Update/insert/delete data from xcelsius to Database via web service

Hi,
I need to create dashboard that go function can update/insert/delete data send to Database thru web services, as i know got 2 xcelsius add-on software which support those of function InfoBurst and flynet

Hi,
As of now in Xcelsius/Dashboard Design there is no feature or functionality to insert/update/delete data from database.
Solution:
Create a Web service in let’s say C# or Java, which will perform insert/update/delete operation.
In Xcelsius add Web Service connection and user above web service.
Xcelsius Web Service connection provides option to pass input values to a Web Service (Input Pane) and get the result (Output values pane).
We can pass values to be written to the database as a input to Web Service via Web Service connection from Xcelsius and write data to the database.
Note:
Performing delete operation from Xcelsius Dashboard could be risky and may delete important data from database. I would not prefer giving delete option/functionality in Xcelsius dashboard.

I have created the following trigger below but my friend who is a DBA told me that this is not correct and I should be using the inserted table when creating this trigger. I would like AdventureWorks2012_new DB to be updating/inserting/deleting data from

How could I synchronize databases via web services

I have two web sites. The first has been build in jsp. The second has been build in php. Each of these sites has database mysql.
I have managed to communicate these two web sites via web services.
I would like someone to tell me how could I syncronize these two databases via web services. There is something specific procedure?

Insert /delete data from SAP Z table to Oracle table and opposite

Can u help me write this FM from the SAP side?
So, I have two tables ZTABLE in SAP and Oracle table ORAC.
Let's put three columns in each of them, for example
TEL1
TEL2
ADRESS
NAME
where TEL field is primary from ZTABLE to ORAC...
(in FM there shoud be abap code for writing data in ZTABLE after we press some pushbutton made in sap screen painter..)
for example, when we write new record in ZTABLE

this data shoud be inserted in Oracle table ORAC.
when we write new record in Oracle table for example

this data shoud be inserted in ZTABLE.
Field TEL1 can be only of two values 01 or 02, other combination is not valid...
I must have all data from Oracle table ORAC in ZTABLE and opposite.
It should be the same scenario for DELETE...
And this communication should be online between sap and table in oracle database...
Can u help me from sap side? and give idea how to configure on oracle side??

I dont know if we can directly connect to a oracle database ( wait for the answers from others on this )
but in XI we have the JDBC adaptor to insert and retrieve data.
so for the outbound from SAP the flow can be something like this (with XI in landscape):
1) You have a screen to maintain a new entry / delete an entry
2) On save , this record gets saved or deleted from the Ztable in SAP
3)) In the same screen you can call a proxy class-method (generated using SPROXY transaction ) to send the record to XI.
4) XI to format it and insert into the oracle table

Need some urgent help.
While uploading data to infotype 6 (addresses) in subtype 4(emergency address), I have uploaded the data twice and it has created a duplicate record now in table PA0006.
I have done this in the quality server. Will this effect the user acceptance testing(UAT) in anyway and how can I delete this data from table PA0006

1 .Check what is the time constraint for address infotype .
2.If it is 2 , it would have delimited the record , if it is 3 it would have created another record , if it is one there will be no problem as it would have deleted the recored provided u have given the dates into consideration .
3.It will not be a problem for UAT . If it is not required do a scat for deletion of records .

create a f.n mod in se37 and make it rfc enabled. ur import parameters are Emp_Id, Name, Address and TASK and u can have an export parameter like result which gives the status of the update. based on task u can insert using keyword INSERT....and update using UPDATE or MODIFY and delete using DELETE. these keyword are not compelte with syntax but need to refer the SAP documentation.

Inserting data from Textarea into database

I am collecting data from a html form which has textarea and processing it through servlet.
If I enter text in textarea without breaks(without pressing enter tab) it is being collected and correctly put into database.
If I enter text with breaks (with pressing enter tabs for entering in separate lines) it is being collected correctly but only one line goes into database.
How to insert entire text from textarea into database.

I have a keyword and need to search against a table containing 100 fileds.
select * from table where keyword like '%"+keyword+"%'
searches only in one field. If I want the search to be performed against all the fields in the table, Is there any solution.
What I am doing at present is putting all the fields data in a new field and performing like operation on that field.
but this is very slow.

