Bonjour J'ai installé Adobe Acrobat reader 11 11.0.2 sur mon PC Windows 7 édition familiale Premium
Mais ADOBE me propose des UPdate que je n'arrive pas à installer il me précise erreur 1648 :Aucune séquence valide n'a été trouvée pour l'ensemble des mise à jour
D'autre part j'ai souvent des problèmes pour IMPRIMER des documents en .pdf
J'ai essayé de supprimer Acrobat reader pour pouvoir le réinstaller = impossible !
j'ai essayé l'outil de désinstallation windows installer cleanup sans succès
QUE FAIRE ?

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.htmlThen, you can download the full offline Reader installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

IPhoto update impossible after upgrading to Mountain Lion?

I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion today and when I subsequently went into the iCloud settings I was surprised to learn my version (9.1.3) of iPhoto was not capable of supporting iCloud. The information stated if iPhoto had not been installed from the App Store, then one should go the the apple icon in the top left corner and select "Software Update" from there. When I do that, it is reported I do not have an update available. However, if I open iPhoto and check for an update from its menu, it indicates an update (two, actually) is available but when I click the "Open Software Update" button, I am directed back to the App Store where...no update available is the information provided.
I would really like to use iCloud Photo Stream and is one of the reasons I ponied up $20 to "upgrade" to Mountain Lion. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I have been a MS/Windows user for 20+ years and this initial exposure to difficulties with the Mac OS is not what I expected.

Please read this whole message before doing anything. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it. The purpose of this test is to determine whether your problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Try the download while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Our iPod touch 4th generation 8GB will only update to iOS 4.2.1. Are further updates impossible?

It's just been updated and restored using iTunes. That went well, but iTunes now says the iPod software is up to date with 4.2.1, although we wanted to get a more advanced iOS so the iPod touch would be able to run the SiriusXM app.

A 4G can go as hig as iOS 6.1.3. You update via iTunes
iOS 4: Updating your device to iOS 5 or later
You need iTunes 10.7 or later on your computer.
You do have a 4G iPod, right? The 4G has cameras. Otherwise you have a 2G and those can only go to 4.2.1

Update impossible on the new MBP Retina?

Hi! I got my new MBP Retina two weeks ago and since then I tried to update it several times, but there's always an error message saying "the package is broken" or something like this when I reboot it.
I mean it does try to install it when rebooting but it fails everytime.I tried to download every package from Apple website separately and install them apart with the same failure everytime. I'm wondering where the error is!!
I consider restore my session but if you happen to know anything before I do that it would be awesome and perhaps save me a great amont of time! Thanks a lot!

[Solved] CS4 - Updates impossible

Hi all (and happy new year)
I'm currently trying to update Photoshop and it always fail. ( Note that I use a french version, so my translation of the menu/terms might be slightly different)
Here is what I do:
I'm using the Help -> Updates... menu, then I wait a little bit for the update search.
Next I have a windows confirming that I have 4 updates availables for 179,3 Mo.
If I go in the preference, the download path is set to the default: C:\Users\Claude\AppData\Local\Adobe\Updater6\Install
Now if I click the Download and install updates button, it start downloading the Adobe Extention Manager CS4 2.1 update, and so on with the next 4 updates ( photoshop 11.0.1 update, and the camera raw, etc.)
Near the end of the download Windows 7 ask me for a authorisation confirmation, wich I accept. Then a Dos Prompt box open and close really quick, and I get an error from the updater tool saying that the update failed and to try again later with the 3 choice that doesn't help: Retry, Skip, Cancel -- btw, it reming the the famous Retry/Ignore/Fail os our old MS-DOS .
All the update fail ( If I skip, the second will fail, then the 3rd, etc.)
If I retry, it will also fail again.
The updater give absolutly no detail on what the problem could be.
Few notes:
- I've tryed the update the antivirus ON and also OFF
- It's a brand new 2 days old formated installation of windows 7; so no malware yet.
- Note that I also have photoshop CS3 installed on the same machine.
Pre-Edit ( I understood before posting, but as everything is typed, I'll post with the solution):
The error is asking to close photoshop, and not that it's an error while updating photoshop.
So yes, you must open photoshop to start the update, and you must then close the program when the update start. The updater will not do it by himself.
Hope this will help 1 or 2 people out there !

My suggestion is to go to the Adobe Update Downloads section for CS4:

Choose the download you need... save it to a location you know... close Photoshop... run the download. All will be well...

5530 software update impossible

I recently bought a 5530 and I wanted to update the software. I saw on the phone that there is a important update but I can not start the installing. I also tried this using the PC but Nokia but this also doesn't work.

Unwanted Emails and Updates - Impossible to Stop?

Despite having changed my preferences several weeks ago so that I no longer get notices of new conversations or updates to conversations, I continue to be bombarded and my mailbox overflowing with unwanted communications. HOW do I put a stop to this?

It only takes one organisation to sell on your email address to a marketing company, and your email address will then be on marketing lists for life.
As you have discovered, they can get around all the rules in both the UK and USA by pretending to be a different country every time.
You can try marking them as spam, and it might block a few of them. But ultimately, you can never get off the spammers' email lists without changing your email address and then only giving that out to a select few people. And even that won't work if hackers gain access to the email account of someone you know.
TL;DR* There's nothing you can do. Live with it.

