UNUSUAL iTunes 7 Error while Adding Music Folder

It's seems fairly simple, I am suprised thousands of others have not had this same problem. After I installed iTunes 7 I was adding a music folder (containing 4000+ songs) that is on an external HD...so,
1) iTunes notes that I have .wma files in the folder
2) I click either skip or convert, it doesn't matter
3) iTunes promptly has an error and closes.
However, if I use Windows search and exclusively find *.mp3 files, I can add thousands of them at a time without a problem. I would just let it be except I want my .wma's converted and there are multiple video files also in this folder that I don't want to have to find individually.
This error has occurred again and again regardless of restarting the program or the system.

Due to some kind of copy protection in iTunes - I don't copy directly from this in iMovie
to my projects. (Most often the result of doing it in iMovie is a DVD without any sound)
I do
• In iTunes - collect needed audio into a new Playlist
• then burn this out as an Audio-CD .aiff (NOT .mp3)
• This CD I copy into a folder on my Mac (often containing other material that's connected to the project)
• And then I drag and drop these .aiff files into my movie project in iMovie.
This works Greatly and even more so when I do my DVD.

This is a known issue.
To get around this I created a folder that I put songs into when I want to import more than 1. Then I have iTunes import the songs. Then I empty the import folder to get ready for next time.

Error while adding music movie

I imported new music videos in iTunes. However, when I tried to add videos on my iPod, it says this was not copied to iPod because it cannot be played on this iPod. I have an new iPod Nano. and I converted videos to mov file. I dont know what else should I do. I usually get this error message; however, sometimes i did not get that...

I have this sound problem after reorganising folders by itunes, i tried to delete al files in itunes and also
deleted the xml file in the itunes dir, created new playlists, but still i have no music sound in imovie timeline
after dragging a mp3 into it. When i preview the file in imovie it souds ok.
Also i see the red dot with the number 1 in the itunes logo while dragging the mp3.
Is there a solution for this problem?

I'm having the exact same issue, but still haven't figured out what it is. I note that at the top of this thread it indicates that there are two "helpful" entries and one "solved" entry, but I can't find the solved one, so maybe someone will repost it here or kindly link to it.
There is one icon missing though.
As I read through the excellent tutorial at http://www.kenstone.net/fcphomepage/imovie_09stone.html I scroll down to the point where he talks about dragging music in from iTunes, which is what I'm trying to do. I can see, in his screen shot, the extra little icon that is a red oval and a white "1" in it. I don't get that icon when I am trying to drag my music into the video. I do get the green and white plus icon when I try to drag my music in. Also I DO get BOTH the red 1 and the green plus when I try dragging in a sound effect, which I can do with no problem. But why not the music?
I've been able to drag in music with no problem in other productions, so I can't figure out what is going on with this one. I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that got flipped, but I can't figure out where.
In desperation I also tried adding an extra title slide at the end of my video just to make sure there is more video time than music time in the production, but that didn't help at all.
Any help guys?

what is causing itunes to delete original music folder from hard disk when selecting add folder to itunes

iTunes doesn't have any automatic way of re-creating your directory structure in terms of folders and playlists in iTunes. You will have to drag each music folder to a playlist and then arrange these in folders inside of iTunes (which I warn you can can slow down iTunes a lot). I guess the once chance of speeding this up will be if somebody has written an Applescript to do it, but I don't remeber seeing any anywhere.

I have a pl/sql portlet. It compiles fine and shows up perfectly in portlet repository. But when i add this to the page, I get following error

Could you provide some more details about your code? I will try to look into possible causes of the error. One thing you may try is subscribing to the Knowledge Exchange on http://portalcenter.oracle.com. Then you could post your code in your community folder and everyone would be able to test it out.
Of course, this means you must be willing to share your code with everyone.

Itunes crashes while adding artwork and other information

Itunes crashes while adding artwork and other information to video and music files. Killing the process is the only cure and crashes after inputing information for 5-10 video files. I have the latest version of itunes, and this did not happen to pre 10.x versions of itunes. Running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. 64-bit iTunes.

I do not think it has anything to do with router at all. I have 25mbps down and 6mbps up where I live. This is not shabby at all and I have latest TimeCapsule which is acts as my router at home. Yet the latest iTuns blows up playing streams. So I use this player instead: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html. Not as pretty, but at least I can play radio stream 24 hours a day with it and have no problems. iTunes 10.7 does not last one hour I too wish Apple fix it.

Hi All,
I need to add two custom field under Service orders at Item level in component BT140I_SRVP.
One field is required to have the input search help f4 and autopopulates the second field
I am able to add one field(not requiring help) successfully through AET .
I have created one Zsearch_help in se11 and its successfully running and Autopopulating seocnd field while I am testing it
While adding second field through AET,I need to enter following details as -
field label,search relevant ,serach help etc.
When I type the name of my 'Zsearch_help' against field search help it gives me following error
'Search help is not compatible'.
Secondly,not getting getter and setter methods for the attrributes in BTAdminI.
Last,please tell me if i create zhelp and activate it,would it automatically appear in the list on AETwhile assiging it to input field?
Please help me out.Kindly be detailed as I am new to SAP CRM.

Error while adding a job to scheduler

Hello,
I have a batch job that is running fine in both DEV and QA environment. In DEV, I am able to schedule and run it daily. I created a similar schedule in QA environment using BODS Mgmt Console/Administrator. However, upon Activating the schedule, I am getting the following error message. Would someone know why would this error be thrown and steps to troubleshoot this error?

When contacting the server above exception was encountered, so it will be assumed the schedule is not active anymore.

Hi Rizwan Tahir ,
Delete the job server associated with the current batch job and recreate it.
Then try creating a new schedule using the new job server.
And take care that job server is created in QA environment.

I have an error while adding images to MDM I can´t explain. I want to add 7231 images. About 6983 run fine. The rest throws this error.

I checked all data. There is no such dataset in the database. Can anybody give me a hint how to avoid this error.
One thing I wonder: The PermanentId is allways the same but I can´t do anything here.

Hi Ritam,
For such issues, can you please create a new thread or directly email the author rather than dragging back up a very old thread, it is unlikely that the resolution would be the same as the database/application/etc releases would most probably be very different.
For now I will close this thread as unanswered.

Hi,
This error generally arises when your system datetime is not in sync with the Domain Controller datetime. Try following steps:
1. Check if the Windows Time Service is running on your machine or not. Try restarting this service and then restart host instances. Then run your script.
2. If this does not works, have a look at this
