Update accounts using activeSync

All,
I have a question regarding the 'update' process using activeSync.
I have an SAP HR activeSync adapter installed. On a create, the user is stored within IDM based the employeenumber fetched from activeSync. The account within IDM is not only the employeenumber but a few letters concatenated as well, e.g. XYZ012345. Now, when an update occurs on the SAP HR system, the activeSync adapter is searching for the employeenumber to match the accounts. Ofcourse, the IDM accountId is different from the employeenumber. Consequence, the update is turned into a create.
The question is, how do I make sure the activeSync process recognizes the IDM account as a matching account for the employeenumber fetched by the activeSync?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your replies, I figured out those sollutions as well and after you came up with the same ones, I thought those would be the solutions. Unfortunately, they weren't.
In contrast to the FlatFile activeSync and PeopleSoft activeSync, you can't configure a correlation rule on the activeSync properties from the SAP HR ACTIVESYNC ADAPTER. I thought, the activeSync process would automatically inherit the correlation rule from the reconciliation policy, but unfortunately it didn't.
The doc's on the lifecycle of an activeSync say the following on correlation:
ActiveSync adapters either expect the resource name to match the IdM user name, allow configuration of a �naming� attribute, or allow specification of a correlation rule (FlatFile ActiveSync and PeopleSoft Component) for matching the incoming poll record to an actual IdM user..
The first and third option are not applicable for my situation so probably I have to do something with the 'naming' attribute. Any suggestions on this one?

If you are saying that you both have iCloud accounts and use the same icloud ID, then yes, the contacts will be deleted. The idea is that all devices using the same icloud ID are kept in sync. You need to use different IDs. You can keep the same iTunes ID so you can share the songs and apps. But use different icloud IDs.

App store message, "To update this application, sign in to the account used to purchase it"???

My app store says I have updates available for iPhoto, but every time I go to update it, a message pops up saying, "To update this application, sign in to the account used to purchase it". I have only ever had one apple ID account, what can I do???

And the 3 apps are iPhoto, iMovie, and Garageband; which all came on the MacBook Pro when I bought it.
What happened likely is someone restored their iLife on the machine or you purchased the machine used with someone else's iLife still on it.
Since you don't have their AppleID, you can't update it. All AppStore software is copy protected.
This can occur if you bought a machine aware or unaware it was a "open box" or "used" and someone wiped the drive and reinstalled iLife with their AppleID not knowing it can't later be updated or trying not to let anyone know it's a used machine, thus having to drop it's price.
The purchaser then figures it out later that it's a used machine, have to pay for the iLife now.
You should complain to who you bought the machine at, they owe you iLife cost at least.

Trying to update my Apps and is tells me to sign in with account used. I only have one account and it shows up on my updates. What do I do?

Did this. However, it didn't have an okay button to confirm change. Went back to general pointing and clicking and then ALL of a sudden, App Store opened up with two of my updates. They download completely. There was nothing I did, but appears to be done. Thanks for your help!

This may sound crazy, but download any free app. This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

Error while updating account dim

I get the below error while updating the Outline Account Dim.This error occurs only when updating account dim. It does not happen with other dimensions. So it doesn't seem to be the connection being down. If we recycle the analytics server. But we are not able to find out the actual cause for this issue.
Error message:
Cannot build dimension. Analytic Server Error(1042017): Network error: The client or server timed out waiting to receive data using TCP/IP. Check network connections. Increase the NetRetryCount and/or NetDelay values in the ESSBASE.CFG file. Update this file on both client and server. Restart the client and try again
Additional information
Account is defined as dense dimesion with 1800 level 0 members. We are updating this using rules file.

There is probably something in your dim build source file that Essbase doesn't like and isn't giving you a good error message. Did this dim build work in the past and you recently added something to it?
Try excluding certain columns like member properties and data storage just to see if you can get the members to load. Then slowly bring back in the other columns to see if you find the one that has the problem. Similarly try keeping all the columns but just try loading one record and see if it succeeds, this will help you start to narrow down if it is a load rule or source issue. Other option is to create a new load rule, perhaps there is something wrong with the one you are using.
Unfortunately there is no magic bullet here, you just have to work through small samples to try and isolate what the problem is.