IPhoto Update impossible to download from App Store

In Sep 2011 I purchased a new iMa , which included a pre-installed version of iLife (and iPhoto).
SInce the recent update, coinciding with the launch of the iCloud, although my iMac offers me the updaye through the App store, trhe store refuses as it claims that "You have updates available for other accounts. To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it."
I am baffled. I have tried signing out of the App Store, signing in and all manner of things. It always comes back to this message.
Has anyone a solution?

After another 2 1/2 hours this afternoon with two very professional members of staff on the Apple phone lines, a Senior Support Manager eventually threw in the towel and indicated that he would be sending me free-of-charge(!), a DVD version of iLife.
This would enable me to load iPhoto and any future updates would be updated via Apple Central, rather than the App Store.
Can't fault them for their efforts and their eventual solution. Pity it took so interminably long on both Saturday and this afternoon.

The latest MiniBridge update impossible to reach

There was an announcement here http://forums.adobe.com/message/3622155#3622155 the other day about an update to MiniBridge for CS5.
What do you do when you follow the procedure explained in that post and it says that my application is not online? Though my Mac IS online and I am even logged into my CS Live account....

Could you please follow the steps below to check?
Quit all CS5 applications.
Open the Apple Property List Editor (supplied with the Apple SKD) or other property list editor application..
Open the file [Startup Disk]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeOnlineHelp.plist.
Select Root to see the subentries.
Locate the string object AdobeOnlineDefault. Check whether this key exists. If exists, is its value "0"? 0 means CS Live online access is diabled. You can remove this key from the plist.
Save the com.adobe.AdobeOnlineHelp.plist file.
Quit the plist editor.

I have tried all that I know even deleting and re -installing it within the app on App World nothing worked . Its v1.0.1.9 the latest is v1,2,0.6.

In some rare cases, it has been discovered that updates (from AppWorld obtained apps) require additional steps in order to install the update. If the update will not install, please attempt this:
Remove the app
KB10040 How to view or remove installed applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
AppWorld > MyWorld > highlight the app (if it shows at all, in any state) > > Delete
Use either your PC (via Mass Storage Mode) or your BB (via Media > > Explore) and find any references (folders, files) to the app. Delete whatever you find. Search both your Device Memory as well as your Media Card.
Re-install the app:

You might also introduce Batt Pull reboots between steps, even if in addition to those it may prompt you for.

E71 Maps Delete or Update - Impossible

It's time for some useful help. Well I was looking for better maps and I found several latest versions of OVI, Nokia Maps that E71 supports. Installed OVI and when I started Maps there was only my position without any streets and marks, just green background and red spot. Zoom in and Zoom out seemed to be just fine but again green screen only. Then I tryed to install other map. Everything seemed to be ok BUT now I can not even start maps application: When it starts loading to 30% appears as follows - "Cannot open application. Install latest version from nokia.com/maps". I tryed to remove it, to replace, to update. I did a master reset (phone format). Now I have no option to remove Maps and the problem is the same. How can I use now Maps?

I presume you installed Ovi Maps. Did you also download the latest version of Nokia Map Loader for Ovi Maps and reinstall all your map data as well?

Impossible to Update - Impossible to restore

I love my Classic 160 BUT…
It's not possible to update to version 1.2!
I always have the message: "the iPod could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (1408).
It's not possible to restore to original settings!
I always get the message: "The iPod could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1430)
If I don't want no Cover FLow I ALWAYS get the message: "The settings were not saved for the iPod because it could not be found" !!!!!!!
What gives?
Is that software made by Microsoft? !!!!!!!
And then it's ejecting and resynching and ejecting again… and resynching… and ejecting again… ad so on forever!
I also have the iPod saying "Connected Eject Before Disconnecting" BUT iTunes doesn't displays the iPod as available!!!!
It's tiring and it's not like Apple hardware and software are supposed to work (and I DO KNOW what I'm talking about: I've been a Mac user since 1984!)
Is there any way to ERASE this F**** iPod when it's not connected to iTunes?

everytime I try to update the iPod Classic 160 firmware, it returns me the message: unable to update : unkown error 1435.
I tried to check the box mount it as a hard drive, but it does not work, the box comes back unchecked and the iPod is ejected.
I tried to restore it, but another error occured.
I tried to do the same with my previous iPod 5G (for its new firmware, with the same results.
What will happen to my iPhone when the new firmware will be released?
Of course, no relevant help from the call center: did you plug it? Have you tried the 5R? did you brush your teeth?

Asus Update won't install with X-Fi - some discoveries and possible new

To my discovery:
Up until now when I've reinstalled WinXP, I've always used the CD that came with my X-Fi Fatalty card to install drivers and software. Doing this, even when I updated drivers with the latest one from web, still made the Asus Update impossible to install, or impossible to run if installed before X-Fi.
The last time I reinstalled WinXP, I did NOT use the X-Fi CD, and did not install anything else but the drivers directly from the web. This time, NO problems at all with installing Asus Update or running it.
This leads me to believe that it is the X-Fi *software* that is the problem, not the X-Fi drivers, not Asus, not the other products.
So basically:
X-Fi Drivers + Software (without Mediasource installed)
and
X-Fi Drivers + Software (with Mediasource installed)
messes things up, but:
X-Fi Drivers (at least 5. drivers) as only install, no software from the CD installed
works perfectly.

Makes sense to me since I have 2 partitions for my OS one is XP Home where I used the CD and the other is XP Pro 64bit where there were no drivers at release and can only use the update from the web. When I updated my BIOS for my ASUS A8N32-SLI board I had to do it in XP Pro 64 since it wouldn't run on XP home. Nice another fun issue with X-FI as if the crackling wasn't bad enough.
