Update fixes

Has anyone got any idea if Google/Motorola/Verizon is coming up soon with any fixes for Jelly Bean? A sweet sounding OS, but I understand arsenic is as well. I can not connect my phone (Razr M) to my laptop (running Windows 8). The phone does not show up as a separate drive. Because of this, I can not drag files from one spot to another. Music files and Photos I can swap via wifi or bluetooth, but Microsoft Office files can not be moved this way. I can do the old copy and paste routine, but that's a pain. BTW, when I pull down the Notification Bar and click on USB connection, it does not give me Mass Storage, only Media device (MTP) and Camera (PTP), which excludes all Excel, Word, and Power Point files. Plus, trying to make one of your songs a Ringtone is a very trying experience. It can be done, but so can't pulling teeth from a tiger.

Update to my first post. I took the plunge and reinstalled Windows 7. Twas a 3 day chore. However, now my Razr M does connect to my laptop and I can move files around. However, I still don't get "Mass Storage". But they do talk to eachother using MTP.

Making it easier, and better support, and eliminating known issues; but, ALL the issues is a tall order.
Also, it is probably a lot easier to skip the BootCamp partition and just throw another small drive in.

Verizon iPhone 5 Update Fixes Cellular Use on WiFi Bug

If you have been seeing higher cellular data usage while you are on WiFi, good news, Verizon has fixed this bug. All you need to do is update your Carrier Settings to 13.1 and the bug is fixed.

I have the exact same problem!
I'm using the iPhone 5 now under Carrier M1 Singapore 13.0 and I have noted that over a period of 2 weeks, my cellular data usage has been about 2.7GB on an average. Since I know my bill has been capped at 3GB, I have since switched off my cellular data.
However, when I switched it on for a few days after using it for awhile, my cellular usage jumped by 1.2GB in just 1 day! And I used it as I would on an average day (like during an average day in the 2 weeks)!
I understand that there have been reports of a bug that have caused this problem in the US.

MS Office 2008 Update: fixes some print issues?

I noticed the first update for Office 2008 is out, and one "fix" they list for Word is:
Blank pages are no longer printed when you print to a high resolution printer. This update fixes an issue in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard that causes blank pages to print when you print to a high resolution printer.
I know people have struggled with Samsung and other printers and Word since Leopard released. I do not have one of the affected printers so cannot test it.

Try:
- Reset the dock
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
Otherwise you are out of luck. Apple is not making any more update for the 4G.
Also check with Phillips. Maybe they have an firmware update available

Hi Joe,
You could use the reclass API : FA_RECLASS_PUB.DO_RECLASS
Based on the new minor category, derive the correct asset category and pass it to this API along with other required parameters.

Have you been able to use the Mac Mini directly attached to the plasma/LCD/projector with out going through the Denon AVR? Even with 10.9.3 installed?
I have a Pioneer AVR and I have the Mac attached via a HDMI to HDMI and all is working for me. Can your Denon do some upscaling? Some AVR, like my VSX-53 can change the scaling of the input video. Meaning if I still had my Apple TV 2 which outputs 720P only, can be upscaled in my AVR to 1080i or 1080P or even 24fps. Heck, I could even plug in an old style Red, White, Yellow cable and upscale it to 1080P and output it HDMI.
I am wondering if your Denon is able to do that and it might be set wrong. Check the owners manual for such settings. Even the plasma/LCD/project could be doing the upscaling too. So check that too.

Did the iTunes update fix the BSOD problem?

iTunes was crashing this morning (with that C++ runtime error that several others were complaining about). I updated iTunes and it fixed the problem.
Does anyone know if this update fixed the "Logitech Web Cam causing the BSOD when syncing iPhone on to a Dell Computer" error?
I only ask because now when I sync my iPhone, windows recognizes it as an iPhone now, and not a Camera anymore. I just wanna know if I can reinstall my WebCam Driver again.
Is there somewhere that lists what kind of fixes were in the last update?

No it did not. There are no iPhone enhancements or fixes in 7.3.1
It fixes an itunes library problem on the desktop or laptop that is all, and does not effect anything related to the iPhone.

Depreciation terms are applicable to the entire asset (not for individual transactions). If you want to have different terms, you may create the additions as Sub-asset (Tcode AS11) to the main asset and enter depreciation terms.

Does 10.5.3 update fix audio "popping?"

There's a pretty well documented issue with several computers with the sound card more or less going to sleep and causing pops in external speakers as well as delays in sounds while the card wakes up. Does anyone know if the latest osx update fixes this?

Well, I don't know about Sweden, but the "sound card goes to sleep and pops on wake" thing is well documented in these forums, and there are reports of people taking their computers in for repair several times (with no resolution) in the USA.
There was a similar issue around 10.4.10 that was quickly patched...why not this time (that has been going on literally for months)?
There is a freeware utility built for PPC computers from back around 10.1.x that is working on my Macintel computer -- Keepsoundawake. It plays an inaudible sound ever 20 seconds or so to prevent the sound card from going to sleep. I've got it as a login item, and it's working for me, but remember that this is old software that may not work for all users. It can be found on versiontracker at http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/13709&mode=feedback or macupdate at http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9349/keepsoundawake.
As I said...it works for me, but YMMV.

did the update fix the port 3689, and does apple tv still drop from the device list in itunes.

A reinstall of itunes fixed the port issues but ATV still doesn't show up in my device list.

Did the update fix audio clicks on export?

I'm aware of the problems with Lion and audio clicks while exporting from FCP X. Did the update fix this problem? I want to upgrade to Lion but not if it's going to screw up the project I'm working on currently.

Looking at its release notes, it does not specify a fix for that problem. However, you should install this update, as this fixes other bugs and improve performance. Open  > Software Update, and OS X 10.9.1 will show up
