then provide a single point of contact, responsible for knowledge of the problem, monitoring progress and ensuring a satisfactory outcome. It seems so obvious and would go a long way to restoring some service reputation.
I am still communicating through the Indian call centre who everytime ask me to describe the same problem. Unfortunately, it seems like I need to get the line sorted out before moving to another service provider.

Are you sure it's not just a DNS issue?

Have you tried using the iPod with another user account or computer, to help narrow down whether the problem lies with the computer, account, or the iPod itself?
Maybe try reformatting it, using the tools provided by Windows. Instructions on how to reformat your iPod can be found in this article.

If you look at the top left of your screen you will either see a 3G (or 4G if you have AT&T) or you will see the wi-fi symbol. If you don't see the wi-fi symbol you are connecting to Gmail through your cellular data plan, not via wi-fi.
To answer your question, it doesn't happen often but when it does the steps I mentioned above will normally resolve it. Hopefully you won't have any further problem with this.

Problem showing the crystal report viewer in form after added the component on it

I have a problem running a program. I created a form which I added the component Crystal Report Viewer perfecty but during program execution when I call that form my VS 2012 Ultimate show the following error:

Note: If I remove the component from the form. the applications runs fine when calling the form without the component CrystalReportViewer

Problem showing the selected node element in Adobe Forms

Hi,
I have a Webdynpro Application with a 0..n cardinality node. The requirement is when the user selects one element of the node in my WD app, the data of the selected node element has to be shown in my Adobe Form. Now the form is showing the first element of the node. How can I achieve this?

BT Infinity ..or the lack of

I need some help, because I am getting nowhere with BT customer services, i had BT Infinity installed in my flat on 5th september, it wokred for 3 hours and since then I have nothing. BT had promised to send out engineers...5 of them who have never turned up. I managed to speak to a girl who said she was appalled at the way my account looked and the lack of help i had been given. It is now 22nd september and still i have no infinity and I have been told and in not so nice a way that If i want to cancel my fabulous infinity I will have to pay £350.00 charges because....I AM IN BREACH OF CONTRACT! I have now decided to take legal advice on this because it seems BT don't really care, all they want is to take your money and then ignore you then after, My friends and family are now leaving BT because of the way I have been treated..All I want is infinity...which is what I am being currently charged for....
Very stressed right now ...is there anyone who is willing to at least listen and help me?

REALLY?? REALLY???? FDR-X1000V and the lack of any updates from Sony or even hints.....

Sony.. WTF? You there? I guess you don't care about your 4K Action Cam models. I wanted to care. I wanted to love the new FDR-X1000V. But... I can't.... I am most likely going to sell my FDR-X1000V at a major $200 loss because... well... there are no firmware updates in the making.. sony doesn't care about us and they are basically making another Discman and no MP3 support.. yea we know how that went.. Discman what? yup... sony.. pull your f#@$#ing head out your ****** and make a group that works with us camera owners to get udpates in your firmware or ******.. give us a dev kit where we can try adding our own features or expanding on the feature set. Why the ****** can't i do a 4k timelapse on my 4K action cam? GoPro's can... so yea.. i wanted to move away from GoPro but.. your 4K cam just made me want to run back to them... ****** off and i hope your action cam dept FAILS... i'm done w/sony action cams forever... and everyone i know will hear about this.

So.. prior to this FDR-X1000V, i had been a hardcore GoPro guy.. sure, they had a few issues initially but GoPro was quick to update the firmware to fix battery drain problems, video quality and also add more features that we found useful. I really had loved what Sony seemed to be doing on the action cam front w/the previous AS series. At CES 2015 i saw news about the FDR-X1000V being released that could do 4K resolutions. I already had a GoPro Hero 3+ Black Ed but really liked the video stabilization features and the way better stereo audio. It is now about 2 months in and i'm selling my camera on ebay at a major loss beause i'm just annoyed w/the lack of forethrought into the planning and execution of this camera and it's features. OK Sony R&D; this is a free $50K consultation for free because you are going to lose this market even more as 2015 continues and you fail to connect with your hardcore action cam owners and fail to address our concerns/feature requests. 1. Power on and off via remote should have been implemented the moment this camera was even thought of. There is no way to power on the camera w/o pushing a button on the physical camera. Try doing that when you have it mounted on your car's bumper going 70mph a freeway. GoPro can power on camera via phone app and the remote. ALSO, this lack of a feature SHOULD BE MENTIONED ON THE REMOTE'S PACKAGING.. i assumed it would let me turn on / off the camera.. since well the gopro remote did... 2. Menus... have you ever tried using the menu system on the camera? first off, if i go to settings on a camera and make one change, I DON'T WANT TO BE TAKEN OUT OF THE MENU after i make a change. If i'm in the settings area, i'm probably making two or three relative changes. the liveview remote makes this much easier but man... horrible! 2b. Power Off option?? umm, how about holding down the PREV button to power off camera vs hitting Prev several times until you see PWR OFF on the lcd and then hitting Record to select. wow.. so cumbersome.... 3. Timelapses.. why aren't we allowed to take timelapses at the full camera resolution vs 1080P video clips made into jpgs? this lack of a feature is the MAIN reason i'm going back to gopro. I do tons of timelapses and the quality of my timelapses w/the Sony are so much lesser. 4. SPOT metering.. ever hear of this? or how about more manual controls for light exposure.. did anyone at sony take this camera and mount it in a car and do a POV video on a sunny day? probably not.. yea, you can't see a thing through the windshield, just the car's interior. 5. WAY MORE MANUAL CONTROLS!!! i'd love to try to leave the shutter open for 2 - 3 secs at night to get star/night sky timelapses.. nope.. 6. Finally.. listen to us users... we are your beta testers and power users; we use your products in ways you obviously have never. the action camera is a big product sect going forward and it's still pretty early w/two main competitors.. well.. actually really just one main and let's just say it isn't you... This is your mp3 player/discman move all over again if you don't listen.. i've been a sony owner/fanboy since the 80s but you've lost me as a loyal customer and user on the actioncam sect. and trust me.. when my pals ask me what action cam to get... the name may start w/a G and not an S...

