Unwanted data getting displayed in field .

HI ,
I have to populate a MRP controller into the report from a infoset, the Mrp controller is being picked up from OMAT_PLANT,The problem is that along with the MRP controller even the plant is getting displayed into the report e.g :AU01/Z02 where AU01 = plant and Z02 = MRP controller.
I am new to BIW please help me out.

Inser plant in filter or insert it in row and hide it (right click on it - properties - choose 'never display').
In that way the compuonf will desapear.

Catalog codes not getting displayed in Field- QS41

During my customisation activity, codes of catalog profiles are not getting displayed in SAP screen. Field for codes are showing as blank grey area in QS41 Tcode. If I try creating same codes again, system throwing error saying "key for entry is exisying already".
Another observation is in the initial screen of QS41 if I select catalog and codes from folders all codes we can see for selection in initial screen, but same is not getting displayed in field for codes in QS41, its showing blank grey fields. Could anyone tell me what might be reason. Its happening for standard catalog profiles also.

Problem consuming a MII BLS as a Web service. No data getting displayed

Hi experts,
I am trying to consuming a MII BLS as a Web service from Visual Basic .Net 2010. But its a failure. I am unable to view any data on the VB grid. I did piece of code referring to the article in

Here are some deviations when compared to the above article.
1. Used MII 12.1 transction.
2. Used VB .Net 2010 as the development environment.
The transaction that I used has 1 action with simple query which returns the o/p xml.

You are right. I am getting a log in page when try to call the WS from the browser. I unchecked WSDLGenSecurityEnabled option. Now I am not redirected to log in page. But I am not getting the required output in the XML.
I am using SAP MII 12.1Service Pack 6.

PL/SQL not reading data in display only field

I'm using apex 4.0.
I've found on several occasions where a process did not work because a display only field is not relaying it's information. The item itself displays the information, but if I add another text field and set the new item equal to the original in the "bad" PLSQL code, nothing will display (new text field will display other fields' info). If I switch the errant display only field to a text field, everything will start working properly and continue doing so when I switch it back to display only. Even stranger is the same PLSQL code makes use of other display only items and that portion continues to work.
Is this a weird bug? Is there something I'm missing that I can do differently (besides leaving it as a text field)?

I just figured it out. For some reason, "save session state" was set to no. Hopefully this will save someone else much heartache.

Page number to get displayed only when the page count is more than 1

Hi Gurus,
My requirement is to print page numbers ONLY if the page count is more than 1 ,i.e. if the data getting displayed in 1 page only then don't print "Page n of m" but if it is getting displayed in more than 1 page then display "Page n of m" on TOP right corner.
I selected "Page n of m" and it creates 3 fields in object hierarchy i.e TextField CurrentPage, TextField PageCount and Static Text field Pages.
I go to the ready:layout of PageCount object, and use below script:
this.rawValue = xfa.layout.pageCount();
if (this.rawValue == 1) {
this.parent.Pages.presence = "invisible";
I looked at the message Page number not to display but it doesnot resolve my problem.
Please help me out.

Hello Ajay,
Script do not work for TextFields. to get the page numbers displayed. Select Text field from library and Go to Object Pallete, Value tab and select "Calculated - Read Only" in Type and choose Runtime property. There you can find the Number of Pages.
Once this is the text field, you can write script on it.
If(this.rawValue == 1)
this.presence = "invisible"
similarly write script for total number of pages, but make sure that variable is accessed properly.
Please let me know, if you still see some issues with it.

Declarative component - data getting vanished

Hi, Greetings.
In our application we have a declarative component to display some common information and is used across the screens.
The declarative component is binded with a view object to display data.
All our screens are of bounded taskflow kind and each taskflow's property are set to use new transaction always and not to share data controls.
Using breadcrum, we have implemented a workflow to navigate to next few screens.
In this scenario, while navigating forward from one screen to another screen, everything works as exprected. So far, so good.
But, while navigating back to any previous screen, the declarative component data is missing initially. The declarative component's data gets displayed once we perform some full page submission using some action buttons or in case any validation message gets popped up.
I checked the program flow and the data to the declarative component's view object is getting executed and data is available at model layer.
I also tried refreshing the component through my bean after performing an initial activity method call.
Nothing works out.
How can I make the declarative component display the records during initial launch of the screen.
Any help in this regards is greatly appreciated.

