Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7
Photoshop CC will not update it always comes up with this error even after I've completely uninstalled Photoshop and Creative Cloud, I do have a subscription license but I've given up trying with Creative Cloud since I've tried all the suggestions on here and other forums and downloaded the update from Pirate Bay as it has the files that I can simply just manually copy/paste over. This does work and Photoshop CC is updated but having to do this every time an update is released is both risky and time consuming, not to mention a waste of bandwidth as I have to download the entire suite of software and extract just the Photoshop CC update from it as Photoshop is the only thing I use.
Is there a better solution to this bug?

I have tried all of those things, first the direct updates for for CS6 and previous versions, not CC. I have even tried installing the CS6 update but it didn't work.
Tried completely removing Photoshop CC, Adobe Reader and everything else by Adobe (even Adobe Flash) from my computer, reinstalling did not work it still gives me the above error when trying to update.
Obviously tried restarting and even installing in Safe Mode with Networking, this did not work either.
There are some more none-concentional solutions I've tried without success such as using a registry cleaner, checking for viruses and malware, installing to a different drive/location, using an automation script to continuesly retry the update while leaving the computer on over the xmas week while I was away and many smaller things. Nothing works!

I recently upgraded my computer and after reinstalling Photoshop Elements 9 I noticed that the introduction screen was dated. While this was ok to live with I now have noticed that the 'borders' preset in effects and contents has not been installed - this is a nuisance. I have downloaded the 9.0.3 update but still do not have the borders presets.
Suggestions for how to download these presets would be most appreciated.

Update Fail U44M1P7 ??

I tried downloading the new updates today and I get th error U44M1P7 update fail. Now my Photoshop won't open either , How do I fix this ?? windows 7 64 bit

Please confirm your Ps version from Help->About Photoshop and provide us with the following logs.
You can find them at:

Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers
AAM logs
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater
You can zip all the files together and send us through mail. This would help us in finding the root cause.

I am trying to update my PS CC (Windows 7) from version 14.1.1 to the current 14.2, but continue to receive the "Update Failed" (U44M1P7) error message. Is there some way to solve this?

After reinstalling Photoshop PS6 I cannot any longer save smart collections in Bridge

Hi, after reinstalling Photoshop PS6 I cannot any longer save smart collections in Bridge. I create a smart collection by entering criteria, but when I click on SAVE, it is not saved. In my old installation (before I had to install a new hard disk), that never was a problem.
I am using Windows 7. Before, I used a hrad disk for the system, now I have a SSD, plus seveal hard disks for data storage.
Can anybody help me with advice what the problem is?

Please help - I continue to receive the same update failed message regarding CS6 Extended 13.0.3 x64. I am a Creative Cloud member running OS X 10.8.2. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, signing out, as well as manually downloading the update, and nothing has worked.

Captivate 5.0.2 update failing, U44M1P7

I am receiving the following error after attempting to update Captivate: U44M1P7.
I see that the 5.0.1 patch did not take either. My version is showing as 5.0.0.596.
Can someone help fix this? Thanks...

Same issue, and this was my great experience with Adobe about it. No wonder when you search for adobe support in google you only see comments about it being the worst support people have dealt with. Surprising really, considering the cost of their products.

After reinstalling Photoshop CS6 Bridge is very slow. It takes 15 sec to respond to a mouse click. Photoshop is OK.

Slow as compared to what? Have you seen better performance with older versions of Photoshop?

Takes my system longer than that to start Photoshop CS5, and while my computer isn't a top-of-the-line workstation today (it was a few years ago), it's no slouch. Photoshop has never been a fast application to start up.

Game center doesn't update leaderboard scores after reinstaling apps

I had few games with some nice achievements and scores.
I have deleted my games from my iPhone.
After some time Ive decided to instal some of them again.
My achievements and best scores were automatically imported into Game Center and the games.
It was cool and it was what I've expected.
The problem is i.e. when I play minigore and get some nice points the leaderboard doesn't update. There are my old scores but none of them are appearing after reinstalling the game.
Simply I still see some great scores in ALL but TODAY and THIS WEEK just doesnt show my new scores even when it's high.
Other game doesn't connect to game center at all. It shows WELCOME AGAIN QAYIN but doesn't update nor scores nighter achievements.
Does anyone has similar problem?
Any solutions either simply wait till update cause it is a bug?

Why is my update failing for AFTER EFFECTS?

I downloaded After Effects 12.2 update after being told my version of AE CC won't work on 10.9.3. I downloaded the installer, but when I clicked on the PatchInstaller, the crappy Adobe Application Manager told me that the Update Failed. Updates could not be applied. Please contact your Administrator... I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR!
I clicked on the "customer support" link. And I use quotes because it shucked me to here, where they apparently don't have anyone answering questions.
Why will the doggone patcher not work? Its a PATCHER! To fix BROKEN SOFTWARE!! THAT WE HAVE LEASED! THIS SHOULD BE A NO BRAINER ADOBE!

Why is Illustrator CC (2014) update failing repeatedly after downloading 100%?

I've been a member of CC for sometime 18 months and normally I have no trouble with updates.
However, this particular update to Illustrator CC fails repeatedly.
I've attempted this update and download more than 8 times.
It shows the download to be 100% complete and then "Update failed" shows up.
Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?
I've just migrated to a newish iMac, could this be a reason?

Have you uninstalled the old versions and used the Cleaner Tool before updating to the new version?
This procedure is recommended after updating Mac OS.

I tried to update Photoshop CC 2014, but it failed at 75%, with error code U44M1I210. After restarting my system, it still failed so I uninstalled the app, per this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1i210-installing-updates-ccm.html
Now the reinstall won't complete, and I'm getting error -55. The one other article that seemed relevant looks like the person had to uninstall and reinstall all his Adobe software after creating a new admin account on his computer (When I try to update I get an U44M1I210 error message, "Unable to extract the downloaded files" - help please, applies to latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC), and I'm hoping there is a better solution than the hours that will involve.
Running on OSX 10.7.5.

Can't install update after reinstalling photoshop CS2

I manually removed PS CS2 because of a problem with the 9.0.2 update. I reinstalled PS CS2(9.0). Then tried to update to 9.0.1 but the auto update tells me no available updates.
Did i miss something when removing PS CS2 thats makeing it think it is still 9.0.2?

First of all, if you installed the Adobe TWAIN plugin by moving it, put it back. (You can get this error if you move it instead of copying it to install it.) Also, if you have done anything to the auto analyzer, like renaming it, name it back to what it was before. Then restart your mac and try again.
