Update error installing smart2go on N95

I've updated to the latest firmware (V11.0.026) and have downloaded the Generic Windows version of Smart2go as the N95 is not listed there but when I go to update it I always get an "Update Error!" notification.
Frustrating to say the least, it seems to be a problem nobody really knows the answer to
I've also tried the following:
1. formatted memory card, tried to reinstall with no success
2. tried to install smart2go before updating the firmware
3. just for the heck of it tried to reinstall pc suite. no success.
is there anybody who has had the same prob? please help.. i'm dying here.

I suggest you open GPS data application to monitor situation.
Go to Menu > Tools > Settings > GPS data > Position > Open > Options > Satellite status > Open:
You will see 5 empty rectangle outlines, you need a minimum of three solid black rectangles for triangulation, but usually get four for lock-on postion.
If you don't get any solid bars by 20 mins your GPS isn't working!
Start Maps on N95 and get satellite lock-on (RED CROSS on satellite icon bottom right disappears) location is then saved on closing application (get message above globe on screen)

I have thee Mac computers with Mac OS 10.6.8, one of which is a Mac Pro. No matter how many updates I install from Adobe, their Flash Player does not work on any of these 3 computers. I don't know how to contact Adobe Systems about this problem, but I think it is their responsibility to make sure that their so-called "universal" software works proplerly on a relatively recent operating system like OS 10.6.8 that is still in widespread use. When you install the updates, nothing happens -- not even an error message. What is the point of a universal player that is not universal? It works fine on my MacBook Pro with OS 9 Mavericks, but it does not work at all -- indeed, has never worked -- on my 3 Macs with OS 10.6.8. Where are you getting Flash from?
Get the appropriate dmg installer here and then run it.

If it still won't install, do these two things: First uninstall any Flash by going into the second level Hard Drive Library>Internet Plug-ins, and trash the Flash Player.plugin and flashplayer.xpt. I did it through CS, I think. I used the installation disk and selected Acrobat. It loads and then gives me all kinds of error messages and then uninstalls itself.

ok so the download problem with my iphone.. what could be the cause of that? ive restarted and deleted the "undownloaded app" over 10 times already. and restarted the iphone 10 times... next thing i know i cant install itunes on my laptop.... geez man..

Well when the indsatalltion failed I was given instructions to select Download Only from Tools and then install manually. When I did it, I window popped up with the following items: - AppleApplicationSupport

Error installing update 7 over update 6 on Windows

I installed SO8 update 6 this morning and then did "check for updates" and discovered update 7 was available.
I downloaded the unsigned patch, unpacked it, then unpacked the installation files and finally ran the install (this double-wrapping of the install files is pain BTW!).
The install recognizes I have a prior version of SO8 and proceeds to update it. I then, after a short while, get an error:
Error 1305.Error reading from file G:\apps\StarOffice8\help\hu\shared.jar.9161. Verify the file exists and that you can access it.
The weird thing is, the update 7 install is creating the help/hu directory and its contents. In my update 6 install that directory doesn't exist. Originally I though that the problem was that I did a custom install of update 6 and only installed support for English. So I went back and had update 6 install all language components. Then I saw there was still no help/hu directory.
Watching the install process of update 7 the file it complains about comes into existence, then suddenly has a zero size, then a real size, and fluctuates like that before the error message finally pops up.
Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

False alarm. Turned out there was a bad block on the disk within one of the installation cab files.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on a Lenovo ThinkPad E530. This laptop is only brands new.
KB954430, KB973688 & KB2538243 - These three updates keep giving me problems. In Windows Update, under "view update history" these keep showing up as failed. I also get the error, "Code 643".
At the end of the installation it tells me three updates are failed to be installed and when I shut down to try to update, Windows always configures up to ~15%, then fails, and reverts changes, then prompts me to install updates the next time I turn my computer on. Each time, I have to re-install every update that I had installed prior to shutting down.
I went through Trouble shooter - "Fix it" numerous times, Repaired Net framework profile and also followed few instructions I found from the net such as running "Reset Register Windows update Components" but nothing works so far.
I even tried manually installing KB954430 but it told me "An error occurred during the installation of assembly component. 7B30B69B-OE6C-B7EO-A06B-D6B9ABF34537 HR RESULT: 0 x 80070BC9" and the installation bar seems to stop at "Publishing Product information", then rolls back the installation.

Did you try to eboot the your PC or laptop where your device is connected ?
I experienced this with my windows laptop, after a failed to do an update, I restart the laptop and my Torch, then retried, and it's worked

All Protected servers updated and rebooted and continued protection - EXCEPT one;