I have an active existing iTunes store account and use the same Apple ID for signing into my iTunes Connect Account that distributes Apps.
I have created some books using the iBook author and in order to distribute content on the iBookstore I have been told electronically that I need a new Apple ID and password that is different to iTunes store account which I have already activated and completed contracts, tax information and bank information valid until 2013?
I want to create a Paid Books Account using the same email address, tax information and bank information. This has been most frustrating, as I cannot get passed the sign in section and there is no contact person I can speak to. I was of the understanding the iTunes connect account and the Developer programs which I paid good money for is all what I needed to be paid for selling iBooks on the iBookstore???
I only have one email address and wish to also use it for the Paid Books Account. I have books ready to be exported and published.
I am also having trouble locating and downloading iTunes Producer. I understand I need to have the Paid Books Account active to access the iTunes Producer program. Please help.

Hi Lrwill,
If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

Insert Or Update Task Using Web Service

I am facing difficulty in insertion of task against Account object using Oracle web service. Whenever I tried to insert new record in List of Task field of Account and update Account, I get the exception
"No user key can be used for the Integration Component instance 'Account'.(SBL-EAI-04397)"
as UserId does not exist in already present record. When i tried to update the field with already existing UserID, record of task of that particular UserId updated. Can anyone tell me how can we add task in the particular record through web service in oracle crm on demand? There is a wsdl named Account Task present in Data Loading. Do we require that wsdl to implement this work? If anyone has done this work, please update me with their solutions.

After a while I found out, that the SOAP message format "Document/Wrapped" was the problem.
I setup RPC/Literal in my jDeveloper and then it worked.

you are not mentioning what kind of authentication (WPA-Enterprise, WPA-PSK,..) are you using for your wifi network. That could be related to RADIUS accounting feature (in case of WPA-Enterprise with RADIUS accounting enabled/checked) but I am not sure.
But nevertheless of that I hope this is just information that:
Some client wanted to authenticate to your network, but it fails. This resulted to explicit deauthentication of that client by your WAP (regardless of fact if client was really authenticated or not at beginning). Forced deauthentication makes sense for example in case, that client was successfully connected to your Wifi, but it fails to reauthenticate (yes, every client is challenged to reauthenticate regularly after defined period of time) for some reason - in this case forced deauthentication ensures that user will get kicked off from your Wifi network. That's my explanation of second Log line.
First line is just triggered action resulted "deauthentication" process - i.e. gather accounting statistics of that client. But in your case it fails, because that client was never really connected to your Wifi network and thus there are no records in statistics table for him.

Updating FK01 using LSMW

Hi Experts,
I need to do an upload for vendor master in transaction FK01.
I cant use the batch recording method since i come across problems while trying to upload the "wtihhold tax information table". So when I use the direct input method , using program RFBIKR00, I see that it is probably for transaction xk01. Do correct and direct me further on that if I am wrong.
My question is, that is there any way of updating FK01 using LSMW? I am unable to find an existing thread on this.

Probably RFBIKR00 supports XK01 because it's the global transaction, FKO1 loads accounting master data only, that means the same operations you need to do by FK01 can be done by XK01: there's the problem?

i am working on a banking system
where i am implemting a trasfer value from on account to another and i am using oracle forms i wirte the following code in when-buuton-pressed trigger:
update account set bal=bal-:value where acc_no := :acc_no1;
update account set bal=bal+:value where acc_no := :acc_no2;
commit;
i want to insert values in a auditing table so where is the best place to write the code after doing the two updates or in a after insert trigger.

but my code look like thins
in the when-button-pressed trigger:
update account set bal=bal-:value where acc_no := :acc_no1;
update account set bal=bal+:value where acc_no := :acc_no2;
commit;
so if after the commit and before the post-update trigger is executed the databse went down so the when-button-pressed trigger is exuted but the post-update will not be executed

Sign in with account used to purchase apps

I am trying to update apps in the App Store on my Mac. It keeps saying "please use account used to purchase app" - i only have the one account which i used when I purchased the Mac. How can I find out which account was used to purchase an App? they are updates for iPhoto, numbers etc.

Asked and answered dozens of times. Do a search on updating the prebundled/preinstalled iLife apps and you will find the solutions offered before.

Endless "Update Account" Loop

I'm using iTunes 9 with Windows Vista. Whenever I try to sync my iPhone with iTunes, I get a popup window that says, "You Need To change your account to use an Apple ID. To continue using the iTunes store, you must update your iTunes account by choosing a free Apple ID." And then I'm offered two selections: UPDATE ACCOUNT or CANCEL.
It doesn't matter which one I click on because the popup disappears for a second and then reappears. I can't sync my phone. I can't do anything! Help, please.
