Update Data source - Refreshing to clear cash is greyed out - DPM 2012 R2 UR5

Hey guys,
I have problem with a DPM Server after updating to UR5.
The new button "refresh" within the DPM console replaced the clear button, seems to be blocked.
Or in other words.... the Cache is still active and I can't clear the Cache.
Now I see old machines they don't exist anymore and some new ones won't showing up within the console.
I couldn't find a specific cmdlt or something. Any ideas about that?
oh... btw. there's no "cacheinquiry" reg entry under configuration. Shouldn't be there anymore If I remember. (since R2)

For the Moment the Troubles are gone.
After checking a couple of other DPM 2012 R2 i could see, that the CacheInquiryResuts Key is still there (I thougth there was a change during SP1 to R2 but it turns out I was wrong) and there were heaps of cached machine stored.
What I've done:
I created the key CacheInquiryResuts under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft DPM\Configuration
After that I putted a DWORD aka REG_DWORD called InquiryResultsTimeoutInterval into it and changed the value to 1 (hour).
Now I see new fresh machines and the older one with moved storage aren't telling me error Messages about missing paths anymore.

Update data source in Crystal report

hi there
i have some CR in PROD, now they are needed to do a test in DEV first, when i refresh the report, it will prompt to ask me login, so i choose to login to DEV system, but i found some reports are not updated to the DEV, some do, i also found those reports failed to update to the DEV because they have sub reports
is there way to update data source for those reports with sub-reports when i login to DEV?

Click on Database, Set Location and choose your Database and server. Highlight the connections and click on the OK or Update button. Do this for each table also and for each subreport.

Sharepoint 2013 Excel External Data Source Refresh Issue

I have been facing this issue for quite some time now.. i have created an Excel sheet in Excel-13 and have imported data from an external data source [SQL server 2012].
Everything is working fine, with the excel sheet on the desktop. Data refreshes, every-time i open the excel file and also at regular intervals that i have configured in the data source properties.
The problem begins when i save that excel sheet on my sharepoint server. the issues that i am facing are :
1. Changes made into the original data source, are not reflected immediately inside the excel sheet inside the browser. after 5-10 minutes, it reflects the changes..
2. The data doesn't refreshes automatically. After i update my data inside the sql server table, i have to manually trigger the refresh of the data connection when viewing the excel sheet inside the browser, even though i have marked "Refresh when opening
the file", and refresh every 1 minute inside the excel sheet. Any solutions ??
I have been troubled a lot by this issue, and seek for some quick solution.. Any help here ??

I found the solution finally, my self ..
Issue - 1 : It's going to take atleat 5-minutes to refresh the data connection, that is generally not a big time span.
Issue - 2 :
--> Set Your connection to refresh everytime the file is opened. go to internet explorer -> file -> internet options -> general -> Browsing History -> Settings -> Check for newer versions of stored pages... Check 'Every time I visit the
webpage'.
Now everytime i update your original data source, wait for 5-10 minutes and refresh my web page containing the excel sheet.. The Contents of the excel sheet are updated as desired..

POJO data source refresh

I am using POJO as the data source and dynamically loading data (datbase controller) from a CSV file to the POJO to report and then exporting the reports to the different formats (pdf, rtf, etc.,) using Java code.
My question is if a report is designed already using a POJO given to me and later the POJO is changed (let us a field name is added or deleted) then how that is going to effect the report. How will we refresh that fields in a report again and add/delete the fields compatible to the updated POJO. When I try to do this, the only way I saw was to add the updated POJO again and remeove the old one. But it actually deletes the entire info of the old POJO. Is there a way that I add updated info with the old data (or info) being there in my report. Not having two POJO on my report. Instead updating the POJO in my report.

Error updating data source from SQL Server ODBC into SQL Native Client 10.0

I am converting Crystal 8.5 reports into Crystal XI release 2. The data source was ODBC using SQL Server 2000 and pointing to a stored procedure. In the new server the data source has to be ODBC again, but it uses the SQL Native Client 10.0 Driver, because the new server is SQL Server 2008. I have copied the same old stored procedure on the new server and it works fine as a data source to a brand new Crystal XI report. But when I am opening an existing 8.5 version crystal report and updating the data source to the new location I get the error message "Some tables could not be replaced, as no match was found in the new data source".
I thought I could tackle this error by creating a temporary data source using the standard ODBC SQL Driver linked to the SQL 2008 Server instead of the SQL Native Client 10 ODBC. So I first updated the crystal data source to link to this temp ODBC using SQL Driver and it worked fine. But after that, when I try to update the data source to link to the SQL Native Client 10 ODBC, I get the same error again.
So I guess that the problem is not the new server itself, but the switch between SQL Server ODBC and SQL Native Client 10 ODBC.
Does anyone know what's going on with this SQL Native Client 10 in updating crystal report data sources?

CR XI does not support that driver. Try selecting the Native driver or upgrade to CR XI R2 for free and use SP4, 5 and 6 and then FP 6.4 or upgrade to CR 2008 and SP 3 and Fix Pack 3.3

Share Data Source between multiple report projects in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services

I have a reports solution in 2012 which contains multiple report projects one each for target deployment folder and we use TFS 2012 for report deployment.
We have a template project which has a bunch of template reports and all the datasources used in different reports.
When I develop a report, I cannot "Preview" in TFS but, for deploy this used to work fine util the reports solution was in TFS 2010 & Visual Studio 2008 R2. Since we moved to TFS 2012 & SSRS 2012 not being able to deploy till I create all
the necessary datasources for each project and now all the developers complaining that they cannot develop reports in TFS itself as they cannot preview (this problem was existing previously) and now not being able to deploy as it errors for each report "Could
not find specified rds file". I tried messing around with the .rptproj file DataSources tag that did not help either by modifying it like below.

