Update from CS6 to CC

When I use Creative Cloud to update my PS CS6 what will Creative Cloud download ,the whole new PS CC application to replace PS CS6 or just download a update as usual not so big as a completely whole new application?

CC apps will install separately and not overwrite anything in CS6.

The update itself will not affect exisiting files, but if you open and save them in CCC you will no longer be able to open them in CS6.

It seems error is coming due to ExMan failure. Ps must be updated now, Verify the same by Ps->About Photoshop.
Try installing ExMan from here:
http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em6_download.html
After successful installation try updating again through Help->Update.
If it still sxists then for ExMan issue please provide us with the following logs.

Failed Update from CS6 13.0 to 13.0.3

Hello, I downloaded the 13.0.3 update through Adobe application manager and things go well until a few seconds are left to the update and I get update not applied with an error code of U44M2P7. I went to the Adobe site and downloaded the update and tried a manual install with the same exact results. I did an online Chat and they want me to un-install CS6 and use a creative suites cleaner tool and trash the Adobe application manager and then re-install CS6 13.0.3 and download a new application manager. I am very reluctant to go through all this grief and thought I would get some opinions first.
I am runing OS 10.7.5. I have done nothing major to my Mac Pro Desktop. I have upgraded CS6 and bridge before through Adobe application manager with no issues. I have CS6 and Lightroom 4 installed on my computer and nothing else. If I have to go this route, is the creative suite cleaner tool worth using? Also I have never downloaded any beta versions of Photoshop or Lightroom.

I started this journey with CS6 Design & Web Premium with anticipation of the great new design of the apps. They still work very well, but on my Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.2) MacBook Pro updating to Photoshop 13.0.3 (and .2) and Illustrator have been very frustrating. I've spent WAY too much time trying to figure out what MY problem is - everything up to and including a clean install of the operating system and uninstall and reinstall of CS6. I thought I may have found the elusive problem in that I had deleted all the Localizations (languages) except English when I was trying to make room on a recent SSD - which you may know are expensive for any good sized one; I thought a 120 GB would be okay for boot, it wasn't. The last try at reinstall of CS6 showed errors related to languages: "

That's when I thought the Localizations may have something to do with the reinstall problems - the reinstall has problems with Photoshop and Illustrator and others as shown above. But I've reinstalled a fresh OS so that should be the problem. My Mac Pro with Lion 10.7.5 has no problem CS6 apps (i.e. Photoshop is at 13.0.3). That might lead one to say the problem is an OS one. But I've mucked around with the MBPro so much I have no idea what's what anymore. I'm going to leave things alone and as long as the apps run and do what I need them to do I'm done with trying to fix this. I have things to do that are more important than obsessing over these update issues. As SW Rick stated, I'm about to the point where this will be my last Adobe CS upgrade.

Update from CS6

I already owned Adobe CS6 Web and Design Premium, before I upgraded to Creative Cloud.
My problem is that now that I have downloaded and installed some of the upgraded programs, none of the new features are available in my programs.
In Photoshop e.g., converting layer to CSS is not available, and in the other programs I upgraded, none of the new features have been installed.
Do I need to re-install all the programs, and will I then be able to use CS6 if I quit my Creative Cloud membership.

Have you tried opening your Creative Suite 6 applications and choosing Help>Update? For most of our software the feature updates are not installed initially. They have to be added through the update process.

What do you mean you can't write HTML5 code? Are you working within an HTML5 doc type?
To make HTML5 your default doc type, go to Edit > Preferences > New Document. Click on screenshots below.
To create a new page, go to File > New > Blank page > HTML. Select none from the 3rd column. Select HTML5 doc type. Hit Create button.

It has been indicated that both of those cameras will be supported in the final release of Camera Raw 8.7. But there is no announced release date. There never is. I assume it will be before December 31. But that is only my guess based on the fact that the release candidate expires then.

After update to CC from CS6 multi-camera playback/edit now glitchy

I finally made the move from CS6 to CC last week and now I am diving back in to some projects that were already in progress during the upgrade (which went smoothly).
However, I am now finding that my ability to playback multicam clips for edit is greatly degraded, with lag, hanging and "not responding" pauses really slowing me down. I haven't crashed it yet, but as the problem becomes more clear to me I'll update this thread.
Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone have a clue they can loan me?
I am running CC on Win7sp1 with 6GB RAM and an NVIDIA Quadro 2000 GPU. Nothing about my workflow or raw media (Canon XF) has changed except the CC update.

Sooo... This problem is still plaguing me, and shunting all of my productions through FCPX is not a sustainable solution! Besides I am paying for this!
Let me clarify the outline of the issue - although I once assumed that my problem was associated with a widely bemoaned .MFX media error extant before the last PrProCC update, I can now say that my .MXF problems were only a subsidiary issue. My problem (sometimes identified in the event viewer in CC as "audio dropout in adobe player") is a HANG.
Today I am working in PrPro CS6.0.5 (under my CC subscription) and here is what I see: Occurring every 10-25 seconds of playback (multicam editing), it lasts 4-10 seconds (screen freezes, audio freezes) and then resumes from the moment of the hang. PrPro then executes any keystrokes that happened during the hang (eg. save, pause playback, or cut to a diff. cam. angle). In the resource monitor, I see two kinds of hangs: 1) CPU activity drops to zero and then surges before the moment of recovery, but CPU and disc I/O never approach capacity. Curiously, RAM (used physical memory) also notches down to 0, then immediately comes back up to the previous level. 2) CPU and disc activity both surge to capacity at the moment of the freeze and stay up near full bore for the duration and for several more seconds, while RAM holds steady. In this variation of the hang, the number of instances of "adobe premiere pro.exe" in the "Disk" window multiplies to 25-30 or more, then after recovery returns to the normal 4-6 instances.
Clearing/deleting media cache seems to make no change.

CS6 cannot be upgraded. If you join the Creative Cloud and download PhotoshopCC2014 you get it with the 3D features.

When I login, I can see that my serial numbers are there, so it must have registered correctly.
