Update ifolder 3.7.2 (opensource) to 3.8.4 (novell version)
Hello everyone!
Is there a way to update my current ifolder-installation (3.7.2 - open source, running on SLES 10 SP2) to the current novell version 3.8.4??? Some users have big troubles to sync there files!

I've asked Novell (in response to another such request) though note that
3.8.4 has it's own issues ...

iPod 4,1 will not update to iOS 7. I updated my iMac to 10.9.1 (maverick). Latest Numbers version on iMac is not compatible with Numbers on iPod. Ideas? Can I go back a version with Numbers? I downloaded old version of Numbers 2.0.1 from DVD but with both versions the 2.0.1 will not open. So both versions are present but only the new version functions. How do I update from MAC OS X 10.6.8 to a later version? The software I'm trying to run indicated I needed MAC OS X 10.7 or later.
Open the Mac App Store and try downloading Yosemite. If you get told it's incompatible, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Xeon or Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) CPU and 2GB of RAM, and if it does, click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
Back up your data and check your applications for compatibility before upgrading. In particular, Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC programs such as versions of Microsoft Office prior to 2008.

I get this error message: Something is preventing Firefox from updating securely. Please make sure that you have the latest version of Firefox. I have uninstalled and re-installed. It did not work. Support tells me to click on Firefox at the top. I have no word at the top which says Firefox. I have the Firefox icon.
This issue can be caused by the presence of leftover files in the Firefox program folder (defaults\pref) like a file firefox.js that overrides the update URL with a wrong link.
Do a clean reinstall and be sure to remove the Firefox program folder.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

I have an I Pod Nano and would get messages to update my software. In my I Tunes I have 1,900 songs but after the updates it will only sync 933 songs. My current software version is 1.0.2. What am I doing wrong or is it something in the software. I have not done anything different in my I Tunes and all songs are checked. Could someone please help or advise me what to do?

My I Pod is still connected Clicked on "On this Ipod" Music 938 Songs 2.2 days So my question to you is if I have 1,909 songs on my ITunes how come only 938 transferred to my IPod. I checked my IPod and it shows only 938 songs transferred. This did not happen before until I Tunes asked me if I wanted to update to a newer version. When updating to itune 10.5 I get this error message ,older version of bonjour can not be removed, and older version of apple mobile support cannot be removed, any one know how to fix this.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.) -

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

HI, sadly 10.5.8 doesn't support the newest iTunes.
First you need to research all the problems people are having with the higher OSX versions, & make sure you have a bootable clone of what you have just in case.
then you must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.

I have experienced this problem since purchasing a brand new MacBook in October 2012, basically the App Store permanently displays "1 Update Available" for iTunes 10.7 but clicking the "Update" button only results in the following error "A server with the specified hostname could not be found.(-1003)" so I have always had to go around the App Store & download & install iTunes updates directly from the iTunes webpage. I am currently running the latest version of iTunes 11.0.5 (5) & what I believe is the latest version of OS X 10.8.4 (12E55) & I simply wish to stop the App Store displaying this update that doesn't work anyway & relates to a year old version of iTunes!!!
Note: It may or may not be of importance but the same problem was also happening for iPhoto & iMovie but I was able to locate fixes for these issues which entailed changing a filename in both applications' "Contents" folders from "_MASReceipt" to "_MASReceipt_FAULTY" (although I believe I could have renamed it anything!) I obviously tried a similar thing for iTunes & App Store separately but unlike iMovie & iPhoto which were fixed immediately the recommended changes were made, these modifications did not resolve the issue which persists to this day & isn't critical but is just annoying!!!Search for "iTunes" in Spotlight and make sure you don't have an outdated copy lying around, perhaps on a backup volume.

- The 2G iPod can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. It does not have the hardware to support a higher iOS version.
- Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.
- You can only download the current version from the App store.