According to your description, you want to create a shared data source which works for multiple projects. Right?
In Reporting Services, A shared data source is a set of data source connection properties that can be referenced by multiple reports, models, and data-driven subscriptions that run on a Reporting Services report server. It must be within one project.
We can't specify one data source working for multple projects. In this scenario, we suggest you put those reports into one project. Otherwise you can only create one data source for each project.

Trying to update my apps...all apps are greyed out and say waiting.

..all apps are greyed out and say waiting. This has been going on for a day. I have reset my setting turned off my iPad and no changes

Maybe one of these suggestions will work. Ignore any that you have already tried.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

Ipod4 syncs music incorrectly with itunes after ios5 update. Playlists list some songs which are greyed out and wont play. Suspect they werent downloaded as Ipod now holds 16 000 songs. Previous max was 9000 songs.

I upgraded to IOS5. Now have synching problems using the USB Cable . I tried everything. Resent the Synch history in ITunes. Unticked all playlists and synched to clear all music etc of the iPod. Reticked items to synch then still have trouble. After it synchs, I see a playlist with some songs in black and some in grey. The black songs play, the grey ones don't. The same songs in iTunes do appear there and will play. I don't have any broken links in my library. Anyone know of a solution.? Synching takes forever and seems to get stuck on importing the pictures for ages. I walk away and next morning it will be finished syncing but with aforementioned problems.

Well, for one, the current version of ACR is 8.3 by now.

My iPhone updated its firmware and now my wifi is greyed out, how do I fix it?

Happened on the last update before iOS 7 and upgrading to 7 hasn't fixed it

My issue was the chip was working fine, until apple updated their firmware. Upon speaking to apple staff not one of them told me the wifi chip failed but they admitted that it was an underlying cause and the firmware update was to blame. I have taken great care of my phone but I refuse to pay to fix problems caused by the manufacturer. It's upsetting to find apple manufacture suicide switches into its technology like this as my MacBook stopped loading internet browsers after an update, again I was told I had to pay to get it fixed.

Problem in filling up the setup tables for 2LIS_11_VAHDR (All SD Data sources)

I have been trying to fillup the setup tables for SD datasources( Application-11 Ex:2LIS_11_VAHDR), but it was not allowing me to do that.
Below are the steps i have followed,
1.Deleted the setup tables using tcode-LBWG- Application-11
2.Cleared the queues in RSA7 and found 0 queues for 2LIS_11_VAHDR D.S by triggereing the I.P till it get zeroes.
3.Checked the data in RSA3-No data found.
4.Filling the setup tables using OLI7BW t-code, got a popu(Data for 2LIS_11_VAHDR has to still transfered)
Do i need clear all the queues for SD-Billings,Orders e.t.c since i have 8 data sources to be cleared apart from 2LIS_11_VAHDR .
Could you please suggest any other option to fillup the setup tables.

Did you run the infopackage twice pertaining to 2lis_11_vahdr.One for delta and another time for repeat delta.As delta queue will hold the records in repeat delta mode as well.
Also in case of Direct Delta --Data is transferred to Base tables and delta queue (RSA7) at the same time.So extraction queue (LBWG )and update tables(SM13) does not come into the picture.

Help with Updating Data Fields in Merged Document

I'm working in InDesign CS5 v7
I have a multipage report, all using one master page for about 80 seperate records. Each page has their own linked graphs/images.
We now have need to alter the source data, and while these alterations can be seen in 'Preview mode' on the Master Page, they are not carrying through into the pages themselves. No amount of 'Update Data Source' clinking changes this, and the 'Update Content Data Fields' remains greyed out...
I really don't want to have to remerge the whole document, as I will loose all of the linked graphs and images.
Can anyone help?

How to prevent data-sources.xml from being included in EAR

I cannot get rid of the data-sources.xml file in my EAR file in the meta-inf folder.
Deselecting the "Bundle Default data-sources.xml during deployment" in my preferences didn't have any effect. I also tried shutting down/restarting JDeveloper just in case it was cached.
I also tried adding an exclude filter for data-sources.xml in my deploy profile for both Web files and WEB-INF/classes.

The way I resolved this was to create the data-sources.xml, right click it, select Properties then uncheck Auto-update data sources.xml. That way it stays empty (hopefully).

Testing data sources in oc4j-ra.xml

Is there a way to test the data sources in oc4j-ra.xml from the server? I have a server sitting inside a DMZ that has access back to internal databases. The DMZ has its own set of IP addresses and it has specific openings to the internal resources it needs. that is why i would like to test the connections from the server.

Then you can see in the properties dialog, the default setting is: Auto update data-sources.xml when running or deploying to OC4J.
So when you first run the embedded OC4J, your data-sources.xml file will be updated with your connections.

Help to read a table with data source and convert time stamp

Hi Gurus,
I have a req and need to write a ABAP prog. As soon as i excute ABAP program it should ask me enter a data source name, then my ABAP prog has excute teh code, in ABAP code i have to read a table with this data source as key, sort time stamp from table and should display the data source and time stamp as output.
As follows:
Enter Data Source Name:
Then user enters : 2lis_11_vahdr
Then out put should be "Data source :" 10-15-2008.
The time stamp format in table is 20,050,126,031,520 (YYYYMMDDhhmmss). I have to display as 05-26-2005. Any help would be apprciated.
