Update are showing different languages

Hi All,
I am using SCCM 2012 SP1 in our environment and I have pushed patches and it was nice patching done. but when in am checking in programs and features is showing me that Microsoft report viewer language pack are install in different languages. Please help
me to find out the reason behind this. Why these updates showing in system.

Yes. I seem to have fixed it, but not really. I erased all music from phone, and then manually managed a resynced eveything I wanted back on there. Interstingly, it didn't work the first two time and said (waiting to make changes) so I was freaking out. But the third time was the ticket and now we are good. Unfortunately, there is a bug, and until there is a real fix, my music that I have in itunes on my computer is not easy to get to the phone. It seems that many people have had the exact same issue since the updates. Hopefully it will fix itself in the next update. Thanks for help though.

The output values are showing different

the infobject of 0FISCPER listcube output and the same infoobject is showing different values in query output . Some thing is problem in this infoobject . Can any one please give the solution i will award the points.

Check the infocube contents for this field and Compare with the query result. if they are not matching then.
Use RSRT tcode to debug the Query and trace the value of 0FISCPER.
Note: Check the transformation (update rule) for 0FISCPER. see whether the automatic TIME-CONVERSION is used. it it is used then the system will convert the value.

Deselected (unchecked) windows updates are showing in offline updates wizard summary

I unchecked those Internet Explorer 11 installation and updates when filtered to do the offline updates of the wim image. After I clicked next, I see them in the Summary
section. I went through all software updates area and ensured they're not the member of any already created updates group. They some reasons still show up in the offline update wizard summary like I chose them. How do I for surely rid of those unwanted updates
from the offline updates?

This issue has been fixed by SCCM SP1 CU4.
In the Operating system deployment section:
"The wrong software update for an operating system image may be selected the list of items that are returned in the Schedule Updates Wizard is sorted."

iOS 4.2.1 is the final version of iOS that an iPhone 3G will run, so you will not be able to use any apps that require iOS 4.3 or later. There is no way to get any later version of iOS onto your iPhone without serious hacking, something we cannot discuss here.
You do not get the option to update iOS directly from an iPhone until you have iOS 5 or later.

PDA shows different language than PC version

Our portal default language is English and to my knowledge we have no other languages enabled.
When we view our portal on Pocket PC with Windows 2003 the portal shows in French.
Also, in the Safari web browser on some Macs running OS X 10.3.2 and 10.3.6 we see a language that we believe is Chinese.
Can anyone tell me where these languages are specified? Are they per user or per platform? We added the language portlet to one page, but English is the only option there.

No, not on Windows. ADE 1.7 only looks at the base language of the Windows install to determine which language to display.

ITunes 8 updated in a different language

I have been using iTunes 7 in English and just performed a software update, it is now in French. Do you think that just because I live in France it assumes I speak French?? How do I get it back to English?

Select iTunes in the Finder, choose Get Info from the File menu, and uncheck everything except English under Languages.

Hi the thing is that iOS doesn't up...And if does it only shows up Chinese. I really want to change the language to English but there is yet another problem. The thing is that the iPhone doesn't work with my Laptop and everytime I plug it in it doesn't show up. I've tried logging in but there is a thing that shows which has something to do with iOS and don't understand it because it is in Chinese. Return it for a credit. Buying things like phones and computers on eBay is not a good idea. If the person refuses to refund your money, use the eBay appeal process since you were sold something that does not work.

All updates are showing expired...

Had a problem that required an attempt to repair the SUSDB and ReportServices databases. It's complicated and might take a novel to write but in summary, I had applied CU1 and CU2 to my SCCM 2012 R2 site server (only one). Backups of those 2
DB's failed to run after this as they were stuck in suspect mode.
Anyway, I repaired the databases and decided to just remove and re-add the reporting services role and the software update role. I did not remove previously downloaded and approved updates and update packages prior to doing this.
What I found after I re-added the software update role is that all updates previously deployed are now marked as expired.
My goal is to just "reset" all of this so I can start from scratch. I don't mind re-downloading all updates and then redeploying them but since they are all marked as expired I hesitate to try without addressing that first.
I would appreciate knowing how to just reset everything and start from scratch. I did not try uninstalling WSUS and reinstalling...only removed the software update point and reinstalled that.
Any recommendations?

