Update attempt on iPad2 using Windows PC. Keep getting error 3004. What the **** is going on? Apple care not helping much. And I have downloaded latest iTunes version and restarted and it still says there's an iTunes update available for same version.

Your firewall or av software is screwing everything up.
Turn it off.
Straight from Apple:
Errors 3000-3999 (3002, 3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443. This may be because out-of-date or incorrectly configured security or firewall software is interfering, an old version of iTunes is installed, an entry in your hosts file redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see error 1004 above), or because of your Internet proxy settings. If you are using a proxy, try without using one or with a known-good network. If that does not resolve the issue, follow iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues. Error 3014 may indicate that you need to free up more disk space on the computer before trying to restore again. Error 3194 most likely indicates you do not have the latest version of iTunes installed Update to the latest version of iTunes.

So I have tried to update my iPod touch about 5 times now and it still says there is an error. I,ve erased all my settings and attempted to restore it, but it wont let me. I'm ready to throw it away and find a new product
Errors when updating leads to corrupt system files and this may be your problem. If you're using windows, connect your device to PC and run any third party app like Syncios. If it detects, you maybe in luck and try to back-up your data if possible. I hope that it won't and if doesn't, there is no other way to recover files. You should be restoring with iTunes and all data will be erased, or else your device may become unusable.

DeeFirst thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I keep getting error messages on the calendar since I downloaded the new software on my IPAD2. When I try to add a new event it either says "That event does not belong to that event store" or it says "the calendar has not been set". Does anyone know what these messages mean or how to address this?

When I use safari I keep getting a small coloured circular icon which in turn does not allow me to navigate at all. the only way I can get rid of it is to shut down and reboot. Can anyone help?

When I boot my computer I get error box stating "The procedure entry point _NSConcreteStackBlock could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll. I have completely removed iTunes and related programs and reinstalled them several times. Doesn't fix the issue. Any ideas on how to fix this?
You should have one copy of CoreFoundation.dll in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple Application Support or C:\Program Files (x68)\Common Files\Apple Application Support if this is a 64-bit Windows.
The detailed file properties should be as shown.
If the file you have is correct check to see if there is another copy in the main iTunes folder. If so delete it and see if that helps.
Otherwise try uninstalling/deleting folders/reinstalling iTunes again. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for more details. Your issue looks a bit like it might be a variation of the issue in the first box.
Also worth checking that you have uninstalled the MobileMe control panel and any third party software that might try to talk to iTunes.

The console shows thousands of these error messages and it's messed up many functions of my MacBook.
I have VMFusion on my Mac because for work I need to use Windows. Last night I tried installing Windows 7 but could not complete installation. I got a message saying "can not locate driver". Then I started getting the Error 586.
Today I unistalled VMFusion hoping that would resolve the Error 586. No such luck.
Can anyone help me get rid of this constant error, plesase?I believe this has something to do with Mail. Are these frequently occurring errors? If so and you quit Mail do the errors cease?

Running the Lion Os requires a MINIMUM of 2 GB of RAM, as you have. However, with that little RAM the computer will have trouble with many memory based tasks, such as copying and pasting. You really need to increase the amount of RAM your computer has in order to increase its speed and performance. Now, when a task requires more RAM than your system has available then the OS will use some harddrive space temporarily instead. This is called "Virtual Memory." Is it possible that at this time that your harddrive is very full relative to its stated capacity, so that even "virtual memory" is not really available? If that is the case, you really need to cleanup your harddrive by deleting a fair number of less used files.

I just tried to install the iTunes update 11.4.1 and keep getting error messages. I have never had this issue before over many years of using iTunes and getting updates to the software. I have removed the iTunes from my computer and reinstalled it but keep getting the errors. success.Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

Exactly the same problem ! Ruined my son's Christmas ! Can't get through apple's tech support due to high volume of calls. If you read their return policy if it's DOA(Dead On Arrival) your entiteled to a refund or exchange. Call 1800 275-2273, good luck getting through. I dont feel after spending that kind of money I should have to waste hours upon hours on downloads, upgrades and software installations and still may have problems once you get to I-tunes.They have a hugh problem here ! Hopefully they have a better consumer care policy and give people their money back ! Good Luck, AC
