Update 3.0 Bluetooth??? WHY NOT????

Why is Bluetooth not available to transfer files of all kinds to other mobile devices? Software is not complicated to make! if Iphone (Apple) can come up with 1,000 new updates then its slightly annoying and embarrassing not to have a bluetooth transfer program!
Iphone 3G sales will lower or be ignored solely because bluetooth is not available! Apple say that the iPhone 3G is 5 years ahead of any other mobile device but obviously not with no bluetooth!

I disagree.
1. The sales for the iPhone have been great (statistically), and there has been no BT transfer for 2 years
2. Apple doesn't even allow file transfer via USB Except iPhone sync via iTunes. Apps that do transfer via WiFi have all the files in a walled garden. If you want access to those files, the transfer app has to provide the viewer/player. BT transfer would suffer the same fate.
Apple did this for security reasons.
USB file transfer would be useful to me, but i can live without it.

Yes i'm back on here to voice a few concerns..
Firstly i've noticed a lot of threads on here regarding bricked phones when people have innocently been using NSU to upgrade the firmware on there phones.
I also have a similar experience with an N70 - went to upgrade through NSU, its downloaded the update, and whilst applying it, the pc said no phone connected (even though there was nothing near it), so i ended up with a goosed phone, with no way of updating it or reverting back to the original firmware...
So why don't Nokia include a mechanism in NSU which as part of the upgrade process Backs up the current firmware before updating. If it fails, then a least NSU could reapply the original one.
How about Nokia implement a Memory Card solution (for the phones that support it), avoid cable probs altogether, and include an image which you can transfer onto a Memory Card and update the firmware that way?
Come on Nokia, Connecting people is your logo, yet your NSU is disconnecting the same people good and proper...

Good point there, but I personaly think that a FW backup/rollback implementation like you mentioned would be a lot trickier to realistically implement, since after the updates are downloaded and firmware flashing is started, nokia really has little to no control of what happens in between the flashing part and the "phone dying" part. ;p
Also, isn't it detailed in the NSU instructions somewhere that firmware cannot be rolled back to a previous version? But, it can be done at a Care Point (with special equipment, I presume).
Not even the other phone manufacturers can do the same at this time (i.e. software-controlled FW rollback).

I thought it was to keep all calendars in sync no matter what device was used. What am I doing wrong? It appears you can only go one way, iCloud to PC unless you turn off Icloud on PC and reload PC entries.

Your newest update says 10.6 and higher, I have a 10.8 Mac, but it won't update your newest Firefox, why not.

I turned on the computer this morning, clicked firefox, it showed a new update for firefox. I clicked update, it read my computer's operating system is not the correct version. I believe it says the system has to be at least 10.6, I have a 10.8, what is the problem? Thanks Glenn

Your scummy Firefox hangs when it arbitrarily decides to update its version. Why not have it send a popup message warning the user so they can close gracefully and safe their work?

Have you considered the Flash update which was released a few days before the Firefox 3.6.14 update may be a big part of this problem?
Try re-installing the 10.1 r102 version of Flash and see how it Firefox is.

I updated my iphone 4S to 7.1.1 and now WIFI and Bluetooth do not work.

I updated my iphone 4S to 7.1.1. Immediately after doing this, my wifi is greyed out, (cannot even turn it on), and my bluetooth is not working at all. I have discussed with Apple several times and even went to an apple service center. They claim that I have a HW issue and that I must pay $200 for another phone. HAving been a cell phone HW designer for 15 years, I know this is not true. If this is a HW issue, it was caused by the FW update. There is a problem with my phone that is a direct result of the FW update. If I could go back to the previous version, I could prove it but there is no way for me to do that. So, it looks like iphone has released an update that "breaks" some phones. What an easy way to force people to pay them $200 for a new phone. Hmmm, if other electronic manufacturers catch on to this, we are screwed. Apple has seen the issues on the internet and has seen the issues reported on thier own Communities. They know that many people are reporting the same problem. If I can look it up, anyone can. They know that they have screwed up. So instead of biting the bullet and fixing what they broke, (peoples phones), they are taking advantage of the opportunity to make more money by telling people that they have a HW problem that they are not responsible for and that it is going to cost $200 to fix what Apple has screwed up. Just let me go back to the previous version of the IOS and my phone will work again. Is anyone else having this same issue? Has Apple lost it? I have been more than pleased with my phone. I have been thrilled with customer support. What is going on with apple? Samsung is looking better every minute.

Even if it is a hardware problem they should fix it regardless of warranty. If you buy a car and after 1.5 years the doors fall off due to a failure in their design and construction, do you think the car manufacturer could pull off what Apple is trying to do? Yes the car still delivers its primary objective of driving from A to B, but significant functionality has been lost due to their fault.
It is the same with this iPhone wifi problem. Apple are a disgrace, I have had significant Apple Hardware failures with my MacBook Pro and iPhone within 2 years of purchase. Pathetic quality.

Bluetooth still not working in Mercedes with 2.1 update

I downloaded the 2.1 update. Unfortunately bluetooth still does not work in my 2008 Mercedes E320. I had no problem with the old iphone software. Any suggestion out there.

Yes, I was hopeful too, but alas bluetooth HFP adapter (late 2006 CLK) won't download contacts into the COMAND system. You can still make and take calls though (but you don't know who's calling, as there's just a number on the COMAND screen).
For all those at Apple that keep insisting this is a Mercedes hardware issue, let me say this slowly... Software 1.1.4 + iPhone + Merc HFP adapter: worked fine. Software 2.0.0 onward + same iPhone + same Merc HFP adapter: no contacts in COMAND. COME ON! GET IT SORTED! (or maybe Apple are in bed with Merc, BMW etc who interestingly have recently released dedicated iPhone adapters?!?!).
I suggest if you've got an EDGE iPhone: 1) Heep hold of it, 2) DON'T upgrade it from 1.1.4, or 3) HACK it back to 1.1.4!

The devices you mentioned are symbian S60V5. These cannot be upgraded to Nokia belle or such. They have hardware limitations.
