Up navigation from the bottom of a thread

Ok, first I really like the new mobile site.
I prefer to read posts from oldest (on top) to newest (on bottom). I do this, because as I'm scrolling down, I'm also refreshing my memory of the thread. The problem is that when I'm done, I have to scroll all the way back to the top to find the up button. On a large screen this isn't a problem, as there's a scroll bar, but on small devices it can take a dozen swipes to get back to the top.

What device are you using?
I assume you are talking about something other than the iPad?
Is there a sort order above the date column? Clicking on this can switch between Ascending and Descending order.

How do I start Icons on IPhone 6 from the bottom of the screen

Hello,
The new phone is too big for me to reach the top of the phone without moving my hand position, this means I can not do one handed operation of the 6 as easily as the 5. Is there a way to make each page of Icons begin from the bottom? If not, this should be put on a list of upgrades to the next operating system as I don't need all my apps on one screen so I would rather have more pages of apps with blank space at the top of the screen (rather than the bottom) for each of my pages so I can reach all of them without my second hand.

You don't. There is a feature built into the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus called "Reachability". Tap twice on the home button (tap, don't click) and it will pull the screen down to make it easier to reach icons and controld at the top.

Settings/Control Center. There are two options which are pretty self-explanitory...one enables/disables access on the Lock Screen and one enables/disables access within apps/games.

It is possible that the screen is too high and that the scroll bar and the find bar and add-on bar fall off at the bottom.
If that works then close Firefox (File > Exit/Quit) to save that setting.

I have a thin horizontal line running across my screen about 1/4 of the way from the bottom of the monitor. Why is it there and how do I get rid of it?

There is a thin horizontal line running across the width of my screen about 1/4 of the way from the bottom. This line, along with an occasional vertical line about a 1/3 of the way from the right side of my monitor, started appearing about 7 days ago. Usually the line would disappear after a restart but now it seems intent on staying. Does anyone know what is going on and how can I resolve this?

How do I remove the white space from the bottom and side of my document?

How do I remove the white space from the bottom and side of my document? (I'm not talking about printing, just viewing it on the screen.) There are about 6 inches of white space at the bottom and at the right hand side. I don't like this. On a blank new spreadsheet it's triple that amount of white space.

The infinite canvas convention doesn't make a lot of sense for Numbers. When I'm viewing a spreadsheet and mistakenly scroll into white, empty space I think, "this is ridiculous - all of my content is fits on one screen. there's nothing over there."
A (relatively) infinite canvas is logical for Microsft Excel because it's one big table. There are 256(?) columns by default and hundreds of rows on a sheet - there are cells outside what a user is looking at to see. However, when viewing a Numbers spreadsheet with a single 10 column 10 row table that fits on the screen, there's nothing else on it to scroll to.
Numbers should distinguish between viewing a spreadsheet and editing one. When I'm just viewing, when there's no content outside the window it shouldn't scroll there. This window behavior is beyond annoying for Numbers on my iPad and iPhone.
(Adding user-defined canvas size setting to my view mode / edit mode thinking would probably be the most complete solution to this now that I think about it.)
Until now the way scrolling worked in Numbers has defied logic. Actually it still does lol. That said, thank you Yellowbox for providing a clear explanation. Much appreciated.

Easy-these are just aliases. Do a cloverleaf+F/command+F (Find) and they should appear. Either create an alias and drag it to the dock-or there's an "add to Dock" command in the Finder. so click on whichever app you'd like to add to the Dock, then add to Dock and it should appear there. If something isn't in the Dock that doesn't mean it's gone for good. It's just an alias
