Unwanted foriegn page on Desktop

When I boot up my eMac I get the following page and would like to not have it pop up.

AHHHHHHHHH! If it ain't broke....
After unticking something that had 1884 HTML at the end in the statup items box I closed down and started up:
Grey screen. with small 1" square appears with a circle inside it and what looked like North and South America in it and nothing happened - or maybe I didn't wait for long enough?!
So, I closed down again, diconnected the router and the two external HDs (don't ask me why - I just did) then rebooted - same again only this time I stated clicking the screen - total panic reaction - but the square turned to a folder with a question mark in it and alternated with the Mac Face then the secreen turned blue, but not as blue as the air was before, and everything kicked in.
Was my frantic clicking the solution or had enough time passed for the comp to kick in?
Ical schedular was still clicked
Any thoughts anyone

How to get pages from desktop to iPad using icloud

Can someone help me please?! I am not that great with all of this but have Pages on desktop (version 10.7.4) and have an iPad2, i am trying to get the documents from desktop onto iPad with no luck. I have brought the app for the iPad and have icloud which is working and as far as I am aware everthing is where it needs to be, but how do the documents get onto the iPad??!! Do I have do something, if so what or should it just all appear? Also can you edit a document on the iPad or make a new document, save it and then it will appear on the desktop?

Aside from using the suggestions (both) above also make sure that you go to Settings>iCloud>Documents and data>on.
If the documents do not appear on the iPad after you have checked the settings, try creating a dummy document on the iPad. It can be anything at all. Quit Pages completely and then launch the app again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Launch Pages again.
If you were running Mountain Lion you would not need to drag the files into the browser - if you had iCloud all configured correctly on the Mac.
Once iCloud is set up and working as it should, you can simply launch Pages on the iPad, the edited files will appear and you can open and work on them there as needed. when you finish working on the document, the edited file will upload to iCloud again and be accessible in the browser like laxman described.

Unwanted blank pages inserted when creating pdf from scanner

Hello, when creating a pdf from a document scanned via Adobe Acrobat X Pro, the program inserts an unwanted blank page in between each page being scanned. So, if scanning 50 pages, we get 100, etc. How do we remediate this problem? We have worked with the default settings, to no avail. We're using a Fujitsu fi-5530c2 scanner. We would appreciate any input to help resolve this issue! Thanks Mark

You're not the first person to report that the sessionstore.js or recovery.js file stopped updating with new activity. However, it's rare enough that I can't recall whether we have gotten to the bottom of it in a previous thread. I'll see whether I can search it up.
Meanwhile, someone might be able to come up with a way to watch for problems and extract some debug information, but I'm not personally familiar with such tools.

Unwanted Second Page

Hello!
I have created a form. I added a second page using the break feature, but then removed that break. I now have an unwanted "Next, page 1 of 2" at the bottom of my online form. There is no break in the form. I put in screen shots The top is my design. The second is my preview. Please help. Thanks!

In the bottom right corner of the Design tab there is a drop down that switchs between page view and web view. Change it to web view to remove the page break. The page breaks in eah view are independent of each other.

PHANTOM web page loads on startup. Upon startup, an unwanted web page loads up.

Some file somewhere is forcing this page upon startup. I would like some ideas where to look.
I have run various utilities such as AVG, Tweaknow, and spybot s&d newest version.
Its just annoying to have to look at Yahoo Brazil upon startup
A few months back, someone suggested some reset setting in Firefox, boy what a mistake, took a long time to get things back the way I like them, and it didn't work.

Unwanted separator page

Hello all,
I have a Photosmart C7250 and I have it hooked up wirelessly to two different computers. My laptop, which is a Dell XPS M1330, works flawlessly, but the from my desktop, which is an HP Pavillion m8020n media center PC, the printer spits out a blank page between EVERY page printed. I have checked ALL of the settings and preferences and compared between the two computers and both are set exactly the same. This is truly an annoying issue and have been able to find no solution anywhere! Can sombody PLEASE help me with this?!?

Newbie Q?.. Opens in Tablet page on Desktop?

Hey guys.. have just started playing with Muse.. Watched the Terry White tutorial.. Now in muse..
Made the 3 basic pages (all default settings) First for Desktop, then Tablet, then Phone.. Added 1 small line of text eg. "This is the desktop page!" etc etc.. and small pic 200x200 under on each (no master).... and saved to test/preview...
Now when I try to preview the main html page.. It opens in the Tablet page??... the tablet & phone pages are down in there subfolders as they should be?..

Sorry guys never mind... found the thread about the chrome issues!.... Guess the Chrome team havent fixed it?...

Safari 8.02 Unexpected annoying unwanted popup pages

Using Safari 8.02 with Yosemite, this bug happens sytematicly each time I click on a page on screen. Every time, in order to get the expected url, I receive an Unexpected annoying and unwanted page, looking like malware or advertising unvolving a quite different object.
I prefer to ask the community before being mad… Is it a wrong preference , a malware, a virus ?

    Turn those off and relaunch Safari again.

I get unwanted massive page downloads to my download PDF file every time I attempt to download something I want; this download takes over my MacBook and I have to force quite to stop the download.

This started happening after I attempted to download my property tax report from the county. I will get the page I actually wanted to download but I also get page after page of unwanted material downloaded to my MacBook. The only way I can stop the massive page download is to force quite the MacBook and then restart it and delete all the unwanted pages.

I have updated my firefox files as directed, is there anything else I can or should do?

I AM able to download my Gas Bill Statement in PDF from my provider and and read it.
When i click the Download to File icon of the PDF gas statement (next to the print icon) nothing happens !
I AM able to Print a copy on my printer ok.
Note: I AM able to download to desktop/file all other statements from all my other service providers without any problem.
When i contacted my Gas Provider with this problem they informed me that they were able to download my statement on two different computers in their offices with no problems stating the problem must be with me !!
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe 9 twice with no effect.
Can you advise as to why i cannot download the GAS PDF statement page to my files but i can evey other service provider PDF statement ?

"Save Target as" is not available to me....its lettering is a very light pale colour....whereas Save Picture is a dark colour like this...and that is the one i clicked in error as you suggested !
Why am i unable to activate "Save Target"...what controls this ?
Dont understand "hover the mouse...." as when i hover the mouse over " View Statemant" you previously asked me to "Save" is on a Briish Gas web page, which does take me to the PDF statement (with a right click)t but once there when i click the Save ti file icon nothing happens.
I really dont want to use an unknown browser when everything else on my computer requiring PDF works ok..

Unwanted summary page is printed along with print request. Why??

When I print a MS Word document, an unwanted document summary is printed first that includes Filename, Directory, Template, etc., Total Editing Time, etc. number of : words, pages. and characters.
Does anyone know how to request this special page?
Or how to shut it off?

I understand you are getting an unexpected (and unwanted) document summary page whenever you print something from Word. Take a look a the following, Stop summary sheet from printing with document. Scroll down to the first suggestion following the question. The replier explains later in the thread that the "Office button" is just the File tab now if you are using a version of Word later than Word 2007. I hope this is helpful. Unwanted additional page printing officejet pro 8600

I have an officejet pro 8600 and i must have changed a setting when trying to solve a seperate problem (now resolved) but cant find what i did. The result is that when i print a word document, any text on that document is printed again on a subsequent and therefore unwanted page. Any ideas?
