Unwanted RD Web Icon

Is there a way to get rid of this remote desktop connection icon on my RD Web Access page? I have an unwanted connection to the server housing the applications how would i be able to get rid of that?

from what I recall in 2012 is that if you're not publishing anything in RDWeb, it will automatically put the RDP icon in there, but once you publish something it will go away, however, you're still stuck with the Remote Desktop tab on the top which does
the same thing as the RDP icon and I'm not really sure if you can get rid of that without actually editing the aspx source code
check the IIS configurations for the RDWeb pages, there are some parameters in there that you can play with

Hi ..
The webpage icons database may be corrupted as a result of the upgrade.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Safari/WebpageIcons.db
Click Go then move the WebpageIcons.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari.
It may take up to a day for your webpage icons to re populate.

Change WEBLOC ICONS to show Web ICONS visited

On the last update for Yosemite, all my web icons which I dragged from my address bar to desktop, now show the name WEBLOC instead of the web address Icon shown as before. My wifes new apple does the same thing. How can we get this stopped and when we drag an address from
the address bar to desktop, it will show the web icon visiting and saving to desktop. Would like it to do it automaticaly ,like it did before this update??

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
* Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

E61 - select web icon & web already in use pops up

woke this morning and selected web icon and "web already in use" popped up. reconfigured settings from nokia settings page and no help. this is v2 firmware.

I'm actualy already using Opera Mobile as my main web browser since the buil-in web browser is far too limited for my liking. But i'd still would like to be able to use Web for the cases when a page doesn't display properly in Opera. Web is also great to demo the E61 to other people, the mini-map and visual history are sure very impressive features to see.
To nj7: does restoring from the memory card really restores *everything*. That is not only the contacts and calendar data but also all the applications, all their settings and, well, everything else? I've read on several occasions that restoring from the memory card didn't restore some applications properly.
As for upgrading to the new firmware, i am unfortunately not willing to do it for several reasons:
- The nokia software updater tools tells me that there is no update available for my phone
- My local Nokia service center would take at least a week to update my phone (that's if they can do it, which is not even sure). As for most people, i can't live without my phone for a week.
- I haven't seen anything in the list of changes for the new firmware that solves any problem that i've had so i don't quite see the point of updating
- There is a major bug in the new firmware which prevents numeric shortcuts from working in many applications unless you press and hold the blue key. Opera Mobile is affected by this bug. Since i'm navigating in opera exclusively using the numeric shortcuts, upgrading to the new firmware would render Opera Mobile unusable for me. This is not an option. I browse the web extensively on my E61 and the built-in web browser simply isn't good enough for me (plus it doesn't even work anymore and i can't be sure that upgrading to the new firmware would solve the problem for good).
So if anybody has the magic trick to get Web to work again, i'd be most grateful to hear it (and i'll pay you a pint the next time you come round Ireland).

Web ICons in Drop down values.

Hi,
I would like to add Web icons as drop down values. like have the three LED's in the
dropdown along with textx say - Successs, failure etc (an eg:).
or can i have the back ground color or the text color differ for each of the drop down values..
Any suggestions/ innovative ideas are appreciated :).

Hi ,
U can use ToolbarButtonChoice Control instead of dropdown , in that u can add the menuaction items , for every menuaction item u can five the image source and text ,
first create a group than add toolbar in it than this control.
Hope this will solve ur problem.

Creating web icons from icon sheets

I'm having trouble selecting individual icons from vector
bsed icon sheets. When I select them using the magic wand selector
in Photoshop, it doesn't actually select the entire icon & when
placed on a web page looks very choppy. How do you convert web icon
sheets into individual icons?

