Upadting all articles at the same time?

is there a way of upadting all articles at the same time? I have like 64 articles in one folio and I dont see a way of updating them in the folio builder all at once, I have to click on every article and choose update in the Folio Builder, then wait, then click on another, update and wait....

That will definitely be a relief
BTW, when I import several articles, I sometimes lose the links to internal pages inside articles ("go to page 3"). Is that a known issue?
Updating articles is the cure, but it's a pain when I have to do that 25 times...

Unfortunately, the team hasn't added an Update All feature. I believe this is planned for the February release.
If you have your folders and files set up properly with a sidecar.xml file, consider deleting and re-creating the folio.

As you may have noted from the list of Apple devices I own, I believed in the Apple and the products it was producing; but it is hard to believe from my experience and the other voices within the Apple Community that we are all experiencing the same hardware issues. Especially since I recently, I upgraded to an IPhone 4g (no, my faith in IPhone 5 series is very little) and is experiencing the same audio problem as described above. So now, I am off to the Apple store again to be told that it’s a hardware problem on new IPhone. Really? Apple, what happen to the pride in the product you were producing?

Everyone does things a little differently. I love to "jam " along with iTunes ( or old Lp's) . Always have. That's where/how I've learned to play .
I'm sure leonieDF is giving a proper way to jam along on a keyboard with an iTune. He blows my mind all the time with what he knows. Nuff respects to him !
What I do is make a GB project I call "Jam With". I'll make several new tracks that are blank. Just has a few instruments named in the blank tracks. You can change those per song ...
Because I'm not concerned about changing the pitch / key.... of the iTune or the tempo ... I can simply play along with it.

How to change drill filter values of all reports at the same time

Hi,
The Webintelligence users in our environment usuallly use drill filters in their document's reports. We'd like to find a way to change the drill filters' values of all reports when one value is selected. I mean, we need a work around to change the drill filters of all reports at the same time.
We are using Business Objects XI 3.1 (a lot of webintelligence documents available, over than 2500).
Does someone know a way to do that? I've already looked for that a lot, but I couldn't find anything.

Why do all documents get the same time stamp?

All files show the same creation time, 19.21, even those created today before that time. I have a new PowerBook Pro 17" running 10.6.8.

Go to System Prefs > Language & Text > Formats. In the Times section, click Customize.
Everything in the four lines at the top should be "elements" dragged from the lower section, not actual numbers.

How to display all layers at the same time?

I have created several theme based FOIs with a checkbox to set visible them. Each theme has some data and when you click in the theme region it displays this data in an information box. But when I set visible more than one theme, can only display the information box of the last one theme that I set visible (the others are not clickable because they are under the last no?). Is there anyway to make all of them clickable at the same time?
For each theme that I create I call this function:

Can I have the dock show up on all monitors at the same time

As the topic beckons ... is it possible to have the dock show up on all connected monitors at the same time ?
Currently I have a setup with 2 external monitors apart from the main iMac monitor. Both external monitors are connected via thunderbolt and I'm running MacOS 10.9.4.
I know I can get the dock to appear on any of the external monitors by hovering with the mouse on the secondary/tertiary monitors where the dock "should" be, after a few seconds the dock appears. However I'm looking to have the dock present at all times on all monitors, with each monitor running separate spaces, nothing mirrored or duplicated.

If you want this split screen thingy for a single app, do like captfred suggests or see if the app itself supports some sort of splitting, like MS Excel.

Two effects concurrently? all together. at the same time?

So- I'm trying to have three effects happen at once. quick Fade in- outline float - then slow fade out.
the fade in is the only thing that looks how i want it to. it fades in evenly all at once. The fade out fades from screen left to screen right. is that because I have it as a long-long slow fade? Can I make it fade all at once instead of left to right?
I'm having the text fade and after a few seconds of fadeing the outline float kicks in. so both efects are supposed to happen at the same time. am i asking too much?
I made the outline white, so I should be able to see it flow upwards. thats not the case when I import to fcp. but i do see it happen in the canvas window in live type. Is there something else I need to do in order to see this effect?

DaNam and Bogie offer solid advice.
And it's the cancel out message from Bogie that doesn't allow you to have the white outline float up.
To achieve that you need to select your text in the timeline.
In the Inspector click on the Style Tab then Outline and click the Enable box. Then change the color to white and this will allow your outline to be white in both LT and FCP.

Process file after file / not all files at the same time

Hi There,
i have a new Problem with our XI Systems.
We process XML Files.. they come in a folder on the Server.. from there the Engine takes it and processes the message.
This works so:
In the folder /xyz/ comes a XML File... File1.xml
After 2 Minutes the XI System takes the messages and proccess it. The Engine then move the file to Folder /archive/
Another two minutes later a new file comes in to the Folder /xyz/ File2.xml
File2.xml change now data that comed with File1.xml
and two minutes later the Engine processes the message
and so on and on....
My problem is now.. when i put File1.xml and File2.xml in the Folder /xyz/ at the same time.. the Engine processes the Messages at the same time.. and inconsistencys comes into my system.
So what i want is:
I Put File1.xml and File2.xml into the same folder.. then the Engine comes and Process first File1.xml and when this finished the System proccesses File2.xml
Do you know what i mean?
Eventually someone has a solution for my question?

i have an issue regarding background job.i have to run multple programs in background one after another in one program.so i am using function modules job_open,submit and job_close.
my problem all the jobs are statrting at same time .but i want to run after completion of first job second job should start.

When using multiple tables in different sheets is it possible to delete cell/rows on all tables at the same time?

I have recently changed from Excel to numbers and i can't work out how to change cells. I have a sheet for each month, on that sheet i have all my outgoings on a daily basis. Those cells are the same in every table. In Excel i could hold shift and click the tab for each month and then change the information in all those cells. Can i do this in Numbers, if so how?

This is not a feature of Numbers.

Renaming all photos at the same time

Hi - just had a quick question about organzing all your pictures. I have multiple folders from the same trip -- and want to have them all in one folder but cannot do this because I do not know how to rename the whole batch at once...ex: China (1), China (2), China (3)...like a batch change. Vista lets you do this by selecting all the photos (with different names) and right clicking then selecting "rename" this then allows an entire batch change of the highlighted photos.
I tried this with iphoto and it worked -- but when I tried to stick them into a folder it told me there were replicas, meaning the actual properties of the picture name didn't change outside of iphoto...
Does someone know how I can rename all my photos at once so I don't have folders with subfolders?
