Dear Experts,
I need one clarification.
we have created one new plant in quality inspection side, till not created any code group and selected set
for the particular new plant.
But already having the code group and selected set for the existing plant.
It is possible for use the existing plant code group and selected set in new plant.
or
It will be created in new code group and selected set in new plant.
What is the way for update in single item and mas update procedure.
through any t.code or LSMW?

Already some plants (1000 ) are assign the process order customization. But currently include one additional plant ( 1001) for process manufacturing.

if all master data configuration is over in the new plant, you can proceed to crteate the required cofiguration for new plant.
if your production process is similar across all plants then you can simply copy all the required things from your old plants, or if the process is different in the new plant you have to configure the required settings.
as you asked what are required settings apart from Basically create order type, production scheduler, production scheduling profile these are all the main thing,
apart from above things. actually the configuration is depends on your Production process which you Follow in your business. as standard process starts from Configuration od SOP And Transfering Demand To MRP and Running MRP then executing the results of mrp in this case we need to configure SOP And MRP Settings First then remaining Production process configuration.
can you give the details of your PRoduction process then we can discuss the sequence of required configuration.

Regarding PO Creation for a new plant

Dear MM expets,
In IDES Version I have created a new company code, plant and done the necessary configuaration settings and assignments.
When I am trying to raise a PO, It is showing Earror message
"Account assignment mandatory for material XXXX"
Earror message no: ME062
Diagnosis:
" There is no provision for value based inventory management for this material type in this plant. Account assignment is thus necessary"
Please explain me, why im getting this message,

Thanks alot for your answer, My problem got solved,
I have checked the customization checking for the material types,
In Quantity/Value updating field,
"By valuation area" is selected as default selection for both quanity and value,
Now I have selected "By valueation areas" for both quantity and value
Now my PO accepting me to raise a po for standard NB document type, without
asking any account assingment category.
Can u expalin me what exactly the difference between default setting and my present setting.

Steps needs to be configured
1.New Plant to be created (Copy the new plant from the existing Plant) Configuration
2.Create Plant as Location - Configuration
3.Define Shipping Point- Configuration
4.Transport Planning Point Description to be changed Configuration.
5.Create a new Profit Center Master Data
6.Create a new Cost Center Master Data
7.Cost Center allocation to Shipment Cost OKB9 Configuration
8.Assign Business Area to New Plant Configuration
9.Assign New Plant to Sales Organization & Division - Configuration
10.Update all the GLs related to the new Plant. Default assignment to a Profit Center - 3KEI Configuration
11.Update Table J_1IT030K_V for Indian Tax Account Determination. - Configuration
12.Account Assignment Category VKOA Assign GL Accounts to Sales Org/AcctAssgGr/AcctAsgnmt/Plant/Acct Key Configuration
13.Maintain Excise Registration for New Plant- Configuration
14.Maintain Plant settings for New Plant- Configuration
15.Maintain Excise Group for New Plant- Configuration
16.Define GL Accounts for taxes Configuration
17.Specify GL account for Excise Transaction- Configuration
18.Create all Inbound and Outbound Routes for new Plant Configuration
19. Assign new plant to company code.
Please note that the above steps are for new plant by copying the existing plant and modification. If you define a new plant without copying the existing plant lot of steps are involved.
as per FI/CO part point nos 5 to 8, 10 to 17.

I have had to create a new iTunes account. However, there are updates that were not performed while under the old account. So now when I try to update apps, it's asking for the login of the old account, which I do not have.

I have had to open a new account, however, there were App updates that did not get installed before I opened the new account. Therefore, when I try to do the updates, it's is asking for the sign-in and password for the old account, which I do not have this information.

All apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and is not transferable.
Delete these apps and download them with the new Apple ID.

Hi Sakthi,
I am assuming that you are asking about the factory calendars which are assigned while difing the plant.
Factory calendars are created through transaction "SCAL".
Opening and closing of MM periods can be done through transaction MMPV.This is based on the company code.Before using MMPV ,you can look the last opened period in the transaction MMRV.

Design the New process set up for Materials in one physical stock plant

Hi Experts,
The requirement is one physical plant as two different logical plants in the system. The main issue is how to administrate or how to find the set up which allows one Physical warehouse in Hamburg which we have supplying two Logical warehouses in the system without having thru really physically separate the warehouses into two different ones. Materials physically will be only for one warehouse.
Requirement is for Design the New process set up for Materials in one physical stock serving plant into two different system plants.
Most of the things are pointing in the direction that order Backlogs will not be converted into new organization. We have backlogs for the material requirements for purchase orders, sales orders whatever we have in the current setup; then there will have all are new orders from the certain dates taking in the new organization set up. These backlogs are very long at least three to four years.
We would like to find some way to have the all the material requirements ending up in one basket instead of two baskets. That still be able to deliver at least in system point of view from two different baskets.
We need to do analysis on one physical stock serving plant into two different system plants that could be done either by material master data or as i understood that could be from PS side.
can any one please tell me how we can maintian this setup in the system.
Please provide your valuable inputs.

Sorry, the creation of such an end-to-end solution is outside the scope of an online forum. Most consulting companies would send a multi-disciplinary team to perform this task, and would take several weeks to research your requirements, and come up with a prototype.

I will say this. If your goal is to have two plants, with two company codes, and you wish to only procure or produce in one of the plants, then generally I would recommend using Special Procurement via Stock Transport Order (in standard SAP, Special Procurement 40). This based on a very small knowledge of your requirements. I have already cited the Sap online help for special procurement.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. If the machine was upgraded to Lion 10.7.x by the original owner then you bought an illegal license of Lion and also of any other applications that the seller said came pre-installed, this assumes the seller did not include original install media. In that case you need to contact the seller for the original install DVDs that came with the machine re-install up to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and then purchase Mountain Lion ($20) and the applications you want or need. If the seller cannot come up with the original install discs then you can buy them from a nominal cost from AppleCare..

No. purchases are forever tied to the apple ID used to buy them. Delete them and buy your own copies.

How do I get the tabs to start working after updating Firefox? It wont open new tabs for me now.

I downloaded the recent update for Firefox and now the new tabs will not work, either by clicking on the "+" symbol or by going to file create a new tab. Ive tried rebooting firefox and have had no luck. Any one else having this issue and know how to fix it?

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)

I always run a Time Machine backup before updating anything and recommend you run a backup as well. Paid apps should migrate over without any problem. If you have problems with VPP codes not transfering over properly, you can talk to your Apple SE or contact VPP for Education support and they can help you. While I haven't experienced any problems with updating, its never a guarantee that others will have the same experience.
