Update BW Bookmark - new query version

Hello,
we have the following problem:
Query x is part of web template w
w was bookmarked
Query x was updated (e.g., add a new key figure) afterwards
Now, we wish to "update" the bookmark of w so that the new key figure is also shown in the existing bookmark
We definitely do not want to replace the old bookmark with a new one since we have hundreds of bookmarks ...
Does anyone have an idea?

we have the same problem with bookmarks once the base is changed sligthly. My research so far lead to two notes which you can read. Maybe you are aware of these two already but are interesting to read.

I am not finished with my research so far but have the gut feeling the we have (or better the user have to ) create new bookmarks to solve the problems. .-(

To everyone that is having this problem:
I just ended a 2 hour session with Apple Tech Support. We had to take it to a level 2 support person, but finally got it running. Here's what she had me do. Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall ALL Apple products on the Computer. This inccluded Apple Mobile Device Itunes, Bonjour and Quicktime. I doubt if we would have had to but she had me download a fresh copy of iTunessetup.exe and run it. iTunes came up and ran on version 11.1.4. Then I reinstalled Quicktime.
It is my personal opinion that there is a flaw in version 11.1.4. You shouldn't have to go through all of these hoops just to update a single application that was working fine proir to the update attempt.

No, not without upgrading to a higher version of the Mac OS. However, the easiest thing to do is get another browser for use with sites that don't like older versions of Saari. I always have a secondary browser on any computer, Mac or PC. For our Macs, I install FireFiox alongside Safari when setting up a new computer.
As FireFox is updated sometimes weekly, YouTube should not have a problem with it.

What has been updated in each new software version...

I just updated my N95 8GB firmware to 30.0.0.18. My previous version was 20.0.016. It sounds like huge step when main number has increased from 20 to 30.
However in the software update news page, which the main topic in this discussion area "TOP questions about Software Updates - start here" refers to eg. http://europe.nokia.com/A4577225 only has a few sentences about the new features of new firmware version. (and actually only for version 30.0.0.15, see news subtitle "Nokia N95 software version 30.0.015 released " ).
I'd like to read more about the new features of 30.0.0.18 or 30.0.0.15.
In general, is there a site, where new features or improventmens of the firmware versions are documented?

Itunes won't update nano with new software version

Since the new software update has become available (which I'm hoping might fix my multiples in cover flow issue) I've tried on multiple occasions over a few days to download and install the update on my new nano 4th Gen.
It goes through the licence agreement bit and says it's downloading and will instal when it's done. However after a few minutes it gives an error message that the connection with the itunes server has timed out. It says check your connections and such but all is fine, even itunes own diagnostic connection test is all fine.
I've even tried the restore option but that just dies on it's attempt to get new software too and doesn't get anywhere.
I'm pretty good with computers but this one's now got me stumped.
Anyone got any ideas?

Are you using a dial-up or broadband internet connection? If your using a dial-up connection, that might be your problem. If your using a broadband connectin and your getting this problem, you might just want to contact technical support.

Update availability is governed by 3 things:
1. Regional Version Phones - These are the generic phones which come direct from Nokia. These receive the firmware earliest.
2. Country Variant phones - these are phones manufactured to fit certain demands by the country, like the n97 with the azerty keyboard for some parts of Europe, the 3G less 5800 for china, etc. The updates for these phones would depend on the telecommunications agency of the country if they will approve it AFAIK. So updates for these would be delayed.
3. Network branded phones - these are phones which are branded to a certain network carrier. These are usually acquired through contracts, usually along with data and postpaid network plans, with the carrier. The updates for these phones are subject to customization and approval of your network carrier, and updates for these kinds of phones may be late be a few weeks, months, or may never come.

Update iWork from newer AppStore version

I just bought a new iMac 27" and purchased Pages,Numbers and Keynotes 09 from the AppStore
How do I update these same applications from iWork 08 on my older iMac 24" without having to buy them again.

Just updated to the new software version... and lost all my music. Anyway to get it back?

So I went to update, had to clear room on my computer (it told me it needed about 28gig to compete update), it went through the whole update sucessfully, but none of my music, contacts, notes, etc. were put back except for apps. What happened? Any solutions?

- Try restoring the iPod from backup. That should get the app data, contacts and most other stuff back. Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and see if the date of the bckup would contain those items. It should be when you started the update process. Make sure that you have auto-syncing on connection (iTunes>Preferences>Devices turned off otherwise you will modify the exisiting backu to reflect the missing stuff.
- Is the the music in your iTunes library? If not it would not be on the iPod at the end of the update since it is not part of the backup but is synced for the iTunes library at the end of the update.

If you are installing the new DW on the same box as your old DW is on, you wouldn't have to redefine your sites. The new installation *should* pick those definitions up. But just to be safe, you can export all the site defs to a very safe place and if the new DW doesn't migrate them you can import the site defs manually.
