Upadte from 4.3 to 4.3.1: reduced battery time

This is nuts! Yesterday morning I updated to 4.3.1 and before the day was over, my 3Gs's battery was also "over" (from 100% to 12%). In airplane mode, that is. Phone not used, at all. Last night, recharged it (to 100%). This morning, battery was completely flat! Still in airplane mode. WTH?
Any people out there with similar results? Feedback greatly appreciated.

Hi This is Kamil
I am from Turkey.
When I updated to 4.3 I was horrified by the battery life. Once researching I found this post and I was able to stop the connection only after signing out of the AppStore as suggested previously in this thread battery was normal again, no push connection in netstat.
I updated the iPhone to 4.3.1 and now I cannot stop the push connection.
After the 4.3.1 signing out of the AppStore does nothing, the connection still appears.
I don't use push, I don't want push, but it seems like theres now way to turn it off.
I have tried step by step everything you can do to turn off push. Even my own procedures.
The first charge on 4.3.1 I was greeted with a 77% battery drop after full charge. Went from 100% to 23% in 9 hours 25 minutes with 14 minutes usage. All in standby while I slept. So i turned off the email accounts and charged. After the second charge it seems better, but I'm losing battery as if I use push (I don't use push in anyway and now I have to mention ping too) nor do I want it forced on me now. So I decided to restore the phone to confirm it's not just my app and stuff. I deleted 4.3.1 ipsw and re-downloaded for good measure.
Restored as new I have no email accounts, no apps installed, disabled push, disabled ping, connect to wifi like I always was before, turned off bluetooth (unlike I do, was always on with no battery effect), notifications doesn't show up in settings so it suppose to be off.
After the first 4 hours I had lost 24% in standby so push must still be on. So I downloaded netstat again and checked the connections, sure enough push was still there.
Even when rebooting an imapi connection appears with the push connection, then disappears soon after. (funny considering I have no email accounts) maybe it's netstat maybe it's not, but I think the software is bugged somewhere. Bye the way if you turned off all wifi and 3G it is much better but you should to use your iphone like as normal phone without wifi and 3G !!!!
There is no way you can't tell me this is not the software.
Sorry for the rant style post.
