Update blog from other computers?

I think I already know the answer here but...
We've created a blog on iWeb. In the near future, we're doing some traveling and will not have our Mac with us. Is there a way to update this blog via the Internet, or are we stuck using another service/format like blogger?
Part two - if we do need to use another service for our blog, does anyone have advice on easily integrating it to an iWeb created site?

I had the same question, last summer. I found a solution by using www.posterous.com. That is a site where you can publish blogs by sending emails (it also supports pictures). If your mobile phone supports sending emails or MMS, there is nothing more that you should take with you on your trip.
In order to make your blogs visible on your site, you can use a html snippet, and insert the code of the the website. Than, each blog that you send to www.posterous.com will be visible at your site.

AC is corret you can do that. It might work a bit better for you if you use a wired connection vs a wireless one for the ATV's.

Reformatted a hard drive, but it still shows up in "Tabs From Other Computers." How do I remove it?

The machine continues to be present when i pull down the menu option "Tabs From Other Computers"., even though I have not installed Firefox on the fresh hard drive. How do I remove it from the list?

Unfortunately this is not possible at this stage. If this is something that bothers you, the next time you format a hard drive or, in general, want to remove a device from that view you should "Unlink this device" from the Sync Tab in the Preferences window.
Because you can't go back to that specific profile of Firefox you can't do it, but don't worry, eventually it will disappear (the servers don't store the information forever).
If you really want to remove it, you will need to reset the account and plug all your devices again. To do so, you will need to reset the Recovery key and set up the account in your computer again. This is the process that we recommend when a device is lost. i just purchased a file that had videos in it. i put them in the itunes library on my pc where i first downloaded them. i was able to transfer them to my other pc, a laptop, through my home network. i am now trying to get them on my mac pro desktop and my ipad2. my mac pro can see the other computers on my home network but i cannot get it to connect to them. i know the operating systems are different but was hoping i could transfer pictures and files from pc to mac this way. haven't been able to get it to work yet. the videos i am trying to get my mac to see came in a folder with both mac and pc versions. i thought if i got the videos i purchased into itunes that i would then be able to get them to my mac pro and my ipad2. i am new to mac/apple and have always been pc-centric so trying to marry it all has been difficult. i speak pc pretty well but am just learning apple. am i trying to do things that are not possible? i sure could use a knowledgable friendly soul to walk me through my issues of having pc and mac on the same network. i have been able to get all computers and ipad to print on my network. thanks.

Why can't I access my mac pro from other computers

I can't seem to access files from my Mac Pro from other computers on our network. It asks for a username and password, which it says is always incorrect. Any ideas on how to fix this? We have two main workstations that need to access a single Fire Wire 800 DRobo array that's connected to the Mac Pro tower.

File Sharing must be enabled on the Mac Pro. in System Preferences > Sharing
System Preferences > Accounts > Guest account must be present and must allow File Sharing, but need not allow guest login.
Although the login pane appears on the screen of the second computer, the login it is asking for is an account and password that is valid on the Mac Pro (the computer whose files you want to share). The number of bullets in the password field is fixed -- it has no idea how long the password is. Passwords are case sensitive.

If it's a POP account and you set it up in Mail with the option to delete read messages from the server, then you can indeed no longer read it on the server. You may be able to restore the messages to the server if you also have IMAP access. Ask your mail service provider whether it's possible.

Tabs from deactivated device still show up in "Tabs from other computers"

After deactivating a device, its tabs still show up under "Tabs from other computers". How do I delete the data left over from that device?
More importantly, if I now choose to sync Preferences, will Preferences from the deactivated device be imported (which I wish to avoid)?

The records themselves should eventually disappear as they expire on the server, or you can forcibly remove them by using Reset Sync (replacing other devices) on the client whose you want to keep. There are less drastic solutions, but they require prodding at the internals of Sync through the Web Console.
If you turn on Preferences syncing, the prefs on your local device will be merged with prefs that were synced to your sync account. The only way that will include prefs from the deactivated device is if you first synced prefs from that device.

"Tabs from other computers" option in history is disabled, even though I had setup sync properly.

I had setup my sync on my ubuntu at home and windows at office and ticked the tab options to be true but when I open my FF at office I open history menu but the "Tabs from other computers" is disabled not allowing me to see tabs from my home pc.
Also in sync settings when I change the name of machine it is not getting saved.

They should show up until they're closed and that device syncs. If this is not happening,

Tabs From Other Computers Listing Old Sessions?

Hi guys.
Tabs From Other Computers displays tabs from my MacBook. They are listed as 2 separate computers with the same name. One has my current tabs the other has tabs from 6 months ago.
I deleted sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak. The old tabs are still displayed.
Any ideas?

In case its just the tags that you want to have in one catalog that is easy.From multiple computers save the tags to the xml file.Copy the xml file to the external drive where the catalog resides.From there you can import the tags into the catalog.

If I restore my iPod to factory settings, will I lose my music that has been added from other computers, even if I've backed up my iPod?

I'm trying to clean out my iTunes and iPod, and in doing so I've realized that I have over a gig of "other" material taking up space on my iPod. One solution I was told about was to restore my iPod back to it's facotry settings (after you've backed it up) in order to help eliminate or help make the "other" section take up less space. I'm worried about doing this however seeing as my iPod has music from three or four other computers on it seeing as I manually sync music to my ipod rather than have it sync on it's own. I'm worried that even if I back the iPod Touch on my computer, that all the other music from the three or four other computers and iTunes' will be erased and only music left on my iTunes, on my laptop will be left over after words. This wouldn't be such an issue if I didn't have litterally THOUSANDS of music to sort through between these four computers.
Also, does anyone have any other solutions on how to reduce the amount that "other" takes up on your iPod? Thanks in advance! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if you will loose your music or not, but I have a suggestion. If you sinc your ipod to your itunes, all the music from it should transfer to your itunes, it shouldn't matter whether it was downloaded on that computer or not. If you do this and then restore your ipod to factory settings and you do loose your music, then you can just sinc your ipod to your computer, or itunes account and then you will get your music back. I hope this helps. :)
