My phone tells me that I have 12 updates but when I press update all or update any individually nothing happens at all. It also does not ask me for my password any more but my iPad and mac book do.
I have signed in and out of the app store and the password is correct. I have tried both kinds of reboot but that did nothing. I have tried to update the apps by connecting phone to Mac book pro...it shows the apps being download on the Mac book and says it will sync them to my phone but it does not. Everything else on my phone works fine.

You can purchase Lion from the Mac App Store. You will need to meet the requirements for Lion, but the Mac App Store will tell you whether your Mac is capable of running Lion or not.

Java update 51 for Mac OS X 10.6 causes several programs to break, will there be an update for 10.6? I saw that there is one for OS x 10.7 available, but not for any earlier versions

Yes, it's Java update 16 for Mac OS 10.6 that broke lots of stuff. The 51 comes from it updating Java to 1.6_51. There is an update to the update for 10.7 and up posted, but is there one for 10.6?
UPDATE: Never mind. If you go to the download page for Java update 16, it appears that it has been silently updated. Although there isn't any indication of the fact that it has been fixed, the build number is different (20.51-b01-457 instead of -456).

You need to be running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or newer to sync the iPhone 5; this may require buying a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store. OS upgrades aren't covered by the warranty.

You have to do it on the Apple TV itself while it's plugged into a TV so that you can see its screen.

The pop ups are malware. It's not necessary to reinstall Safari.

My adobe suite 3 is on CD. I didn’t installed it in my computer that time. I wait too long to bay a new computer. And now 6 year after it doesn’t fit to the Mac OSX 10.9.5 I bought in 2013. My problem is that the CD with programs cost much money in 2007. I read on Adobe webpage that there is a special offer for CS user (40% discount). How can i get it?
Mybe the best for me is to sell my suite 3 CD. The development goes too fast for me. It is too expensive to bay pr month full version creative cloud. My be the only solution is photoshop with lightroom.

When you downloaded Lion from the Appstore (and paid 29$) you have 10.7.4.
After the download you will find it in the Applications folder: that is the installer ! The installer vanishes when used, thus if you want to make an installer disk (to avoid a later redownload), you should do it before you run this installer. You can use "Lion Diskmaker" for that (use a 8GB USB stick), http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/39701/lion-diskmaker/

In Snow Leopard you update Java from Software Update (in the Apple menu). You can check your version by opening Terminal and typing
java -version
(don't get creative and type anything else)
The latest version is 1.6.0_65.

I have the latest version of Adobe CS6 Master Collection on my Mac running Mountain Lion 10.8.2. and it run fine except one annoying problem. When I check for update, Adobe Premiere CS6 6.0.2 upd show up and poceed to update it. The update process went fine and successfully update Premiere Pro. I check, it's version 6.0.2 (072 (MC:264578)) after update
When I close all CS6 app, then restart one of tem like Photoshop, check for updates, Premiere Pro 6.0.2 update show up again. I try update it many times, andthe version is still the same.
So the update loop repeatedly. This isnoying. It start to occur4 days back. I have updated Premiere Pro to 6.0.2 some times ago, anfor somee unknown reason, Adobe Application Manager go crazy and start loopin on Premiere Pro.
Other updates like InCopy or InDesign have no looping problem. Only Premiere Pro have problem.
Any friend experience the same problem as me? And please,I'd to get advise on how to solve this problem

The problem still persist just now. After updating SpeedGrade, DFS Tool, InDesign, everything went fine.
After reboot my Mac Premiere Pro 6.0.2 update loop back again and update itseld endlessly
Seems nobody fix thi annoying issue

Open the Mac App Store and try downloading Yosemite. If you get told it's incompatible, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Xeon or Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) CPU and 2GB of RAM, and if it does, click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
Back up your data and check your applications for compatibility before upgrading. In particular, Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC programs such as versions of Microsoft Office prior to 2008.
