Update Deployments not showing up on Read-Only domain controllers

At several of my remote sites, I have a server08 machine functioning as a read-only domain controller and a server share dist point. We're using a software update point to deploy microsoft patches and it's been working fine with the exception of the read-only domain controllers. When I run the complaince report, they correctly show that they need updates but the icon never appears. Clients at their sites are receving updates.
Anybody have any ideas?

We have a SCCM 2012 R2 environment and have a pretty weird issue. I have deployed multiple 'available' software packages to a collection. The non-domain controller client receives the deployments and I can run them successfully, however the domain controller

HT4623 iOs6 update does not show up on iPad2.

I am trying to add an application and it requires the iOS6 update. The update is not showing up under my settings.
HELP!

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, if you have iOS 4 then you will need to do the update via your computer's iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

All new files and folders show up as READ ONLY

I am new to the iMac, and am having problems with files an folders. My account is an administrator's account, but when ever I create a new folder, or move a file into it, it shows up as READ ONLY. This is really annoying as I am moving hundreds of files from my PC to the iMac. How do I set things up so that new folders and files are not READ ONLY? Thanks!

Seems Opportunity has a lot of problems. As in my case i am trying to code in BeforeSave method that when ever the opportunity gets create by code i have to poppulate my CUSTOM Invonved Party ( i have created custom party role ).
And i have passed partykey.partyId.content and RoleCode but when i click on save it gives me the error about Role Category!
now when debugged that all Parties ( i debugged and checked whole collection) had the Role category every party from that collection had the Role category associated!
So i tried to add r
ole category by code! but that is also public write access set as FALSE!
So finally i again opened the book for clod , and a line is specificaly written that PartyID node will not be used after 1402 there will be separate node PartyNAme where u can pass partyid , name or email!
but unfortunately that is also not available in the opportunity BO!
So i am also kind of stuck!
Btw one thing i would like to mention is when u try to maintain your custom role in opportunity manually it works and data gets saved!

When we try to update or Exchange 2013 CU3 environment to CU7 we get some errors when we try to prepare ad.
It fails at 98% with an error:
[2] [ERROR] Save() is not supported on a read-only object.
[2] [WARNING] An unexpected error has occurred and a Watson dump is being generated: Save() is not supported on a read-only object.
We have checked all the security settings with our test environment where it is working. Running command prompt as an admin and we have all necessary domain rights. Also checked alle the objects with Adsi edit, but no difference with our test environment.

Once Terminal is running use this command followed by hitting the return key.

Help with a fcpx library that is locked "could not be opened. Read-only file system"

Hi all,
I recently moved all my fcpx projects/events to a new Harddrive - I thought I did this correctly by copying/duplicating all projects/events from within FCPX.
When I last used FCPX all the projects/events were there - no issues. Also, when I look at package contents - everything is still there in terms of events and file sizes.
All the library files are on an external hard drive, on an encrypted disk image. Now a week later I have tried to open FCPX and I get the following error
"The document “MND_Z_FCPX” could not be opened. Read-only file system" and nothing will open.
Have checked permissions - these all seem in order. OSX is10.9.5
Any suggestions as to what might be the issue?

the permissions themselves look ok - they have my two computer profiles as read/write. I also note that on some occasions the library has opened in my other Computer profile, but not in the one that I want it to open.
So I think you're right, there is something with permissions happening here. I keep a work and personal computer profile.
Don't know how it happened - but the volume is definitely Read Only - even though I've created a Read/Write permissions for it