The problem is with refreshing the iterator. On providing refreshCondition property for the iterator in the corresponding pagedef file as well as for the UI component, the issue got resolved.

Data carrier & application field are not getting displayed in CV04N

In TCode : CV04N, data carrier & application field are not getting displayed.
While i compare with my IDES system, data carrier & application fields are getting displayed in CV04N.
Let me know is there any configuration that has been missed out.

Please note that the fields 'Data carrier' & 'Application field' are visible only if no document type is entered.
Suppose you enter a document type and press ENTER then these fields disappear. This is because the field 'Application' was designed when only the storage is archive, vault or SAP-SYSTEM was possible and the number of added originals was limited.
Currently DMS allows storage of originals on Content Server and there is no limit on the number of added originals, the system behavior was changed due to performance reasons. To avoid performance problems if you search for a document with a lot of originals attached this field gets invisible if you enter a document type which uses the KPRO storage.

Master data is not getting displayed in the Query Designer

Hi,
I have a DSO in which I have an InfoObject called Emp No. in the Data Field.
The Emp.No is being maintained as master with (Emp Name, Address, Telephone No, DOB) as attributes.
I have loaded the data in the Emp. No. master. Then tried loading the transaction data in DSO.
The Emp.No is there in the DSO active data, but in the query designer its not getting displayed.

Field not present in the Field Catalog also getting displayed in the ALV

I am trying to display some to an ALV grid. But since i don't need all the fields from the internal table, i have deleted those fields from the field catalog. But in-spite of doing this the field heading is still getting displayed. I am not able to figure out the reason for this. Also note that the i have not deleted that field from my internal table which contains the actual data.

If your giving your internal table to the below field then ALV try to disply those many coloumn.
wa_fcat-tabname = 'IT_OUTPUT'.
You can add for that field name.
wa_fcat--NO_OUT = 'X'.
Please check the field name on the output will be same as before column name .

Master page Dynamic data not getting displayed in consecutive pages

Hi,
   I have buit a dynamic form which has some dynamic content in master page and a dynamic table in the body page.
Layout is
Master page
      Sub form
             Field1 -TextView
             Field2 - TextField      bind with Node1--->Attribute1
             Field2- TextField       bind with Node2---->Attribute2
            Field n - TextField
all the text fields are bound to various nodes from RFC
Body Page
         Sub form
              Table -Grows Dynamically
When i run the application all the fields are displayed perfectly in the first page.
when the table data goes more than one page the problem arises
The Text fields in the master page is not displaying the values in the second page ,but the text views and the table values are fine.
The values are getting displayed in both pages if i put any attribute inside the parent node.Is there any property i need to set at node level or subform level?

Master Page is used for static content as per SAP and Adobe like company logo and company address footer section and placing watermarks etc....
I feel because of the Dynamic behavior in master page it Leeds this problem.

SAP Fields not getting displayed on the BDT screen

Hello Gurus,
I am trying to add 2 custom fields on to the claims management screen. The following steps were followed to add 2 fields on to the claims Management subclaim screen.
1. Create a field group Zxxxxx1 with the two fields attached to it as input enabled.
2. Create a View Zxxxxx2 attach the created field group Zxxxxx1, then create a subscreen screen add two fields to the screen and make them as input enabled. Then attached the subscreen to the View.
3. Create a PBO and PAI function modules for the screen and attach it to the View Zxxxxx2.
4. Create a section Zxxxxx3 and attach the view Zxxxxx2 to the section.
5. Attach the section to the Subclaim Overview Screen.
6. Inspite of doing all the above steps the screen is not getting displayed or the Function module PAI / PBO / FMOD is not being called.
Since I am attaching the section to a standard screen sequence I am not doing any modification to the screen sequence and screen sequence catagory.
Kindly let me know the steps I am missing in the configration of 2 new fields via BDT.

did you create your own Z BDT application? Is it set to be active?
I have no access to any claims management system: Does the claim object support divisibility? If so, have you assigned the correct data set in your view?
Also, if you have your own Z BDT application and the claim object does support divisibility, did you assign the Z application to the divisibility view?

