  • How can I add Canon Easy Web Print EX to the toolbar?

I just purchased a Canon Pixma Mx922 printer and i upgraded to windows 7. Today I re-installed Firefox. Is there any way to add the Canon Easy Web Print EX to the Firefox toolbar? I didn't see that option in the add-ons I could add.
    Thank you.

It looks like Canon Easy WebPrint EX doesn't support Firefox - only Windows Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 and 10.0 32-bit.

  • HP Smart Web Printing 4.60 is incompatible withg Firefox 3.6.12l; what can be done, please?

My computer (desktop) runs on Windows XP2002 SP3 and Microsoft Works home edition. My new printer HP Photosmart Premium c390g-m has "smart web printing", but this feature is incompatible with my system, I am told. Can anything be done about this, please?

Talk to HP about when they're going to update that Smart Web Printing application to work with Firefox 3.6+ versions.

  • Does the canon mx340 which has easy photo print ex have an update

have a canon mx 340 and use easy phot print ex to print pics ..does this have an update i can download or install please

Ahh ok, that function File->Show In Finder shows the current selection in the finder if it is a referenced image. That's all it does, it doesn't cause any permanent changes to any settings in Aperture or the Finder. Why you couldn't see your referenced files in the finder before clicking this and now you can is a mystery and a coincidence and will do nothing to enable other programs from accessing the images in the library.
As for turning off color management when you print from Aperture, in the print dialog under the Rendering section
when you open the Color Profile you can select  Printer Managed.
Once you set it to Printer Managed you'll see the warning change from Turn off in Printer to Turn on in Printer
Might be worth a shot if you haven't try it yet.

  • HP Smart Web Printing only works on Explorer not Firefox 4 are you going to update this as I do not want to change back to Explorer.

I just downloaded the HP Smart Web Printing which is free for those who purchase printers. It provides ability to select and clip or print web pages. It works on Explorer but not Firefox 4. There are many such questions on forums in both HP and Firefox. I love Firefox and would hate to have to go back to Explorer.
Firefox 4 also does not appear to have "Send to OneNote" either. I used to be able to do this in Firefox 3.

  • WeB print for IE 11 is there an update

    Hello
i am using IE 11 with Windows 7 (64bit).  i installed hp photo solutions but when i try to use web print it indicates that this version of IE is not supported.  it then takes me to hp website but not to the solution.  please, does anyone have a solution?

    Hi Blackography,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are getting an error message indicating that Internet Explorer is not supported.
As per Microsoft's Internet Explorer 11 website, Windows 7 is not a supported operating system for Internet Explorer 11, the only operating systems that support IE 11 are Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1.  I have included the link to Microsoft's web site.

  • HP Smart Web Printing and Firefox

Was able to update IE8 with Smart Web Printing, but not working in Firefox.  Will an update be available for Firefox?

I believe an updated version of SWP will be released that'll work with FF 3.x.x. However, there is no release date specified by HP.

  • Web Printing Capabilities

Hi, We have not experimented with the "Web Printing" capabilities yet and have a question or 2 on the topic.  Some people feel it would be better to go to crystal reports to get better formatted printouts or added functionality for printing.
    1.  For printing our general reports should we do the standard SAP "Enhance Web Printing" or look into Crystal for this?
    2.  For printing our Web templates with multiple InfoProviders will crystal make this easier?
    3.  If we would like to format our reports to looks a specific way. "I.E.  This row should be highlighted" would crystal help us with that or would CSS be able to accomplish as well?
Thanks for any direction you can provide....
Updated: Topic may have moved down the chain too quickly...

    Hello Kenneth
SAP "Enhanced Web Printing" basically just add a header, a footer and display variables.... but there are many things you cannot do : change the column width, page break on characteristics values...
That the report is based on basic cube or multiprovider is not relevant.
To highlight a column you can do it with standard BW : in the query : highlight, or use exception, use CSS, or table interface.
Until next major version of BW, the best tool to print using standard SAP is probably WORKBOOK with eventually VBA.
    Best regards from France

  • HP Smart Web Printing wont upgrade.

Upgraded to FireFox 8.0 on two machines. Both run windows 7 @ 64 bit. Desktop automatically installed HP ..web print v5.6 and the notebook automatically installed a disabled version 4.5.1. The notebook will no find any updates for this disabled extension.
The HP smart web printing works nicely on the desktop.

  • HP Smart Web Printing interfering with Internet Explorer

Hello - I have a new dv7-4183cl notebook and I just added a new Photosmart C310 wireless printer. When I added the printer, I installed all of the programs included on the installation disc. Since then, I'm having a very annoying problem with the mouse pointer changing from the typical arrow to the precision select crosshair within the active window of Internet Explorer (not on the address bar, toolbars, bottom taskbar). The effect seems entirely random, but once the pointer changes to the crosshair, it does not change back and I am unable to select anything on the page with left clicks. I have to close the page and open another. If I have multiple tabs, some tabs will be fine and some will not. I also have Safari installed and the problem isn't there so it seems linked just to IE.
When the crosshair is on the screen, I can hilight a rectangular section and a small box pops up saying "clip.." and "print.." So, just to see what happens, I selected clip and it brought up a pane on the left side of the screen for HP Smart Web Printing. I hadn't used this, but it seems to be the culprit because it is randomly turning itself on (so to speak). I've looked through the preferences, but can't find a way to turn it off.
Has anyone had such an issue? Should I try to uninstall teh Smart Web Printing? Is there an update from HP? It is an annoyance, but enough of one that I would return the associated printer and choose another brand if there were no resolution possible. Thank you and happy New Year to all.

