But with these components, I have not the new abap editor at Tx Se38 -> Utilities -> Settings -> ABAP Editor
I'm using SAP GUI 710.

Ask your DBA'S or Hardware or Network administrator who hav the patches for the new GUI.
They will install/run at your system ,then u will be able to see the option in editor for
old frontend editor
new frontend editor.

Is there any possibility to create ABAP Webdyn pro application in SAP 4.6C

HI All,
My client is in SAP 4.6C version want's to devlop some SAP ABAP webdyn pro application for their end user requirement.
Is it possible to do so if yes how ,they are ready to buy the required H/W and S/W component for the same,but they can't upgrade SAP to higher version at this moment.
As per my understanding WebDynpro for ABAP is dependent on current R/3 version. For that one should have mySAP ERP 2005 I guess.correct me if i am wrong .
Need your suggestion ..

Web Dynpro ABAP is not released for official use in systems prior to SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (NW2004s).

ABAP server proxy is created for the inbound interface creted in XI's Integration repository proxy should be created in the business system for which the interface is created .

Hi,
ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) is a high level programming language created by the German software company SAP. It is currently positioned as the language for programming SAP's Web Application Server, part of its NetWeaver platform for building business applications. Its syntax is somewhat similar to COBOL.
The ABAP programming language was originally used by SAP developers to develop the SAP R/3 platform. It was also intended to be used by SAP customers to enhance SAP applications customers can add custom reports and interfaces, and enhance user experience, with ABAP programming. This 4GL is fairly easy to learn for programmers but is too complex for ordinary users. High-level programming skills are still required to create ABAP programs.
ABAP remains the language for creating programs for the client-server R/3 system, which SAP first released in 1992. As computer hardware evolved through the 1990s, more and more of SAP's applications and systems were written in ABAP. By 2001, all but the most basic functions were written in ABAP. In 1999, SAP released an object-oriented extension to ABAP called ABAP Objects, along with R/3 release 4.5.
SAP's most recent development platform, NetWeaver, supports both ABAP and Java.

It has a list of the algorithms, which are pretty disappointing, I must say. No Random Forests? No ensembling methods? Given that it's using R algorithms, I must say this is a missed opportunity to beat products like SPSS and SAS at their own game. If SAP were to include this functionality, they would be the only BI vendor capable of having a serious predictive tool integrated with the rest of the platform.... but this looks pretty weak.
I can only hope a later release will remedy this - or maybe the SDK will allow me to create what I need.
As things stand, I could built a random forest using this tool, but I would have to use a lot of hardcoded SQL to make it happen. And if I wanted to go down that road, I could use the algorithms that come with the Microsoft/Oracle software.
Please let me be wrong........

What levels of Acrobat are needed to use forms created in Acrobat Pro 9? I want to use my form as a job ticket but want to know what levels of adobe reader are needed for the end users to be able to fill out & submit the forms without any problems.

Reader 7 and higher should be able to fill out forms and submit if the pdf format allows Reader 7 to fill out the form. However, without problems is a different issue. Submission of forms via email is ALWAYS a problem. It is always better to post the form on a website and have the form filled out on the web and have the data stored or sent to a database for further action.

If both want to go hand in hand and if we want to do more practise, where can i find a source of abap programming questions (like codechef for java,c,c++..). Bcoz understanding new concepts require practise and to creating programs to practise is a really difficult.

Do the SAP course (BC400 - 5 days - it is a great course) and then practice practice practice.
The language itself is not difficult, but finding your way around the SAP system can be challenging.
Try to do real-life examples.

Hi, only just joined the forum, i run a large pc/laptop/gps reail repair outlet in es***, uk, I'm (for my sins) a microsoft ex employee and left 13 yrs ago to go it alone.

At what level do we get customisable avatars?

I like the customisable avatars that the experts are showing. What level do you have to reach to get that privilege?

Don - been on the same level for quite a while now. I'm on 600 points. I think on the old forum format, it was Level 2, but since the new format came up I'm on 3.
likeabird - I did have a photo in the profile and selected it, but I still was getting the currect avatar showing up on posts, so I deleted it. Is that where the image should be set? In the photos boxes?

Can i DBA login as SYSTEM or SYS user? or he should have separate account to do all the activities..

I have no direct experience with development for Macs, but based on my experience on other platforms, I'd use lower optimization and symbol removal early in the debugging process, increasing those as the program becomes more stable.
