Update information for podcast published in iTunes

I've been successful in getting the podcast published in iTunes however some of the information which are iTunes specific tage are empty. I would like to update that information without having to upload the mp3 file, which it will NOT do anyway since it already exist. How can the published information be updated?

Although I haven't actual experience yet in publishing to iTunes, I would guess that to update your podcast series artwork there, it is simply a question of dragging a new image to the top-most placeholder in your iWeb podcast page. As the message says when you mouse-over that placeholder: "Drag a new image here to replace it." ...Then re-publish your site to .Mac.
The next step is extracted from someone else's post:
...Then you are supposed to ping iTunes and check back in an hour.

The "YOURFEEDHERE" is where you put your feed number from iTunes. It's in your acceptance email that iTunes sent you when your podcast was posted.

Aperture 3.03 when quitting gets stuck in "Updating information for preview

Hi there,
i notice that maybe 3 out of 10 times when i quit aperture, it hangs.
There is a progress bar at the top saying "updating information for preview images" (translated, so the english original may be a bit different) but the bar wont move, the disc doesnt make any sounds and when i look in the actvity monitor it says aperture has around 35 threads and uses 1% of cpu power.
i usually then force quite aperture after some time.
if seems to occur more often after emptying the trash.
any ideas?
i get rather frustrated with force quittung becaus i get the feeling its no good for my library, however i run into problems repairing my library as explain elsewhere.

Changing artwork for a podcast published in iTunes

Hello,
I recently created my own website in iWeb and published it to my .Mac account. Then I added a few podcasts created with GarageBand, they are also published on my .Mac website.
Then I submitted the podcast to iTunes. iTunes "took over" the artwork from the website with no author information, and there was no way in changing that during the submission. The podcast got approved but now the artwork that is used in iTunes is not really what I want. iTunes also lists "Unknown" as author.

Is there a way that I can change that? Yes, I have read the techspecs provided by Apple, but I do not really want to go down to bits and bytes and, above all, want that everythings continues to run automatically. I do not want to make manual changes to code everytime I republish the site.

Can't Update Information for ONE album?

I'm having a problem with iTunes. I can't update the information (album art, album name, album artist, etc.) for the album. Well, when I click "Get Info" for the album I can edit the information, but nothing changes. Further, I can't change the information whatsoever when I click "Get Info" for an individual song of that album. When I click "Get Info" for an individual song of that album, I can't even EDIT the information. However, if I click "Get Info" for the album, I can edit the information, but nothing changes when I click "OK".
Just to be sure, I tried changing some information for other albums and songs from other albums, and everything works fine. It's just this one album that's giving me trouble. Any suggestions? I really appreciate the help!

If your song is not of file type ACC, then use the iTunes > File > Create New Version > Create ACC version.
Then you should be allowed to add Artwork to the ACC version.

How to update information, on podcasts? Name, etc.

I recently posted a pod cast but ended up not getting the title I wanted. I also would like to add some other detail type of information that has been left blank like "By". Anyone know if we can edit our podcast page through iTunes not just the RSS feed?

iTunes takes all its information from the feed, and it is only in the feed that you can make these changes: presumably you are using a program or online service to create your feed (as opposed to hand-writing it) and you should be able to make any changes you want there and republish the feed. It will take the Store a couple of days or so to catch up.

Getting Demographic Information for Podcaster

There's a SDK method because you have to set it before you can get it.
I'm assuming you haven't set any printer options for those FullClient documents.
To see if printer setting has been set, check getFullClientPrinterOptions().isEnabled(). If false, then there's no guarantee any of the properties for the IFullClientPrinterOptions have been set.
It's different for Crystal Reports, since Crystal Reports are strongly tied to the printer against which the report was designed, so it's always there (or set to a virtual "No Printer"). Desktop Intelligence (FullClient) is not.

Get buttons for podcasts disappeared after iTunes update

I updated iTunes to 10.5.3.3 the other day, and now the GET buttons for my subscribed podcasts have disappeared. Has anyone had this problem? If so, how do you fix it?

When this happened to me, a while ago, I downloaded iTunes (again) and ran the Repair option.
So, do not uninstall the current iTunes, but do download iTunes again. Run the installer and at some stage, you should see a Repair option. Use that.

