UOM in Rg23A Part1 Register

Dear All,
In RG23A part1 Register, i am not able to see Unit of measure, its showing only qty as 10, but how we will know whether its Pcs, Kgs
But its updating in the table J_1IPART1

I am not sure abut number range but I am sure about ECC no
you asked in your yesterday thread baout this
if vendor have delear registration then in that D will come( ECC NO)
If vendor is manufacturer then M will come In ECC number observer closely it
these are the parameter from which we can separate it

RG23A Part1 entries not printed in registers

Dear Gurus,
Transaction J1IEX generated RG23A PART1 and RG23A PART2 Entries and Internal Excise Invoice Number:
Internal excise Invoice Number - 2848
RG23A PART1 - 780
RG23A PART2 - 630
RG23A PART1 and RG23A PART2 Resisters are extracted using J2I5 and Printed using ZJ2I6.
After Extracting RG23A PART2, showing entry (630) in print preview of RG23A PART2 Register which is generated using J1IEX
But after extracting RG23A PART1 Register, not showing entry (780) which is generated using J1IEX in RG23A PART1 Register.
Do we need to post J1i5 before extracting J2i5, so that entries are printed in RG23A PArt1 register

Dear Gurus,
Find the current scenario, what we executed. we do not have a Purchase order as the Material moves with Movement Type 323 (TR. Code QAC2) from Storage location to storage location:
1. We entered J1IEX for Excise Value credit with option of Without Purchase Order noticed an entry in both the tables of J_1IPart1 and J_1IPart2
2. We ran J1I5 for Movement Type 323 u2026 Entry was recorded in J_1IPArt1 table
3. Run J2I5 for the Register extract
4. Run ZJ2I6 for the Register print
RG23 A Part 2 register print has the Value Credit entry
RG23 A Part 1 register print does not have either of the 2 above entries ( from J1IEX and J1I5)
My queries
1. J1IEX generates a Part 1 Entry into the table u2013 should this not be in the print
2. If J1IEX records an entry into the Part 1 table do we need to run J1I5 again for 323 as this posts 1 more record
3. ZJ2I6 needs to print the Part1 Entry for this scenario. Currently it does not

SemiFinish material in RG23A Part1

Dear Gurus,
I am having the scenario in which client want the semifinish material after production to be in RG23A Part1.
Please suggest how to map this sceanrio.
Kindly note that i can't use Mov Type-101 to receive this material in inventory due to some technical constraints.

Excise register rg23a part1

hi,
        in j2i6 while executing the register for print-out,we have three selection parameter that is excise group,date and format i.e script or excel.after execution system gives report of all materials, in that i want bifurcation for material i.e if i want to execute for only one material is it possible .
              in j2i6 we have execution parameter date can we add one more parameter i.e material
          programme name -j_2irap1
         screen no-1000
        is ther any user exit available in this screen

Updating the register RG23a Part1

hii CIN EXPERTs,
against a raw material, i have done a PO and MIGO, did capture n posting EI w.r.t. PO.
now i am trying to update the register RG23 A part 1 with J1I5, gave plant, Excise grp, and Doc date, Posting date. Classification ROP. According to me, my all data, n configuration is correct.
but i am getting message that List contains no data. i am able to do Extraction n print. then why not updation?

RG23A ,RG23C register updation

Hi all,
We are doin all excise entries like J1iiIN, J1iEX etc etc
But our tables are not updated.
Now we require to maintain RG23A and RG23C registers
Can anyone help me with y this happening and how can i update the tables so that we can maintain and use the registers.

This standard setting whenever if do any goods movt Register automatically get updated depending uopn the setting carried out against particular Movt type. Go as below.
Logistics - General>Tax on Goods Movements>India>Business Transactions>Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoices> Here you can maintain Register against particular Movt type which rigester shold get updated

Transfer of material from RG1 to RG23A Part1

Hi Gurus ,
here I have a complicated scenario , actually this is client req regarding to captive consumption
the scenario is as following
they have one finished material say F01( FERT ) , normally they do sell of that material and sometimes they use this F01 as a raw material for power plant located in same plant under same excise registration , so what they want that is the material should be issued from RG1 to part 1 , they are taking that material in part1 .. in system we decleare that F01 as a RG1 in J1Id
here we mapped the stock transfer scenario in same plant for differant storage location , in GR we take that material in part 1 and system allows this
now we updateRG1( issue movement 641 ) by J1i5 and 23part1 ( classification ROP , movement type 101 ) , after extraction of both registers we can see issue entry in RG1 and receipt entry in RG23part 1 ,
so please suggest modification in process , as this process seems not normal .

