Unwanted web sites display

When searching for a specific web site with Google, Firefox redirects to unwanted web sites. These web sites are usual "junk" web sites that have nothing to do with the search we are conducting. We have the latest version of Mozilla and have tried everything to prevent unwanted web sites from displaying. For example, if I enter "Monster.com" in the Google search form, the Firefox redirects to "nfeed.com". Several other web pages will also try to be displayed and eventually Firefox crashes. We have un-installed Firefox and then did a re-install several times now. We also have the latest Internet Explorer but we do not encounter these redirect issues when using IE.

Web Site Display Language - Allowing the user to chose the language

I have created a web site that allows the user to display the page in the language of the users choice.
Windows Internet Explorer and FireFox both allow the user to select a language option, and the web page will display the text in that language.
Safari on the Mac does not allow the display to be changed.
I have used the System Preferences - International option to select the language that I would like to use. The operating system menus and other options display as expected.
Safari does not.

Adobe Acrobat upgrade has destroyed the signature and in the IE a certified web site displaying

I have encountered a very strange, but exactly the same phenomenon on my desktop PC and laptop. (W XP Professional, SP3, IE8)
The Adobe Acrobat (v.9.4) has been upgraded with the online refreshment process on both PC and now I can not use a web site at all
on both PC.
In the IE when I start the URL the popup windows with Certificate selection appears normally, but when I accept
it after that I have the below screen:

Additionally my own created signature in both Acrobat has been damaged too. When I

I tried to uninstall - reinstall the Acrobat as well as the signature, but did not fix the problem.

I will not be able to upload any forms as it is propietary information, but here are the steps taken to create the form using Adobe Acrobat Pro X or XI:
Open the PDF in Adobe Pro and click Tools.
In the Forms menu, click Edit.
Click Add New Field > Text Field.
Place the field on the document and edit the field name with the text [MAGICWORD]. This is a magic word that allows the signed form to be saved in the right location.
Click the All Properties link.
Change the Form Field from Visible to Hidden but Printable under Common Properties.
To add other visible magic word fields (optional), click Add New Field > Text Field.
Click Add New Field > Digital Signature.
Click Add New Field > Button.
Click the All Properties link.
Click the Actions tab.
Under Add an Action:
Select Trigger – Select Mouse Down.
Select Action – Select Submit a form.
Click Add.
Enter the URL:(https://anythingcangohere.com)
This enables the signed form to be submitted and saved in the right location.
Under Export Format, select PDF The complete document.
Click OK.
To add a label to the button, click the Options tab.
Label: – Enter Submit to athenaNet or Submit.
Click Close.

Web sites display for a second and dissappear

On both iphone 4 and 5 I open web sites, they display for a second or two and then disappear. Weather Channel.com is an example, the pages loads for a second and is gone. The title is still at the top, but the page is white...I have tried everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just to confirm that you checked the home pages, Firefox can store multiple home pages.
What is the site that keeps on appearing?

You can try running Firefox in [[safe mode|Firefox safe mode]] which will disable extensions and themes to test to see if one of them is causing the problem. If the site does not appear in safe mode, follow the procedure in the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article to identify the culprit.
A possible cause of random pages loading is malware. If you suspect there is a chance that this is caused by malware, try running several malware scanners. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

Web site display problems

All work OK on Chrome and IE, but FF has many problems. Worked fine until a few days ago. Downloaded latest version did not help. Google search from home page goes to an almost blank page. Nothing to click, Home page (earthlink) shows much more info than in Chrome or IE. Many pages do not display right (eg NBA.com) where top 4" is missing or do not display at all. Again, all work fine using chrome or IE.

This is likely a box model issue, common with IE. First, ensure that you have a valid DOCTYPE declared in your document. Second, check the padding and margin setting on all of your CSS elements (this is probably one of the most easily accessible box model articles on the web). Third, start tweaking your code, cursing, praying...and finally, tell everybody you know to stop using browsers that don't meet web standards

Thank you nerak99. I figured based on the executable batch file that it takes two inputs and I know what to provide. The first input is the file name and second input is the week number(like 10,11,12 etc)
I was told that this java program takes an edi file and cleans it up and generates an output file thats clean. Hope that helps. But could you point to what may be the problem with the code and how I can fix that. It appears that some variable needs to defined differently and as such am getting the out of bound exception. Can't remove an application or unwanted web sites.

I Can't remove an application that opens at startup and can't be closed; it can't be removed because it is in use. How can I can I bypass the normal startup without a boot disc, or how can I make a boot disc? This obnoxious software is call Mac Protector - anyone have experience with it? It says it is a virus scan (I thought it was a Apple product), and starts scanning automatically. Amazingly, it finds all kinds of serious threats that can't be removed without a paid subscription. It has a "settings" option to not open at startup, but it does regardless of the settings. I also started getting spontaneous **** websites opening in the middle of whatever I'm doing. They started when this software started. Hmmmm. My pop-up block is on, but I can't figure out how to stop these sites either. All in all, not a great day. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

On any web sites displaying flash or large gifs, Firefox intermittently and repeatedly disconnects USB mouse, especially when moving across page links

Firefox ver. 3.6.13 /machine is Acer dual core AMD/4 gigs memory maybe 18 months old.
This problem does not occur using IE or chrome.
Is the Flash player handling disk I/O in such a way as to trigger hardware resource conflicts? Is Mozilla image caching a cause?

If you used Sync to do that "import", disable Sync for at least one of those Profiles.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have Sync enabled for all the profiles. To my surprise, however, Sync was of no use in getting Default's extension collection into Shopping. For that I had to resort to the article http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox.
I will try disabling Sync on Shopping.

How to add a specific font needed for a particular web site?

The web site "www.gadima.com" requires the Marathi font (True Type), for displaying its content properly in Marathi language. This font is already installed in the CentOs. Firefox does not display the information in proper Marathi fonts, but displays only garbage.

I see the same on Linux in Firefox 3.6.25, so it looks that the MillenniumGanesh and LscapeRegDevPriya fonts aren't working in Firefox 3.6.25 (it works for me in Firefox 9).

Why does flash site display incorrectly when i have Flash Professional installed?

It appears that if I have Flash Professional installed or even Flash Professional CC, my Flash web site displays incorrectly in IE 10/9/8 and various versions of Firefox. This replicates on multiple computers, Windows 7, Windows 8 and has been an issue for 2+ years. On those same computers I can create virtual PCs, install FF and IE and view my site w/o problems and on many other computers it displays correctly. Design elements that should only be visible in the application are displayed in the browser when I have the apps installd. The first image is WIndows 7 running in virtual computer with IE9, the 2nd one is from the host computer using IE9. Any help will be appreciated.

Web site window size

I was on Realtor.com when my cat dashed across the keyboard. Now the window for that site is shrunken to about 2X4 inches. Can someone please tell me how to get it back to normal size? Thanks

Thank you for the suggestions; however I think I am not using correct terminology. The window itself-- what is controlled by the diagonal lines and green button -- is normal sized, but the web site display -- the page that says "Realtor.com" and "Find a Home"and what not, are stuck in teeny tiny size smack in the middle of the window. The display is roughly 2X4, unreadable, and so far immune to my attempts to resize.
