Hello, I try to update my iPad via iTunes connected to my PC, after its download it and try to load, ~3hours its drop message that its failure and error nr. 14, after that I can't log in to my iPad but its recognising by iTune, and I have only 2 options: restore, or update, then I try to do restore its says that I should enter key-code - but how I can do that if it not loading? If try to repeat update its say unknow error 2003. I really think now that it was bad idea to update it - but now, is that possible to recover it somehow?
iTunes 12.1.1
version before update 8.01
Windows 7 x64 all updates

Again, from the link I provided you earlier, it could be a USB error. If you follow all of the steps in the USB section, it says to try the hardware section, an if that doesn't work, then contact Apple Support.
Check your USB connections
Related errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4005, 4013, 4014, or "invalid response."
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you might not be able to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can try different equipment:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.
Solve other issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you still see the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section.
Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.These errors mean that your device or computer might have a hardware issue that stops the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't blocking your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Make sure that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

  • Software Update Failed.  An error occurred downloading iOS 6.

I have been trying to get the latest software update on my iPhone 4S 16GB for a few days.  All of my apps are closed, iTunes version is current, and no other apps need updating.  I am on WIFI and I just backed up my phone again; however, the software update will not work.  The "estimated time remaining" fluctuates by random amounts as it tries to update as well (it may say 1 minute, then 15 minutes, then 2, then 8 - regardless of what the blue progress bar shows).
Here is the error message I receive: "Software Update Failed. An error occurred downloading iOS 6."  Throughout the day today, I've also received a message stating, "cannot find update" - or something similar (I can't recall it verbatim).
What is causing this?  Please help with detailed instructions.  Thank you.

very good. You also had posted originally on the Using Apple Support Communities forum (dedicated to "How do I use this forum and find My Stuff in it?"). I had already asked our gracious Hosts to move it to Using iPhone where it now resides and will likely get more prompt attention. In the meantime, you might consider browsing and/or searching Using iPhone for similar issues as your own.

  • Precision T1700 ME FW UPDATE FAILED . Internal Error : 0x00002243 at BIOS update

    Hi all!
We have 5 of DELL Precision T1700 Workstation, and I upgraded the BIOS version to A15 from A10 with the T1700A15.exe from USB drive.
Under the upgrade I've seen the next message:
ME FW UPDATE FAILED . Internal Error : 0x00002243
    The machine's looks work correctly.
This message was just a warning?
    What can I do?
Can I update the ME FW with external tools?
    Thanks,
    Peter

DOS bootable pendrive is not a resource that is supported.   DOS Diskette and I mean MSDOS not win9X dos is required for earlier models.  This model Contrary to popular belief the INTEL ME firmware and BIOS MUST BE UPDATED thru WINDOWS run as administrator.
The reason for this is that Bios updates and Firmware are signed with a certificate and DOS does not support this.

  • Downloading Update Failed - Internal Module Error

Trying to update my Nokia 6630, and each time it completes the 25mb download before giving me the error.
    Downloading update failes
    Internal module error
Is this because my phone is a a Vodafone fone, and therefore locked by their software to some description? Or is it a more sinister (or simpler) error?

  • "Software Update Failed. An error occurred downloading OS 5.1″

    Hello,
I can not update my iPhone 4s to iOS 5.1.
I´m getting always "“Software Update Failed. An error occurred downloading OS 5.1″.
    Do anybody know that issue?
    Thanks

    On your Mac
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Network.
Select the network connection service you want to use (such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet, unless you named it something else) from the list, and then click Advanced.
Click DNS, and then click Add at the bottom of the DNS Servers list. Enter the IPv4 address for the DNS server.
    8.8.8.8
and then you can download the update via itunes
dont forget to put the original DNS back after the download

  • Creative Cloud updates fail due to error U43M1D212

    Problem:
Creative Cloud desktop is installed. Login to Creative Cloud works. Applications can be installed BUT applications CANNOT be updated. Error message: "Unable to reach Adobe servers"
    System:
    Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit
    What I've tried so far:
    1. Uninstalled everything, ran CC Cleaner Tool, restarted computer, re-installed.
    2. Disabled Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials. Rebooted router. - This is a home network, not a managed network.
    3. Checked everything this page tells me to do: Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5
    - Internet connection is fine
    - Secure sites work
    - Hosts file is clean
    - GlobalSign Root CA certificate is OK, just to be sure I downloaded a new copy and reinstalled the certificate
    4. Checked aamu.log in the Users folder. It shows error code string U43M1D212 as the reason for failed update download.
    Please help.

Update to this problem which still has not been resolved.
I wiped the computer clean and started with a fresh installation of Windows, a clean image direct from Microsoft without manufacturer bloatware. Disabled Windows firewall, only installed Creative Cloud desktop. Again, I can sign into Creative Cloud, download and install apps, but still not update them.
Proceeded to install everything else I need on this computer, and everything works without problems. I know it's not the computer, my internet connection, cables, DNS or anything else I can do anything about. Adobe needs to fix this.
Below is a part of the aamu.log file that shows the problem:

I'm also receiving SU console error messages - irrespective of whether SU is run from the menu, automatically on its weekly schedule, or logged into the computer using a different user.
    Any ideas?

If you have a phone with no Facetime, it can't ever be added. As you note, it is outlawed in several mideast countries. If you bought it in one of those, it is not an option for you.

  • Software Updates Fail With Permissions Error

Three recent software updates (Security Update 2008-02 v1 & v1.1, Aperture 2.1) have given me problems when using the default mode where the Software Update Systems Preferences application downloads and installs in one continuous sequence. The Security updates both failed with a permissions error at the end of the download, saying they'd move the Package file to the trash where I could install it manually. Neither one actually placed anything in the trash though. Instead I downloaded the installer disk images from the direct link at Apple.com and installed the Package from Finder. With the Aperture installer the error was something about an inability to expand the installer. This time I performed a "Download Only" in Software Update then ran the installer once the download was complete that way. This worked too.
So far I've run a permissions repair from Disk Tool and changed the read/write permissions on the /Library/Updates folder as suggested in an earlier thread. Neither had any effect on subsequent updates. What should I try next?

I just ran into this and what was happening to me was I had SU to automatically download updates in the background.
But I have 2 user accounts i use, so it was downloading the package under user A and I was trying to install via user B.
So i just deleted the old file in /Library/Updates then re-downloaded. I could have also just changed the permissions on the file.
