We have a client copy of our production system which we use to test things in. We were testing sales order and trying to do delivery, pgi and whenever we run a VA02 or vlo2n it does not go through, instead emailing a Update was terminated error:

The problem is with the number ranges. The error, SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPR, displayed states that a insert was being tried with a document no already existing. Kindly check up the number ranges

I've checked in the program before calling BAPI_TRNASACTION_COMMIT if it returns any erros after BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE. It will check any missing data. The error happends only if I tried to post a blanket order with multiple items. With single item, it's working fine. The data are correct. I'm wondering what causes this error.

My on-line membership to iTunes/Netflix was terminated when one of them was unable to collect my monthly payment for December 2013. The expiration date on my credit card had changed. I didn't know I had to notify them of that change. I've never had to notify any business, ever, since I've had a credit card. I've written them emails giving them my new expir. date and asking how I can settle my account but, so far, have received no response other than notes from both iTunes and Netflix announcing my cancelled membership. I just want to give them the 8 bucks and settle my acct. Help! Jack

Thank you for the question. Once you update your payment information in iTunes for the expiration date change you should be able to renew the subscription to Netflix. The steps in the first article walk you through updating your payment information. Error"Update was terminated' while doing picking and data was not saved

hi experts,
I have created a sales order. for that i created a deliery.then i created shipment .and i have put pick qty and batch.
it gives a message Express document " Updated was terminated "received from author XXXX.
and picking is not saved and i'm not able to do PGI.

Analyse this error in ST22 - ABAP runtime error or in SM13 - update request.The system will show the error update records in red color. Click the error & see the problem in funciton module.THis may be because of no ranges problem or any changes in print out program. Also if u have any BADI activation for the sale order & any changes in this program also leads to this error.

Hyper-V could not replicate changes for virtual machine 'machinename': The connection with the server was terminated abnormally (0x00002EFE).

I have a 3 node cluster that has replica setup to replicate to another cluster off-site.
Suddenly one of the servers is not replicating with the error:
Hyper-V could not replicate changes for virtual machine 'machinename': The connection with the server was terminated abnormally (0x00002EFE). (Virtual Machine ID CC0FD4CC-F9B7-4C68-ABE8-B7D52A87899F)
All other servers are replicating fine so there cannot be a permissions or connectivity issue between the 2 clusters.
This server has 2TB of data so I'd rather not have to start the replication again.
Does anyone have any pointers?

Based on my knowledge , "hyper-v replica broker " is needed for failover cluster replica .

Error 'Update Was Terminated' - While clearing an open item

Hi,
We are facing a problem where we receive an error - "Update Was Terminated" when we try to clear some entries for 3-4 vendors (posted in period 12 of year 2006. it happens only for those 3-4 vendors). We have identified the problem as follows:
1) We ran program SAPF190 and found that there is a defference in the 'debit balance' and Total of line items' for these vendors. I ran program SAPF71 (in Quality server) which rectified some entries. However, some entries still remain incorrect and these entries that still remain incorrect are ones - "which have a posting date of 10 oct 2006, but the posting period picked up by the document header is period 12, instead of period 7". Now, some other documents posted for the same vendor on the same date have picked up the correct posting period i.e. 7. I am really baffled at how this actually happened and howcome the system allowed it??
2) After running program SAPF190, there were some entries that got corrected (these entries were just not captured by the system in the balance field, and did not have the same problem as the entries mentioned above where the wrong posting period was picked by the system). When i tried to clear the line items for the vendors whose entries had been rectified, it still gve the update error. When i checked the number range status, i noticed something very odd:
"The number range status shows a number much higher than what the system is automatically picking for the documents (e.g system picks 230 as the document number when posting, but the number range staus in FBN1 shows current number as 256). Also, once 256 is reached (i posted 26 documents for it) and we post the 257th document, the error remains and the status number now moves up 100 places to 356). At this time if i post another document it picks the number 258 instead of 356...and if i keep posting documents till 356 is reached, im sure when i post the 357th document, the status will jump to 456)
Can someone please help me here!! I dont understand how and why this is happening!!

The error is "Update was terminated" . It sends this message to my inbox!! After searching a bit i found about the two reports - SAPF190 and SAPF071. After running them i found some balance mis-match. I ran the two programs and it rectified those mis-matched entries!! However, even after that, it is giving me the same "update was terminated" error. We are using F-44 for clearing.
This error is coming only for those entries which we had posted using a user-exit. Basiaclly these are entries for late payment which were programmed to be posted directly at the time of invoicing. I just checked the code of the exit, and these entries were (astonishingly) made directly into the BKPF and BSEG tables (infact the posting period was hard-coded to '12', which is why even when my posting date for these documents is 10.10.2006, it still enters posting period '12' in the header instead of '7'.). Therefore, there were balance mis-match when we saw the monthly balance in FK10N and compared it with the line items total for that month. However, on running report SAPF071, it corrected those entries, but the update error problem still persists!!