Problems installing the Cloud. Any idea?

This is the end of the road. I've tried at least 5 times.
I had no problems with the Cloud before, it worked wondrously well.
My problem had the name Acrobat XI, there was an error when it was installed, I couldn't deinstall it. Adobe helped deinstall it by mailing me a Cleaner for windows. Great! This did it! Acrobat was uninstalled.
Unfortunately it turned out as some hot adventure: My computer collapsed. Must have been Acronis? I had probems with it before, wiped it quickly from the plate. Windows started CHDSK. after some time it looked good. But now I can't download the Creative Cloud! In the middle of the process it stops saying 'There's another process.' Yet I must have a window open to be in touch with the internet, no?
I hope you experts have another good idea! On top of everything my Outlook was damaged, all the mails gone. But your names were K_Glad and Domenico? thank you so much!

You should be using 10.2.0.3 of the Instant Client.

Are you asking
a. How to install Instant Client ?
or
b. How to configure the tnsnames.ora and TNS_ADMIN ?
or
c. What should be added to the user's Windows environment (ORACLE_HOME, additions to the Path etc ?)
Do NOT install the Instant Client into an existing ORACLE_HOME.

SL3100 Pairing problem and the lack of intelligent reply from creative

I posted a message a day or two ago about having trouble pairing my SL300 with its own adapter. This was a brand new out of the box unit. Since the unit was new I thought I'd ask Creative to assist and wrote to their tech support, who returned with following response. In my opinion this response shows a total lack of product knowledge or any concern whatever that one of their OWN products does not work. Here is the response I received when I could not pair THEIR ADAPTER with THEIR HEADSET? both of which came in a sealed box from THEM?I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. However, let me try my best to help you out in resolving this issue.
To assist you on this, you may want to try on the following
troubleshooting tips and see if they could help:
1. Try unpairing the headset. A headset can only be paired to one device at a time.
2. Recharge the headset and try pairing the headset once more. A headset will not automatically pair with the device again when powered on.
3. Check that the device being paired to the headset has its Bluetooth feature(s) turned on.
4. Ensure the headset is turned on and the battery is fully charged.
5. Ensure the headset is within one meter of the device while pairing.
6. Remove and replace the device's battery (if the device has a replaceable battery) and try pairing the device and the headset again.
7. If prompted by the device for a passkey, enter 0000.
8. Make sure the Bluetooth headset and the device are both running compatible protocols.
9. Make sure the Bluetooth headset and the device are both running compatible protocols.
10. Make sure there are no obstructions between the device and the headset when pairing.
11. Make sure the pairing is being initiated on the headset, not the device the headset is being connected to.
If the issue would still persist, the product may need to be repaired/replaced.
The problem you described indicates your unit may require repair or replacement. If possible, try exchanging the product for another from the vendor, for this may be much quicker and easier than having an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued. If this is not possible, an RMA will need to be arranged to have your product tested for repair/replacement.
If the product has exceeded its one year warranty period, an out-of-warranty RMA will need to be issued. This type of RMA requires a non-refundable US $25.00 diagnostics and handling fee for each out-of-warranty product. The fee is applied toward the complete cost of repair/replacement. If the cost of the repair/replacement exceeds the initial diagnostic fee, the RMA department will contact you to obtain your authorization for finance of the remaining fee. If the product has not exceeded its warranty, no diagnostic fee is required.

It is pretty standard practice for you to get a more general response first time as it eliminates most users problems. And, unless you doing the pairing incorrectly, it seems the email does suggest an answer (its faulty) and recommends replacement.
I would assume the problem is its broke too, so just try to return it to the shop you got it from.

That would not work...
What you have to do is save the uploaded file content on to a location and then pass the fileName as a request parameter to a deidicated which displays the contents of that file.

Mine's fine.
Do the basic troubleshooting steps: restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. If those don't work, bring the phone to Apple for replacement. And if you put a screen protector on, take it off and see if that solves the problem.

Flex 4 Video player not showing the video in any other machines

I created a new Flex 4 project, and used Video display component and source was set to a file in src folder. It works fine in my computer. But after moving the content from bin-release to another machine, video is not showing.
The flv file is in the bin-release folder.

Scripts folder is in the site root folder, and all your other
files are in
the special folder. Might be something wonky there.
If you are on a Linux server, you might double check the
upper * lower case
matching between your links and file/folder names.