Search results for podcasts not matching iTunes profiles

There are podcasts on iTunes that have different titles and artwork in search results than their iTunes profile pages. For example, the podcast listing for LightTalk podcast: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=333378833 displays the correct title and artwork, but when searching the iTunes Store for 'LightTalk', the artwork is missing and the title is incorrect (looks like the title is the author's name in the search results). This podcast was submitted to iTunes about 2 weeks ago. There are other podcasts having the same problem and suspect the problem is isolated to only new listings.
This is a problem on both Windows and Mac versions of iTunes.

I to have the very same problem! search results do not match the feed. Its been 1 Week now, i've added 2 more podcast since feed was submitted, the feed page works perfect, picture, artist, desciption, and updates within hours... perfect!
The problem is how often dose the search index get updated?

I am in the process of making one tool which will display the number of uncompressed requests in the cube along with the traffic signal indication whether the displayed data is for the cube having stats updated or not.But I am facing one problem.For status of the cube I am using one standard FM 'RSDU_INFOCUBE_ANALYZE_CHECK', which takes infocube name as input ang gives the status of the cube ie G(GREEN) or Y(YELLOW) or R(RED).
But that function module is not returning the proper value.I mean even if DB stats are not refreshed in the cube(which we find in the PERFORMANCE TAB of MANAGE CUBE)it is returning the value GREEN so the output which I get from the Tool is not for the Cube having stats refreshed.
Kindly suggest me the solution for How can I get the traffic signal to be YELLOW for the Cube having stats not refreshed and traffic signal should be GREEN for the Cube having stats refreshed.

Can't Update Details for my Music Via iTunes Anymore

I used to be able to update the info/details for my music (e.g., artist names, ratings, etc.) via iTunes, but it doesn't work anymore. In the past I'd click on the music tab underneath my phone's tab when I opened iTunes. I'd then scroll through the music and make changes for spelling, etc. Using one band as an example, it's all spelled exactly the same on my computer in both music tabs (under my phone and on my computer), but it has various spellings still on my phone. So when I type in the band name on my phone, I have to pick one of the spellings, and therefore can't listen to all of that band's songs on shuffle. Also, when I rate a song on my phone, it no longer shows when I plug into iTunes. In the past, I uploaded every song I have rated 3 stars or above. I then rated songs 1 star while using my iPhone if I want to delete them later. But this just doesn't work anymore. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

"Most people" do NOT have this problem at all, which is why Apple isn't responding.
This is the fix:
Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

What happens when you try to change your card details ?
You should be able to change your payment details on your computer's iTunes by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your iPhone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and select 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

Updates information for App store

I bought Wallpaper wizard Lite, Monitor centor and other applications.
But Wallpaper wizard Lite and Monitor centor shows "Update" on the shopping list tab, but no update indication on update tab.
So I delete Wallpaper wizard Lite and Monitor, and re-install them.
But they still shows "update" in the shopping list, but no update in the update tab!
This happens only for Wallpaper wizard Lite and Monitor! this was also happened on Lion!

Is this a second hand Mac? If so, you need to erase the Mac and install the version of OS X that shipped installed on the Mac from the factory. Then you set the Mac up as new with your Apple ID.

Doesn't work .

Notification to update information for an email account I don't use.

Hello. Since I switched from my Q10 to the Classic I keep getting updates for an email address that I no longer use and hav not synched with my Classic. I may have had it synched with the Q10 at one point but I deleted it some time ago and never received a notification on the Q10. When I try to open the notification I get an error message. When I delete the notification I get it again the next day. How do I stop this? Thank you.

It tells me the old appleID has been disabled, I reset my password but the old ID keeps popping up asking for a password when I try to update my apps

Auto-updated to Safari 3.1 and Itunes 7, now neither opens

I proceeded with an update prompt for Safari 3.1, Itunes 7.6.2, and I believe a Quicktime update. For whatever reason, the installer didn't finish with the Safari update. And now neither that nor Itunes will even open. I tried downloading and re-installing them again. Itunes will install, but still won't open. Safari on the other hand can't even be installed because when I click to install it, a message comes up that says the "installer has quit unexpectedly". And that's about as far as I get with it.
Any help or solution would be greatly appreciated.

Easiest path to sanity is a trip to one of the Apple Store in the Seattle area, where someone at the Genius Bar will help you. Best to make an appointment in advance to avoid waiting.
