while doing the gr with refe. to PO in migo i am getting error
specify at least 1 unit
sloc is wm managed and base unit of measurement mentioned in materila master is KG and it is also maintained in the tc CUNI
please reply ASAP

When we log on to Spanish language, we are getting error in material master for Unit of measure, that the unit of measure has not been created in the language ES. But same UOM has configured in EN language and its working fine for material, while in Spanish language it appear as *** with error details,

Extactly you are right..you got to Logon in Languange ES and create the required UOM in t-code CUNI...
this shuld solve the issue..try and revrt back..

UOM error while creation of Shopping cart.

Can any one help me?
I have a problem with UOM as PCE = piece, The UOM is already there in the SRM and found that the same is not there in my backend system.
So now I have maintained the UOM in the backend system also with that of same in the SRM system. with following attributes.
Internal measurement unit as PCE
Commercial name = PCE
Technical name = PCE
ISO code = PCE
in application paramentes I have checked the the box commercial measure ment unit.
I mean I have maintained the same as that of in SRM.
Now when I tried to create a shopping cart and approved it. it shows as error in process UOM not defined in the backend system. Is it so the same ISO code has been assigned for more than 2 UOMs?
Please suggest how to resolve this? also Do I need to tick the primary code box also?

Thanks for your reply, But let me explain you, The UOM PCE = piece is existing in the SRM right from the beginning , which has not corresponding UOM maintained in the backend system.
So now I simply maintained all the attributes of UOM, same like in the SRM.
By simply ticking the Primary code will this solve my problem? or, shall I really have download the UOM through R3AS from backend to SRM?
Can you please suggest?

About UOM error of PO

Dears,
I create a PR, the account assignment is K.
And the PR's UOM is YR...
When I transformed PR to PO, i want to change the PO's UOM to SET.
After that I GOT AN ERROR MSG OF 06480.
Show that "Order unit SET not convertible into unit YR of requisition"
Is there any suggestions about the problem?

Both UoM are not in same dimension. Check this in CUNI. In standard system, you can converts KG to TON or vice versa because, both belong to the same dimension (MASS) in CUNI.
Example:
In CUNI, KG belongs to MASS Dimension TON, MG, LB are also belongs to MASS Dimension and each of these have a predefined Conversion Rate. So, you can convert them from KG to TON or TON to KG without any issues.
You need to make a similar set up for your U/Ms in CUNI Tcode by putting them in same dimension and havind a conversion rate with the Base ISI U/m

Here is what I have setup. I believe this is correct but am still getting the error message.
For Part # A120BB:
     Purchasing U of M = ea
     Sales U of M = ea
     Inventory U o M = ea
In Admin > Setup > Inventory > Length and Width U of M:
     Code = ea
     Unit Name = Each
     Volume Code = ea
     Length = 1
In Admin > Setup > Inventory > U of M: Weight U of M:
     Code = ea
     Unit name = Each
     Weight = 1
I have also tried changing the name to 'ea'; still the same error. Client is on SAP 2007 A SP01 PL10

Hi,
Data records for package 39 selected in PSA - 2 error(s). Record 5129 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM . Record 5132 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM
The issue with record no. 5129 and 5132.
In PSA check errorneous records and it will display only the error records, you just edit as per the require and try reloading into cube.
Deleting single record is not possible.
Let us know if you still have any issues.

Unable to load Materials from ECC to Cloud due to UoM errors

Dear experts,
We are working to set up the ECC integration with C4C through HCI, we maintained all necessary settings in ECC and HCI.
When we are trying to send Material data from ECC to C4C they are failing in Cloud with error "Solve Configuration Issue in Code List Mapping for field MeasureUnitCode with value PCE", but we maintained all the Material specific UoM in cloud and mapped them with ECC values in Code List mapping.
Can someone give your input in which scenario this error comes and how UoM Conversions gets updated in Cloud, like ECC Material master.

Hi Naren,
we have experienced a similar problem when loading materials from ECC to C4C.
What we have seen is that you have to:
- maintain the basic UoM of the material in C4C
- maintain all the UoM mentioned in the conversions for the material
- maintain the Code Mapping for these UoM if the codes are different from ECC and C4C
Nevertheless we had a problem for materials that in ECC in the UoM conversions section of master data have conversions like: 1 MTR = 1000 MMT (1 meter = 1000 millimeter).
In C4C we have activated UoM MTR and MMT, and MMT is defined as 0.001 MTR. So the conversion rate is defined in C4C.
If ECC sends this conversion for the material to C4C we have an error.
We have solved it modifying the mapping in HCI for the iflow *.erp2cod.material.*: in the mapping, the conversion element is not transferred if the basic UoM is MMT and the conversion UoM is MTR.
This is an example and a simple workaround that allows us to load these materials.