Fields not getting displayed in Sapscript

Hi Guyz,
I have a customized Sapscript form ZPV_INVOICE and its print program RVADIN01. This form outputs the Sales Invoice. When the print preview is triggered, Material number (MATNR) is not getting displayed on the form. However, when the form is debugged, MATNR values are properly fetched and showed (while debugging only, not in output).
Can somebody please let me know the reason, why the MATNR is not getting displayed on the output, even though it is showing values while debugging.

Then check matnr field which is display is same what you are checking in debugging .
COnfirm the field and check whether data stays till end of module .

Quantity field not getting displayed

Hi,
I am using Adaptived RFC Model to get Sales Order Data from SAP. The Sales Order BAPI that i am using is
BAPI_SALESORDER_DETAIL. I have mapped the SALESORDER table(SALESOPRDER Model node) to the TABLE UI element in my WebDynpro Application.
The problem i am facing is that while all the fields get displayed the Quantity value is not getting displayed in the appropriate column. I have checked the mapping and everything seems to be fine.
Also when i create a separate value node for the table and fill the value node from the model node the quantity value gets displayed then.
Please suggest what can be the possible cause for this.

As far as I understand you display output parameters of BAPI, so check to following things:
1. After calling BAPI model method call invalidate on context node to update the values (e.g. outputNode.invalidaet() )
2. Check that you dispaly output parameters and not input parameters of the table. (e.g. You have Quantity and QuantityOutput node so connect you table field to QuantityOutput)

Enhanced Datasource fields not getting displayed in Transformation

Hi,
Eventhough after replicating the datasource, the Enhanced Datasource fields not getting displayed in Transformation.
Eg I have done mapping of 6 fields in transformation from datasource to DSO
Now the datasource is enhanced with 8 fields...........The transformation is not showing the added 2 fields
I am deleting the existing transformation.Is this the only solution?

Deleting is not solution as it is common scnerio.
Go to the data source in BW and in change mode check the option "transfer" for this two fields and then see if its coming or not.

Xpath field details not getting displayed

Hi all,
I am working on a idoc to file scenario, where I want to refer the receiver to be determined based upon certain condition or values that get populated for a particular field (using receiver determination). But the problem is that when I click on the condition tab on receiver determination I get a warning "Problem loading schema description"
with message as
"Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system"
But since it is an Idoc at the source we dont have any msg interfaces, further if i neglect this warning message and go further, I am not getting the fields or details of the Idoc structure getting displayed in the xpath.
But the same when I use for a file scenario(file as sender) I get the details of the context object if any.. Let me know how to resolve this..

Hi,
Yes you coudl add the missing Software component as per below steps
Even if you open Business system in Integration Directory, at last tab "Other Attributes" --> you will find the list of software components.
Press the tab Third Party service to verify the list against SLD.
If its not avaialbel in SLD
1. Goto System Landscape Directory
2. select Business Landscape and slect the apporpriate Business system and open it. (Click the name of BS)
3. There you will get the list of Software components added in it.
4. Verify the technical system name.
5. Also verify if same technical system name is used after importing the software component in Integration Repository (IR).
Goto IR -- > Explore the SCV -->Double click on name of software component version -->Check Interface Import as Import of RFC and have the same details in Connection data as per technical system
If everything is setup just refresh the SLD_CACH and import the scenario once again in Integration Directoy and process it.
You will see the IDOC in Business system.
