Update 7.0.4 deletes all my music.How to get them back?
I just updated from iOS 4.3.3 to iOS 7.0.4(Yeah its my first time updating since I updated it).Being aware that some users are having problems with disappearing files I sync my apps and musics and made a backup thrice.I went ahead to install the update however before it it said that I need yet to sync so i started another sync(yeah it transferred all my stuff there).After that i went to update however after update my apps were still there but no music!Even in the purchased tab of Itunes!I went to backup directly but it said it wasnt compatible(which is pretty obvious because of the verson gap ),Pls anyone have a solution for this?i really want my music back!
Installing iOS updates does not remove anything from the device.
The user restoring the device as new or running the update on a computer that the device has never been synced with.
All apps and media should be in iTunes on the computer.
Connect the device.
Select the content desired to sync.
Sync.

If Viber messages are included with your iPhone's backup and I believe they are and your iPhone's backup was updated to include the messages prior to the messages being deleted, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup. Do not update your iPhone's backup prior to doing so.
Have you checked Viber's customer/technical support via Viber's website? -
My purchased apps are all gone. How to get them back?
as above. I can still find them on my purchase history but they are not on my purchased list. That's so weird. I have checked if I can re-download them which dont work. I dont want to purchase any of them again. Please help.

Updated to IOS 5, contacts,photos etc all gone.How to get them back??
While updating to IOS 5, was ask 4 backup pw, keyed in apple id pw(the only pw I know) but was prompted wrong pw then phone stop @ setup screen. Even when I off and on the phone, it's still at the setup screen. Inorder to get out of the screen, I click update as new iphone then now my contacts, photos, messages etc all gone. How to get them back??
i had the same problem and i had to completely restart my ipod. when you plug it into the computer go on itunes and click on your ipod icon. THe ipod menu should be there (summary) click on the restore button. it worked for me, all the best i hope it works for you.

I deleted notes on my mac but did not want them deleted from iPhone but after synching they are all done. Can I get them back?
Deleting on one device does not affect another device.
You can delete the App's on the iPhone and nothing will happen to the ones on the iPad.
1. You don't need to.
2. Settings->Cellular->"Use Cellular Data For" will show the data usage for each App since the last statistics reset
3. Settings->General->Background App Refresh Will show which Apps are allowed to get data in the background
4. It restricts it to Wifi. If the App requires internet access and Data is turned off, it will have to wait until the device is connected to a wifi network.
5. Nope, You just use up battery since the BT radio will continuously look for nearby BT devices.
6. The Personal Hotspot uses your cellular internet connection from your phone or other cellular device; whether you consider that secure or not I cannot say. It also depends on what you are doing while connected to the Hotel's wifi. I would not do online banking while on vacation though. -
I downloaded a cheap PDF editor and it converted all my PDFs to their software. Then when I deleted it, I cannot open them in the Adobe format any longer. Please let me know how to get them back!
It's important to understand that when this sort of thing happens files aren't "converted" at all.
In Windows and Mac, there is just one app (program) that it run when you double click a type of file. There's an app for Word documents (Microsoft Word). There's an app for PDF files. So all that happened is that you installed an app which can open PDF files.
Nothing changed in the files. You can still open them the traditional way if you forget double click - start the app, use Open from the File menu. -
all my pictures in iPhoto got deleted and i don't know how to get them back so could anyone help me with that ??
We do need more information to help. Are the images gone from your iPhoto library, or is the iPhoto Library missing? How and when did this happen?
If images are missing from the library: Did you check for hidden photos? Did you check the iPhoto Trash?
If the pictures are still in the iPhoto Trash, open the Trash, select the images and and press the liitle arrow in the lower right corner - select "Put back".
If the pictures are still in an "iPhoto" folder in the system Trash (with sub folders named by date), import these folders to your iPhoto library.
Have you checked, if you have opened the correct iPhoto Library? Launch iPhoto with the options key held down, to select another Library.
If the entire Library is missing, have you searched for ".photolibrary" with spotlight?
Do have a backup?
If none of these easy measures helps, report back with more details - your iPhoto version, and anything else that might be helpful to find out, what the problem is. Don't do anything that changes the contents of your hard drive for now.

All of my titles, themes and generators seem to be completely missing from Final cut pro x. Do you know how to get them back?
Do you mean that when you click the title browser, for example, nothing is there?
Do you at least see several categories listed in the effects browser?
First make sure that you have nothing typed into the search box (not even spaces).
If you still see nothing, try this in order:
1) Window->Revert to Original Layout
2) Quit FCP X, delete preferences using Preference Manager (a free download from Digital Rebellion)
3) Download FCS Remover, and use it to completely remove FCP X. This will NOT delete your content, just the application.
4) Reinstall FCP X from the Mac App Store: log in with the same Apple ID that you used to buy FCP X, click on "Purchases", locate FCP X and click Install. -

My computer was hacked using a softbank pocket wifi, I had to install an earlier version of the disc provided for my mac reset my user password and I still need to recover my administrator password that was altered. I have lost all of my applications already existing on my mac including iPhoto, and all other applications. I am wondering how to get them back? I am in Japan and I have proof of purchase in my iTunes, but on my computer all the allplications are blocked. I have no idea what to do to get them back. It is very annoying.