Yes, I had the same problem and I found out it is due to the HP software HP Smart Web Printing.  If you uninstall that program the crosshair pointer will not show up anymore.

Have you tried installing it anyways and see what happens?

  • HP Smart Web Printing 4.6 Error Message

I am running Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit, and IE9.  I have downloaded and installed HP Smart Web Printing, Version 4.6, but it will not work.  The popup error message I get reads: "HP Smart Web Printing must be updated to run on this browser.  Would you like to check http://www.hp.com/go/swp/4_6_0_0/IE9/eng for a newer version?  When I click on Yes, the webpage displays a message that the webpage cannot be found: "Sorry, we can't find that page."
Anybody know how to fix whatever is causing V4.6 not to run?

HP Smart Web Printing has been replaced with HP Smart Printing.  See the page here.

  • HP Smart Web Printing Breaks Firefox

HP Smart Web Printing Breaks Firefox Navigation bar.

Application: HP Smart Web Print Version 4.6
After installing it basically broke the Firefox browser bar.
    Here is the FriendFeed Conversation

As far as I’m concerned this is by far the most intrusive and inconsiderate update HP has every released. Be where – if I had to guess I would say that HP is using EDS to do it’s update/releases. I only say this because as someone who worked for EDS for 14 years, I can tell you they are used to telling their end user what they must have how they are going to get it instead of the other way around. This is one of the main reasons I left EDS in 1999. So do not trust HP anymore. Always make a restore point before you apply any updates and only apply update when they apply to you and the way you use your computer. I for one am going to turn off HP update notices because I don't even want to know about an update unless I have some problem I need to solve.
    System Info:
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32 bit (all current updates applied as of 01/15/2009).
    Browser: Firefox 3.5.7
    Problem Area: Firefox Add-ons
    Problem and Solution:
Hp Update notified me an update for HP Smart Web Printing to version 4.60 is available. Because I like to keep my computer software up to date I clicked install, what a mistake. The first thing I noticed is that the Norton Toolbar 4.0 was missing in Firefox 3.5.7. Turned out it was BROKE and/or disables although Firefox showed it as being present and enabled it was not, along with other Add-ons for Firefox.
    Things I tried:
    1)      Exit and restarted FF (no effect)
    2)      Disable HP Smart Web Printing and Restarted Firefox (Norton Toolbar reappeared but still was not working along with other Add-ons.
    Final Solution:
    1)      Uninstall HP Smart Web Printing (I check delete/no to save anything)
    2)      Ran System Restore and restored to the latest System Check Point which was before the 4.60 update was applied because Windows was prevented from or just didn't create an automatic restore point in order to undo the update.
    3)      Uninstall HP Smart Web Printing again and again I didn't save anything (Why? I have no idea but it appeared that even though the previous version of HP Smart Web Printing should be installed it seems that the 4.60 updates are applied to it so it’s the only way I could get Firefox and the other Add-ons working right) Norton Safe Web still doesn't work right and is a 100% dysfunctional.
    NOTE:
All Firefox Add-ons seems to be working except Norton Safe Web function. The green tick mark no longer show up so you have no way of know if the site is Safe or not until you click on a link in Google search so Safe Web will check it which as far as I'm concerned diminishes the protection/function 100%. The only solution may be to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it, which at this time I've not done because I am still trying to find a way around it.

  • HP Smart Web Printing Software

Is there a version of HP Smart Web Printing Software that will work with Internet Explorer 8.0? I upgraded from Internet Explorer 7.0 to 8.0 (using XP SP2), and my previous HP Web Site Add-On Version 2.15.7.0 was incompatible with IE 8.0, so I tried upgrading to HP Smart Web Printing Version 4.05. First I selected "Install Now" from the HP web site & thought the load was successful, but then I couldn't find it among installed programs on my PC. Then I selected "Download Only" from the web site, and ran the executable from my desktop, but it went into an uninstall mode and froze. I exited the program and selected the executable a 2nd time. It started to load but stopped, saying another install program was still in progress. I exited the program & rebooted the PC. I selected the executable for the 3rd time and the installation appeared to complete successfully. At least the application was listed among installed programs, but it does not appear anywhere on the IE toolbar, and I have not found any way to run the application. Is it even compatible with IE 8.0?

I am having the same problem! I'm NOT glad to see that someone else is having trouble too! I had IE 6 & downloaded a free offer of Smartwebprinting. I loved it! Then I got a message that said I should upgrade to IE 8 so, of course, I did! Then I was told that smart web printing is NOT compatible with IE 8! AFTER I downloaded it not before! I was very angry! Then today I find an upgrade for smart web printing so it would be compatible with IE 8. I was happy again! But, alas, it will not work! It asked if I wanted to replace the program I already had. I said 'yes'. Then when it tried to install....it UN-installed! I have written to HP twice with NO response! so I did uninstall the program, then downloaded the supposedly 'upgraded' version of smart web printing again. I am unable to find the program anywhere, I only have the 'exe' program. I don't know what to do from here?? I'm ready to go back to IE 6!
I've attached a screenshot of the SWP icon, so please check if you can see it. You may have to click on the '>>' button to see more buttons, and reveal the SWP button.
@Ronalds: It's not compatible with Vista 64-bit according to the specs, but try to install it anyways and see if it works.
