Update for Adode Download Assistant (1.2.4) is Frozen

The update for the Adobe Download Assistant (1.2.4) is frozen. The blue bar will fill all the way but then it will just stay there.
I'm not sure if this is affecting the CS6 Master Collection (English) download. It has been frozen at 8 hours hor days.
I have a MacBook Pro.
Just wanted to add:
I seen that I had a device open labled: "Install Adobe Download Assistant"
Once I double clicked, I received this error message:

You need to quit the currently running version of the Adobe Download Assistant and then remove it from your application folder. You should then be able to install the new version. that link is the only one for pre cc app updates.
is the current downloadable version cs5.04? if yes, that would explain why there is no update for the downloadable version. you would uninstall your cs5 and install the current download in that situation.

I cant click accept to the terms and conditions for adobe download assistant

While trying to install the trial version of Adobe Illutratotor, i encounter the problem of adobe download assistant being unresponsive when i try to click accept or even when i try to close the program. The only way to close the program is to close it via ending its process in task manager.
I have tried trying to tab to accept and i can see the outline around the button but nothing happens when i hit enter.
Im using Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

Error running Adobe Download Assistant for PS Elements 11

I'm logged into my Adobe account. I'm on a MacBook Pro running OS x 10.6.8. I use Chrome as my browser but have tried this with Safari as well with the same result.
I download the dmg for Adobe Download Assistant and when I run it, it launches ADA but then a pop up window comes up with:
"This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I want to download and install a trial version of Photoshop Elements 11.
Any suggestions?

Lmslugo please move your current installation to the trash can, empty the trash, and reinstall. This should give you a new copy of the application with a current certificate.

How to get rid of "updates for HP printer"

I have a new problem concerning HP printer updates . Currently am getting a updater for new downloads for Hp2175 on my desktop, but there's nothing in this box to download and I can't get rid of the message box. It only allows me to click out of it. Do any of you wonderful mac folks have a clue?

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, press the key combination command-F to open a search window, or select
File ▹ Find
from the menu bar. In the search window, select
Search: This Mac
from the row of tokens below the toolbar. Below that is a popup menu initially showing Kind. From that menu, select Other...
A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select Raw Query and click OK or press return.
Now there will be a text box to the right of popup menu. Click in that box and paste (command-V).
The search window will show all the App Store products you've installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
At least one of the items listed in the search window is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Test.

Mac, Download Assistant Problems...

Hi there, I just thought I'd let you guys know that I keep getting this message every time I try to download a trial copy of the master collection CS6 trial for mac:
"Sorry, an error has occurred.
The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."
BTW, this is for the download assistant that I'm having problems with...
I have gone through your trouble shooting guide and tried everything I could to get your download assistant to work and get the same message??? Am I doing something wrong??
I am the administrator on my computer and this should be real simple but it's not.

I'm noticing the same issue on a trial download. Error message stating I don't have permissions. Which is wierd because I have full admin access.
I believe the download assistant tools is not requesting permission which installers typically do by prompting an js window input Admin password.
Currently the installer is not installing to my mac's Applications folder instead asking me to save to a user/myName/
I am on OSX 10.8.2 Please advise thanks.

You need iTunes 10.0 or greater to update your phone...iTunes isn't confused at all. If you're on a Mac, you'll need OS X 10.5.8 or greater to update iTunes to 10.0 or greater.

A recent download of an iTunes update, for some unknown reason, failed on my computer. Since then I get a system error message everytime I log on telling me that the program cannot be opened because 'MSVCR80.d11' is missing from my computer. When I try to open iTunes I get an 'error 7 (Windows error 126)' message and am advised to reinstall iTunes. However, when I attempt to do this, it downloads the programme and gets as far as installation, at which point I get yet another message: this time 'Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start'.
I am at a loss to know what to try next and would appreciate any assistance. I'm also concerned that, in the process of reinstalling iTunes, I am going to lose all the music I have collected over the years.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
