    Brauche dringend fachkundigen Rat:

  • Crystal report not showing correctly in firefox after windows update

From the past six months, crystal reports has been displayed without the print toolbar and the formatting is completely lost in firefox. Previously we found that when we uninstall the windows updates KB2836942, KB2836943, KB2836946, KB2836947, the problem is resolved. But with more and more windows updates that are automatically updated on the servers, it is getting practically impossible to track which windows update creates the problem. There is absolutely no issue in Chrome, IE and Opera; it is only with firefox that this problem occurs; so we feel it is more of a firefox issue than a windows update problem. It is not just in one machine, but we found the same issue at all our customer's servers (more than 10). The servers are a mix of windows 2008, windows 2012 with iis 7. We also observed the same problem on windows 7 machines. We have been recommending firefox as the best browser for our software to all our customers, and with this problem cropping up, we are badly handicapped. Kindly let us know how to sort this issue. We have provided the link below for your perusal. When you open it in chrome it works fine, but on firefox it does not display correctly:
    http://54.209.141.3/Reports/Report.aspx?reportname=RptProductWiseSalesDetails.rpt&paramlist=@FromDat,01/01/2011;@ToDat,01/26/2014;@BranchSlno,1;@FranchiseSlno,1;@FirstCol,B;@DateType,B;@SaleChannel,A;@ProductTypeSlno,0;@ProductSlno,6;@ColorSlno,0;@FinancierSlno,0;@ChannelTypeSlno,0;@ChannelSlno,0;@SalesPersonSlno,0;@SaleStatus,L;@BillingType,A;@LoginUser,admin;@LoginBranch,Keerthi%20Triumph%20Bangalore;@Franchise,Triumph;@AddCustomerDetail,0;@SaleCodeSuffix,&loadfromsql=0

Those four updates all relate to the .Net framework, and involve how an ASP.Net application recognizes different browsers.

  • Crystal Reports 10 Datasource Location and SQL Query update

I am running Crystal Reports 10 accessing SQL Server 2008 database on Windows 7. Our product changed database names and I'm trying to update reports to point to the new database. Sounds nice and simple. The database has no structure changes yet, it's just a copy and rename of the old database. Both databases exist, same SQL instance, same permissions, etc. ...
    Existing working report:
Has an ODBC (RDO) location to database DbVersion1
If I run Show SQL Query, the database name is in the query text (i.e. FROM DbVersion1.dbo.MyTable)
    Attempted:
In Set Database Location popup, I created a new ODBC (RDO) connection to database DbVersion2
Updated Current Data Source for report to this new ODBC (RDO) connection.
Ran Verify Database. Popup stated "The database is up to date."
But when I run "Show SQL Query", is still shows DbVersion1 in the text, and the report displays data from DbVerison1. When I display the Datasource Location for the report, it shows DbVersion2 as I changed to above. How do I "refresh" the SQL Query to recognize the new Datasource Location?
    Thanks,
    Gary

    Hi Gary,
A possible couple of issues, CR 10 doesn't support SQL Server 2008 and it doesn't support Windows 7. We had to update CR XI R2 SP 6 and above to make SQL 2008 work. MS changed the name of their client dll so CR is not aware of the new drivers.
MDAC native driver may work but not sure....
Try OLE DB, it may work better.
    Thanks

  • Updating the existing Crystal report Visual Studio Restart

    Hi,
i am  using crystal report in my application. Now i want to update some report but when i Change the report like rearrange the field in group the
Visual Studio stop working and Restarted . I am using VS 2012 & the latest version of SAP crystal report CRforVS_13_0_9.
I also try to put the report in another single solution to change the report but it arise the same problem, i try this in VS 2010, VS 2012, VS2013.
i also try to another OS Win Server 2008 -> Win 7,  but not working. Can anyone help me..?

If you have CR from VS 2005 or VS 2008 on this computer, uninstall those. For now, uninstall CRforVS. Search for craxddrt.dll on the whole hard drive. If you find any, delete them. Now reinstall CRforVS.

  • Crystal Reports Server 2008 FP 4.1 Update did not update InfoView/Cmc ?

    Hi all,
last year I installed a Crystal Reports Server 2008. After installation I had the following version numbers:
    Server = 12.3.0
    InfoView/Cmc = 12.1.0
Now I downloaded all packages of service pack 4 and fix pack 4.1 and tried to install them in following order:
Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1 Service Pack 4 for Server Components
Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1 Service Pack 4 for Client Components
Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1 Fix Pack 4.1 for Server Components
Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1 Fix Pack 4.1 for Client Components
The installation of the server components worked fine, however the installation of the client components failed with "Base version mismatch". Now I have these version numbers:
    Server = 12.4.1
    InfoView/Cmc = 12.1.0
Is that the intended behaviour? Is there no need to update InfoView/Cmc too? I know that InfoView did not work with IE 9 before the update, so I hoped to get an update of it.
    Thanks for any info
    Joern

    Hi Joern,
Don't pay attention to the version that you get from infoview or CMC.
It never changes and will always remain 12.1.0
In order to know your BOE version, you can check it in
    CMC > Settings
In the add/remove programs, it lists the version installed
You also have a tool which is software inventory tool which list the version installed.
For clients, if you go in the folder where the .exe is, if you right click on it and select properties then you will get the version number in the version tab
I hope this will help you

  • Need help with Updating Crystal Reports XI Release 2.

I had to reload my Crystal Reports XI Release 2 and I am trying to get the software up to date.  I looked for Service Pack 1 Incremental on the Downloads and it is not available.  I tried downloading Service Pack 2 Incremental and it said I need Service Pack 1.  Is there another alternative step that I need to take?  When I tried doing the Service Pack 2 Full Build, I had to uninstall and reinstall.  Then I was not able to get to the ODBC drivers that I needed to export files.  Please advise to fix my issue.
    Thanks,
    Julie

    Hi Julie,
Download Cr SP 4 full build and then download the [DataDirect ODBC|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100008666562008E/cr_datadirect53_win32.zip] drivers.
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100011802732008E/crxir2_sp4_full_build.exe
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100013876392008E/crxir2win_sp5.exe
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100015859952009E/crxir2win_sp6.exe
Full builds require an uninstall first much much easier than updating incrementally.
    Thank you
    Don

Many of the web links on the Crystal Reports start page are now useless and direct to the general "Welcome to the SAP Support World!" page.