Pressing the Web Icon in Applications resets my TX

I've been successfully accessing Wi-Fi for a couple of days, and now, when I press the Web icon to get to mail bookmarks, the unit goes black and resets itself. Prior to the first time this happened, I had been opening e-mail and forwarding some of them to other addresses. I am assuming that I will have to do a hard reset and reload everything (when I get home - I am currently on vacation - which is the reason for the heavy mail viewing) - but, hopefully, someone has a remedy. Hi, 2 questions:
1) When you checked your emails and were forwarding those emails were you doing this by going to your email website or doing this through VersaMail or some other email application ?
2) Are you getting resets at any other times and with any other applications, not just when you launch an app ?
When you try to launch any application and your Palm resets it generally means either:
• The application is not compatible with your Palm. Obviously, Blazer (Web) is compatible
or
• Your Prefs database is corrupt
or
• On NVFS Palms only (like the TX) the dbCache is too full and needs to be cleared
Do you use a backup to card application like NVBackup @

If yes then hopefully you have a backup that was made when Blazer (Web) was working ok, try a 'Restore' of that backup. This will restore a Prefs database that is not corrupt.
It is always best to do a Soft Reset before using Blazer especially when you are going to be doing a lot of work because on NVFS Palms (like the TX) the dbCache fills up and needs to be cleared.
But then, I guess you have already tried pressing the Web icon again after your TX reset itself so that has already been tried
You could also try a Blazer Spring Clean using a FileManager like FileZ @

Why can I not get the Web Icon for some of my saved Bookmarks

Many of my saved Bookmarks have their correct Web Icons.
However many fail to save their Web Icon leaving the Icon blank.
The Web Sites in question do have specific Web Icons.
I have tried deleting the Bookmarks in question and saving them again without success.
Why can I not get these icons to be saved in the Bookmarks?

No problem here with that TalkTalk website, the favicon image saves immediately when I save it as a bookmark. It uses a conventional favicon.ico image in the root directory <br />

With Barcalays iBank I can't figure out where the website image in the Location bar is being loaded from.
With Barclaycard, the favicon saves with the new bookmark, even though that image is in a non-standard location. <br/>

Don't see Norton safe web icons anymore

As of today, July-24-2014, I no longer see Norton safe web icons when I do a search.
Yesterday, everything was working fine.
What could be the problem? Firefox 31.0, Norton or Google?

There apparently is an issue with the icons not appearing on the Google results page. Symantec has indicated on its support forum that it is looking into the issue but can't yet announce anything. Safari 5.1: no favicons/web icons anymore :-(

Since I've updated to Safari 5.1 I have no favicons/web icons anymore :-( how can I activate them again???

I have the same issue, though I noticed this only after cleaning out my caches with Cocktail (Safari 5.1 was routinely causing my iMac to crash on opening Safari). I still have the occasional crash when opening Safari, and now Safari is not storing or displaying favicons.

Forms Web - Icons not showing up

Hello,
I'm running a form on the web, and I have several iconic buttons. The Oracle Developer 2000 book says that icon image files must be in .gif format, and must reside in the same directory as the html page. So I converted my icons to .gif and placed in the required folder.
On the icon property for each button, I am not specifying a path, just the filename with no extension.
The icon is not showing up. I tried setting the icon filename via set_item_property(button_name, icon_filename, filename)
ON_NEW_BLOCK_INSTANCE and placing the path to where the html file is located. The icon will not show up.

Hi, you know how when you go to a website, and in the address bar on the left side of it, theres an icon, like yahoo is a red Y and apples is a black and white apple icon? Does anyone know how to customize one and use one for a website in iweb 08? Thanks.

Open the Sharing pane of System Preferences and turn on Web Sharing; this will produce an URL in the right side of the page. Supply that URL followed by favicon.ico as the final location.
If you are behind a router, this method may produce a favicon that isn't available from the Internet. If this happens, find the public URL for your website and replace the address you got from System Preferences with it.

Web Icon not Appearing??

Okay so I've never had a Blackberry before, so all this is new to me. About 2+ hours after I got it activated, I tried to access the web, however there is no icon whatsoever to allow me to access it. I have went to managing connections and made sure my connections are working, which they say they are. Please help!

If you did have it at one time, and you have a data plan,
Then go to OPTIONS - ADVANCED OPTIONS -HOUST ROUTING TABLES click on it, menu key, and select register now.
You will get a verification email,
Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute,
Let the device reboot 1-3 min, See if the Icon has returned
