So I go to the website and run a test and it says up to 20mb is available on my line I typed my number in. Phone bt and ask when I will get this they tell my I can not have it yet as my account is on an old system even though the checker when I typed my number in says I can.
So what's going on here.

or
'Upto 8mb' (an old system I presume)

A 20MB file is pretty big. Are you sure that you don't mean a 20KB file. That's where everyone is confused about what you are asking. Saving your file from AI as a PDF and choosing Smallest File Size in the Second dialog will probably give you the smallest file you can get.

Need help on downloading apps that are more than 20MB in size

I can only download apps less than 20MB in size. If i want to download others that are larger than 20MB, i have to use wifi... But after I connected my phone to my home network and clicked on the app, I am still unable to download it... The only message that pops up is to prompt me to connect to wifi.... but I thought I have connected it already??! So now the apps are grey in colour and stuck at the "loading" stage... Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? Thanks.

I have one that is 22MB, one 124MB and one 36MB.... but i have tried to download those which are above 40MB but they can work... I don't know what happened to thes 3 apps...
Oh my, I have just started using iphone for 2weeks and i dun suppose my phone is out of space already?!! currently there are less than 40apps...
And the problem is i can't delete these apps that are stuck? when i press and hold, there is no "cross" at the top left hand corner... and i tried to uncheck the boxes in itunes to "un-sync" them.... but the apps remain greyed out on my phone... do you have any other ways to delete them?

Windows 8.1 to Synology NAS (DS2413+) - SMB 20MB/s but HTTP 100MB/s?!

Using the normal Windows 8.1 file sharing (SMB) on a high-end laptop with a mapped drive to a shared folder on my new Synology NAS (DS2413+), I get approximately 20MB/s speed... which is so slow the NAS is pretty much useless in my office as we need to
move terabytes of data and don't have much time to do it. If I transfer the exact same file from the same laptop using the Synology's web interface "File Station" (HTTP), the speed is approximately 100MB/s! We can live with 100MB/s. File Station
is really not an option for us though because we need the Windows file sharing stuff like mapped drive letters.
The laptop is plugged directly into the NAS with a network cable... there is no switch involved. I can replicate this behavior consistently - 20MB/s using Windows file sharing (SMB) and 100MB/s using File Station (HTTP.) I've tried everything I can think of
on the laptop after a couple days of troubleshooting and could really use some help. Hopefully someone else has run into this and solved it?
Some of the troubleshooting stuff I've done includes deleting the network adapter on the Windows 8.1 laptop and reinstalling it, to make sure I hadn't screwed up any default settings... nothing changed with the speeds, but I think that's a moot point because
transferring files is 5x faster with HTTP than SMB, so the network connection itself is fine. I have also enabled SMB2 on the NAS and confirmed with the PowerShell cmdlet "Get-SmbConnection" that SMB2 is being used.

if this is with the internet, iChat is probly your best bet,
but if you just want a transfer,
plug a firewire into both of your computers, shutdown one of them, hold "T" and press the power button, the restarted computer should pop up as an external drive on the second computer.

How do I get ADSL2+ (Up to 20MB)

I've been on BT Broadband forever and Broadband Anywhere for just about 18 months (contract ends this month, I think!). Try as I may I cannot find a way through any BT.com web page that will allow me to upgrade from 8MB max to 20MB max, despite the fact that my exchange has been enabled for this for ages and despite the fact that I am told via the web pages that I should be able to get 13MB. The last time I looked (early Summer) I found somewhere (can't recall how) that, because I am a Broadband Anywhere customer I will need to renew my Anywhere contract before I can have the faster service. So I've waited until now to take this further and make a decision to stay with BT Mobile or go elsewhere (not terribly impressed with the ToGo handset I currently have (HTC Raspberry;-)).
I suppose my questions are: -
1. Am I tied into another 12 or 18 month term with BT mobile if I want to upgrade my line speed?
2. If I cancel my BT Mobile account and go elsewhere for a phone will this free up my Broadband contract so that I can get the upgrade?
3. If I decide to renew Anywhere with BT Mobile how do I actually do it? (I'm presuming unless I do something they will put me on some sort of month-at-a-time arrangement until I want to take advantage of some offer or another, when a longer term renewal will be sought).
4. WHere do I go to find out about handset upgrades as part of a contract renewal?
5. Where do I go (full stop!) to actually discover the current state of my contract with BT and/or who can I talk to if trying to get answers via the Internet fails?
Sorry if this is a tall order for my first post but unless I'm missing something fundamental BT appears to be less than helpful in navigating to the right web pages to find the answers.