UOM error in F4 help

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in quality server. When I click on f4 help for UOM field (which is UNIT field of structure BBPS_SC_APP_ITEM) I get this message "Internal unit KNM, language EN is not maintained" though F4 is also displayed. I just fail to understand what is wrong as it is workin fine in development server. I have also checked all the configurational settings.
Any help will be appreciated.

Is it happening for only one unit or for all units? Did you check the "language" of the UOM that you are using ?
Trnx: CUNI --> ISO codes -> select the UOM -> Utlilities -> choose language -> select the applicable language.
Check the same for dimensions as well.
As far i know, apart from this there is no dependent relations to UOM and language. If there is any alternative to it, i would love to learn it.

Excise extraction UOM error

Dear All,
We have a problem with excise register extraction. For a material we maintain basic unit of measure as TON and unit of issue as KG. The problem is in excise register RG23A extraction i.e.
we buy 10TON of the material so rg23a part 1 up dates as 10+
Now we issue 1000 kg now in register rg23a updates as 1000- so balance quantity we get as 10 - 1000 = -990
really it should be 10ton - 1 ton (1000) = 9 but this is not happening please help..

Billing doc error due t copa standard quantity

Hi I am facing an issue .this is regarding the error while releaseing a billing doc the errortranslating the quantity to the COPA standard quatity.
in material master i checked the unit of measure is SET and in copa KEA6 VVAUM( Alt Uom)
Error translating the quantity to the CO-PA standard quantity
Message no. K/832
Diagnosis
Customizing in Profitability Analysis CO-PA allows a standard quantity field to be updated.
An error has occurred in the present document while the standard quantity field "VVAUM" was being supplied.
The base unit of measure "SET" could not be translated into the standard unit of measure "M3" for the material "B/CAL/PROJECT5".
System Response
It is not possible to process the document again.
Procedure
1. If required, maintain the unit of measure "M3" as an alternative unit of measure in the material master for the material "B/CAL/PROJECT5".
2. In certain cases, you should check whether derivation of the unit of measure for the CO-PA standard quantity field "VVAUM" needs to be changed in Customizing for CO-PA characteristic derivation

Service Ticket in CRM 7.0

We are upgarding CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0. Client is using Service Ticket in IC Web Client in CRM 5.0. As part of the project, we don't want to migrate it to service request. We will continue using service ticket in 7.0 as well. But client wants to use WebUI screen for service ticket. I know that SAP does not provide any WebUI screen for Service Ticket. But I have noticed that when I click on service order link in CRM 7.0 IC Web, it is giving me a pop-up to select the document type. One of them is service ticket. I believe this behavior is because of the same business object type 'Service Process' for order and ticket. Can we just use this WebUI screen to maintain the service ticket? I also know that there are certain validations in the service ticket user interface. But, if the process works fine for our requirement, then can we use WebUI screen?
Please let me know as soon as possible.

For the pricing error, if no pricing date required, please check of the pricing relevency at item category customizing setting under both transaction category BUS2000115 and BUS2000116.
For the UOM error, please check whether a base unit and sales unit for this dummy product are maintained and the organizational units used in the order are assigned.
Alternatively:
you can use the BADI: CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI, there you can create your own implementation and change the default product investigation to your individual product.

Just check in SM12 if no entries are locked.

Error Message while entering alternate UOM in BOM, despite being maintained

I wish for a solution for this issue.
When I am creating a BOM,
while entering the line item, with a material number,
when I enter the UOM for the material, which is the alternate UOM maintained in the material master (already)
I am still getting this error message
"Unit of measure DKG not supported for material XXXXX in plant XXXX"

But my issue is i have data ( in a different server), such that
the bom is accepting a UOM that is defined in the Alternate UOM and not maintained as the Unit of Issue.
I am trying to replicate the same thing here but when I add an alternate UOM, which is not in Unit of Issue, then error message is thrown while bom creation.
Are any configs to be checked

UOM group error while material document posted throgh BDC( MB01)

Hi All,
we are facing issue while posting material through MB0-goods reciept
error "UOM group not maintaineed for 'XXXXX" material" for some line items,
and i have checked in material master data, UOM group not maintained for some material,
even after maintaind UOM group for those material's still we are facing same problem,
as i checked in BDC code there is no validation for UOM group,
if we posted same PO manual, document posted successfull,
please suggest me.....why this error message coming eventhogh UOM group mainted?