Case1) Process flow IF material is Excisable:
Do 542 of material
Reconcile the challan with that dpcument
Complete the challan
Do 541 for second vendor
Raise the s/c Challan
Case 2) Process flow if material is non excisable
Do 542 of material
Do 541 to the second vendor
OR u can do
542 in MB1B wherein u can put the vendor where u want material to be sent.

J2IUN - Problem RG23a, Pla register balances

Hi gurus,
We uploaded RG23A Part II in table as 2 crores as well as 2 crores in gl for that.
In pla we uploaded around 50000,
When we gone utilisation they system showing only 84 lakhs in Rg23a and in pla it is showing more then 2 crores, which we are not uploaded any balance in pla.
What would be the reason, please explain us.

please check once in automatic account determination that which G/L a/c been congi for RG23A & PLA
path
Logistic Genrel -> tax on good movement -> India -> account determination -> Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction
there will be some G/l account, copy them and display with transaction FBL3N to see the amount.

Part1 Register error

Hi Gurus,
1. In Display option of MIGO, System is not generating Part1 screen tab for some material GR although for some material GR system is generating Part1 Screen tab at Excise Item level of MIGO.
2. In J1IEX Display option, I can view the Part1 screen tab for Excise material for which system is not generating Part1 Screen tab al MIGO level.
3. I have checked all possible config. as well as transaction, in every cases system is generating Part1 Screen tab in MIGO Display option.
Gurus help me to resolve this issue.

Similar issue, I am not able to post part2 for CVD, message says all part1 entries for this excise invoice has been cancelled. When i go to migo part1 is not displayed.
SCM says they have done everything right, GRN is done and i have also posted the invoice, CVD is pending to be posted.
It will be a very long process to reverse the GRN and Invoice.
Pls suggest solution for this without reversing the GR or IR.

Part 1 entries for RG23A not printed in registers

Dear Gurus,
After capturing the excise invoice without refernce to the purchase order form transfer from stotage location to storage location excise Invoice we posted. RG23A PART1 and RG23A PART2 Resisters are extracted using J2I5 and Printed using ZJ2I6.
After Extracting RG23A PART2, showing entry (630) in print preview of RG23A PART2 Register which is generated using J1IEX
But after extracting RG23A PART1 Register, not showing entry (780) which is generated using J1IEX in RG23A PART1 Register.
Kindly let me know where i need to check/update the entries by which part 1 entries can be printed in registers.

I was just going through your message, Here I have one clarification, Is it really required to capture the excise invoice for Storage Location to Storage Location transfer of Materials. Excise is only applicable when the movements happens between two plants.. Please once again cross verify this transaction. As per my understanding the there is no necessity of capturing the excise invoice for this transaction.
Please do correct me if I am wrong!!!

Rg 23 a part 1

My client is selling the raw material and sales is exports under lut.
now after sales rg23 part1 should update how it is possible
i have maintained sales views for this material and sold the material under lut exports.
now am updating j1i5 rg23 part1 it is saying wrong classification
i maintained 601 movement type for the register rg 23a updation
can plz tell the solution how to update the rg23 a part 1 register by selling the raw material

In case of Raw Material Sale, the steps as follows -
At the time of Purchase
1. Goods Receipt & Automatic Updation of Part1
2. CENVAT Credit for Incoming Material
3. Dispatch with Excise Invoice and pass on the same duty at the time of purchase.
Please inform at the time of Updation of RG23A Part 1 through J1I5 what was the classification you are selecting.
The following classifcation need to selection when you are updation RG23A PART1
Register Type
Goods issues
Goods receipts
For Goods Receipt : ROP
For Goods Issue: IIM, IPD , IWD
Please check which one you are selecting

STO Interplant Excise

I want to know when we do STO between plants for raw material. Which excise register gets hit in both the plants. What are the excise entries. Please tell me the usual practice

For raw material RG23A register will get updated. When you issue materila please capture the excise via J1IS. During MIGO in receiving plant RG23A part1 register will get updated .Capture the excise in J1IEX. Then RG23A part2 postings will get updated. To get the excise caliculations need ti implemet the tax procedure. In both the plants RG23A register wil get updated. in issuing plant RG23A register values will be reduced. Thanking you.

No Internal Number in J_1IPART1 table

Dear Team,
I have updated the RG23A part1 register through T code J1I5 using the Classification ROP but to my surprise in J_1ipart1 table doesnt have any entry in the internal Number.

Try J2I5-Excise Registers Extraction after J1I5.

My query is ....
if the above talbe is updated with D type register, then these entires whould come during modvat utlization - J2IUN. because these are due for utilization.
In my system during j2iun, these invoices are not reflecting.