This message was given when trying to update an app I already had installed on the phone. My question is why? Is this a problem with the programming making you connect to the internet via link or Wi-Fi. Or is this a limitation on the Verizon network? Or perhaps a limitation set in place by Apple to prevent long downloads? So I came here hoping to get some hard cold facts. (since Verizon associates would not or simply could not help me)
Personally I could care less if it took 6 hours to download an update. I do however have a problem paying a telephone service an insane rate to get "unlimited data" and not being able to receive unlimited data.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont have Wifi in the countryside and theres no DSL, only 3G and 4G. why should I have to buy another 3G service when I already have one? This is one of the problems of globalisation, because AT&T cant handle the volume, the whole world has to suffer.
I pay per gigabyte, so dont need these restrictions Apple! Its mine to use.

How do I send an email with an attachment larger than 20mb

I am using exchange 2013 and I have users that when they send any emails with attachments over 20mb, it fails.
How do I change the setting to allow up to 30mb attachments in size? I've googled this, but to no avail.
In ECP, I looked under mailflow and then rules, but I don't have any rules there. I tried creating one, but I can't because I don't have the enterprise CALs I guess is what it's telling me.
Any help would be appreciated.

The user settings is unlimited. For testing, I changed my own account to 100mb.

Not able to delete app icons that are in loading stage and more than 20mb, so cant be loaded completely.

I am not able to delete the app icon (loading) of more than 20MB file app.
I have downloaded them to my itunes but they just dont go away even after syncronising.
just to mention i have 3G network but no wifi at present.

Try resetting the iPad. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears and see if the loading icon is still there.
If that doesn't work, try deleting the app from the iPad and then sync it again. Delete the app by syncing with iTunes and deselect the app.
While your iPad is connected to your computer and iTunes is running, select your iPad on the left side bar, click on the apps tab in the iTunes window on the right, Uncheck the box next to the name of the app and then sync (click on apply) to remove the app from the iPad. Restart the iPad - hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears, then slide to shut down, hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears to start up.
Then connect the iPad to the computer again and go through the same process except this time select the app and click on apply to put it back onto the iPad.
See if that doesn't remove the loading icon.

No broadband connection since upgrade to 20mb

Since being upgraded to 20mb broadband I cannot get on the Internet. My line tests ok, all the lights on my hub are green, and I have had an engineer visit and we did a connectivity test, the result showed all ticked except the DNS authorisation. The engineer stated that this was an ongoing problem in our area with a few customers affected. He said the problem has not been sorted out yet and some customers have had no broadband for 2 to 3 weeks with no solution in sight. Has any one had this problem and if so who did you contact to sort the problem out.

IPad stuck with the pop-up: "Application Over 20MB"

My iPad is stuck.
The pop-up window "Application Over 20MB" appears.
Pressing the OK button does not help.
iPad is unusable as the touch screen does not work because of the pop-up window.
Cannot turn it off - because I need the touch screen for the red slider.
Don't want to reset it.
Any ideas???

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

I bought the Navigon app a few months ago and when the new version 2.0 waqs downloadable, I kept getting the Item is larger than 20 MB message.

IMAP Message Alert that e-mail is larger than 20MB

I have followed all posted instructions about how to purge messages from Outlook 2013 using the Advanced Search. The IMAP alert that there is an e-mail that is over 20MB continues to repeat itself.
There are no messages anyplace among my providers that exceeds 20MB, not are there in any folders on Outlook 2013.
Is there a solution to this incredibly annoying notification?

Try to access your email account through Web-based Access and then use online search function to search the >20MB item. Could you find it?
If yes, remove it and sync between the server and Outlook client again.
If no, create a new Outlook profile and re-sync all of thing from the mailbox.