Looks like removing WSUS and the SUSDB as well as the Software Update role and then going through the process of adding WSUS and then the Software Update role and allowing a full sync to complete fixed the issue.
Others should take note that patience is required here... performing a manual sync and then monitoring the wsyncmgr.log file is necessary.
I may still have an issue with the ReportServer DB but I will open a new forum post to address that.

There are more and better popup and ad blockers for Firefox, than for Safari.
I use GlimmerBlocker for Safari, and it does alright, but I have three AdBlockers for Firefox and I see no popups. The occasional page will warn that it can't load because of the ad blockers, but that just tells me it's a site I don't want or need to visit.

Im pretty sure what you are looking at is Set up Assistant where it shows different languages on the slider. If I am right then just slide to unlock and follow the prompts to choose your language, country etc.

Can be done with if you use something like MS AD or LDAP for your naming service, don't think Standard Solaris can do it. Even if you of course can use the PAM framework to create a PAM module which does this, or search the net to see if someone have done it already.
Thinking of it, it might be possible in pure Solaris as well, but if it is haven't done it. Perhaps someone else knows.

possible, again, if you upgrade to Solaris 10. In Solaris 10 you can lock an account after X amount of failed login attempts by editing /etc/security/policy.conf and make sure that LOCK_AFTER_RETRIES are set to "yes".
By default this feature allows the user to try and login 4 times, after 4 bad login attempts the account is locked. The amount of retries can be set in /etc/default/login .
The time can also be set in login, sort of.
The latter file can also be used to specify when to log the failed attemt to syslog.

If you are refering to the root account; in the same way as any other account i'ld suppose. Even if you have to be more careful. The root accounts might not be used very frequently, and when you have to use them its probably an emergency..

Voice dialing in different languages

In my contacts, there are people from many different countries - their names are therefore pronounced in completely different ways. My E71 however pronounces (and recognizes) all the names according to just one language that is set up. Is it possible to somehow assign the language of voice recognition to each name separately?

I believe this is not possible. Your phone will only work on the assigned "language" that you selected. But there are many different "Language Packages" that your phone can use which might help you in your Language and might help you with the voice tag as well. You can get them here-> Text To Speech Language Packages
I might be able to help you with the "Voice Tag" name dialling though, here are some key points you can use with regards to Speaker Independent Name Dialing (SIND) that Nokia uses for all its phone. This is somewhat base on my experience.
1) LET THE PHONE TEACH YOU
listen as to how your phone's voice is pronouncing the built-in voice tag and try to mimic it, do this with the contacts the you always call, say from 3 to 5, or more depending on how much free time you have, the more the better (
2) TEACH THE PHONE
do the voice dial, as much as you can, the more that you do it, the more that your phone will also adapt yo your voice.
3) BE CAREFUL HOW YOU WRITE THE NAMES
if you have not noticed it, if you type the names is all capitals, like "ABN-AMRO" your phone will pronounce this contacts by letter, as in "A", "B", and so forth. Hence, you can actually experiment on how you are writing the names but still the key is how the phone says it, and you must mimic it as must as you can.
hope this helps, it might not be perfect, but once you got the hang of it, it will work!

Mail Stationary in Different Languages

I just bought Leopard for my Macbook and I was looking at the templates for Mail and if I open up any of the templates for, all of the words on the templates except for the titles are in different languages and I cannot even look at the template and get ideas of what to use them for. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to change everything to English? Also, I bought Microsoft Office 2008, and again, all of the templates are in a different language. If anyone could help, that would be great, thanks.