As I understand, you are encountering the issue that Workflow Manager Backend service terminating each time. May I know did you run the update cmdlets after you installed the updates for SharePoint server 2013? Please confirm it per the link below:

If you haven’t run the updates cmdlets, I suspect this is an install issue. I’d suggest you re-install workflow manager to resolve the issue:
1) Leave WFM/SB Farm
2) Uninstall updates and application in the following order and one at a time:

Workflow Manager CU1
Service Bus 1.0
Workflow Manager 1.0
Workflow Manager Client 1.0
Microsoft Windows Fabric
3) Log into SQL server and delete Service Bus and Workflow Manager databases.

BP replication CRM to R/3- Editing was terminated

Hi,
We first create a prospect which is not replicated to R/3 but ones the Prospect is converted into sold-to-party we change the classification to Customer and this needs to flow to r/3 but on entering all required general data and sales area data and saving a customer in CRM we find that a bdoc is found in error state "partially sent, recievers have errors" and the error segment shows " Editing was terminated Message no. FB013"
but the Customer flows to r/3 only with general data , sales area missing.
Now if we reprocess the same bdoc in smwo1 then it shows "confirmed fully" and now the sales area successfully flows for the same customer to r/3.
Please let me know why the Customer is not taking the sales area initially during creation and how this can be resolved .

We are getting the below error message at the time of goods receipt at receving plant for STO OBD delivery, when user trying to post the GR, then GR number created and when they try to open the number , then they get this error message.

When we went in to SM13 and saw that everything is fine , there was no message in red.
Erro details showing the s032 update error with Internal session terminated with a runtime error DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR.

This is probably an overflow of a field on the infostructure S032.
Please check this table for this material and plant combination and observe if there is any field with a high value.
As a workaround, you may deactivate the updating of S032 via OMO9 to "no updating" to avoid the dump.

FMBBC Express document " Update was terminated error"

while saving data FMBBC i am getting saved message , after that if i come out of the Tcode i am getting message as
Express document " update was terminated".I was debugging the standard code found that the error comes from SXOP table entry, This table is get filled from FM SO_EXPRESS_FLAG_SET. But this FM is called from background I think. There is no job also created.After displaying the message automatically the SXOP table entry is get deleted. I want to debug this FM or wht is the reason for displaying message.

Following steps may help you.
1. GO to SM13 transaction.
2. Check your update request.
3. You can see exact point in the standard program where you are getting this message

I have added two segments to the Invoice
idoc INVOIC02 .
In the user exit EXIT_SAPLVEDF_002 , inside
Include ZXEDFU02 , i have another include
by name include yxedfu02_us. inside this I
have added the code to populate the two
added segments for E1EDK01.
Now i am facing a problem in creating or
changing a billing document in VF01/VF02.
I am entering data for output.
I navigate to HEADER- OUTPUT in vf02.
There i am giving YU10 (for EDI output).
first problem is this YU10 is displayed
with yellow status icon.
secondly , when i save and come out and go
into vf02 again for the same billing
document it shows "Update was terminated".
I went to Sm13 and found the error.

Hi,
The table INT_EDIDD will only be recognized within the outer include zxedfu02.
To access this from a subroutine in another include you must pass it to the subroutine using the tables statement.

our system is ecc6 with IS -retail activated. support Stack level is 12 and database is oracle , os is windows.
We are getting express document error " Update was terminated " when executing WSM8 . on ST22, we are getting following error
POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT . We applied note 1053491
which is similar to the issue but it does not solve.

After changing the pricing date and recheking the order iam getting the following message " Update was Terminated".

In my current assignment, while saving the invoice document the excise invoice and billing document in the background got created but not been updated in the database. i am facing the update was terminated error in the analysis it was understood that the error appeared during the FM : RV_INVOICE_POST. I had validated the number ranges, for objects J_1IEXCLOC and J_1IINTPR2, & J_1IINTNUM RV_BELEG. All the number range assignments were proper, but some how the error remains same. The CIN master data is also maintained. In the current assignment, the number ranges were not maintained in the billing document type, instead a custom table is maintained based on the combination of sales org and billing type. However the to and from range is as usually maintained in SNUM. I even referred to the sap note 407606 but it could not help.
I would appreciate your valuable time and effort while assisting me in this regards.

Hi,
Whenver you are seeing this issue, are you getting a pop up message (update terminated) after the success message. If yes then go immediately to ST22. You could see a dump. Ask your ABAPer to find the route cause for the dump. If possible post the reason for dump. I hope you could get some help on that.