I have excel which contains data lets say employee details,
I have one upload button ,which is used to upload excel and then i want to map the cell of excel to the database column and through plsql code i want to upload the excel data into database.
In short ,i want to upload the data from excel into database using plsql code,
or suggest me any other way to do this.(except the data load method present in apex)

BW Statistics: Deleting Data from InfoCubes.

Hi,
I want to see data in BW Statistics: Deleting Data from InfoCubes.
I am working on BI 7.
I have set the infoprovider in Tcode RSDDSTAT.Marked 2 Infocube statistics ( X) and OLAP(2).
Already activated the BI Statistics.
I am deleting data from one of the cube . But when I go to cube 0BWTC_C11(BW Statistics: Deleting Data from InfoCubes)
It is not showing any data .
I can't see any data in RSDDSTATDELE table also
Do I need to do any other setting ? Am I missing any steps?
I need to dislay the log for deleted request /deleted data ?
I need to display the log for deleted infoobject/infopackage also? Where can i get this ?
Pls guide .

I can not able to see in the report also . I have tried 0BWTC_C10/0BWTC_C10_Q251 to 254.
Whenever I am doing to delete it individullay it goes to table SDDSTATDELE .But whenever I am deleting whole data from cube or request ID it is not updating table RSDDSTATDELE.( which is further used to get data )
I got this from SAP help .
The characteristic can have the following characteristic values C,N,D and T:
C (Choose): The system automatically chooses the best delete mode. This is N or D.
N (Create New): If over 10% of an InfoCubes data records are to be deleted, the system replaces the InfoCube fact table with a table with data records that are not to be deleted.
If you want to delete more than 10% of the records, the system creates a new table, copies the data records you want to keep to the new table, deletes the old table and then renames the new table.
D (Delete): If you want to delete less than 10% of the data records, the system deletes these individual records directly from the InfoCube fact table.
T (Truncate): If you want to delete all data records, the system deletes all data records from the tables, but retains the tables in the database.
So how to see these records? I am doing full upload to cube 0BWTC_C11(BW Statistics: Deleting Data from InfoCubes).
Before this do I need to extract data for other CUBE also.

Unable to Delete Data from PSA

Hi Experts,
I have a process chain which delete data from PSA on weekly basis . it running good . Since one month one of data target PSA data not deleting.
it gives me error like DDL time(___1): .........2 milliseconds
Delete request REQU_03RM2LOJ284N3GLM7Q574WLAO from PSA 8Z0MM_O39_OA: Error - subrc: 2
When i am tring to delete manually it gives me above error only.
I used programme (RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY)
for deleteting PSA Data this programme gives me errors request already deleted from data base. But still those request available when i am looking into PSA data.
it's happen only quality system not in the Production.

when i am looking into system there is no programeme with name(SAP_PSA_ZEROCORREC) But another programme RSAR_PSA_CLEANUP_DIRECTORY is available i tried with these programme for deleting PSA it gives me error like request deleted from database.
But it gives me an error indicator only.
i am tried to delete manually by selectiong those request from PSA it gives me error DDL Time (______1) 2 milliseconds.

Unable to delete data from a partition

Hi,
Unable to delete data from a partition
I am using the command as:
ALTER TABLE TEST DROP PARTITION DATE_20090820090000
Its giving 0 rows deleted.Bu there are 200 rows for the Partition.
The partition is getting deleted but the data remains.
I want a command where the data in the partition also to be deleted along with partition.
Any help will be needful for me

For the first time when i complied i got the errors as :

So i logged in as sys & grant the permission to execute on UTL_FILE to ridb (user):
SQL Statement:
grant execute on utl_file to ridb
So, it got compiled successfully but when i execute it gives me error as:
Source does not have a runnable target.
What does this mean?
So I browse through forum & i got to know that i need to initial the UTL_FILE_DIR ="C:/OracleProject" in init.ora
So can i edit the init.ora with notepad.When i tried to do that it says permission denied
In my system it shows the init.ora file in path C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\config\scripts
but there is also other file initXETemp in the same path do i need to do the changes in it.
I have tried even editing the SPFILE as mentioned below:
C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\dbs\SPFILEEXE - I had edit this file using notepad & set the value of UTL_FILE_DIR ="C:/OracleProject". So next time when i restarted i'm unable to log on to the database.
So i had reinstall the software again.
Could you please let me know how to proceed..

Deleting data from a cube

Hi,
I added a info object to a dimension in a cube. now i want to delete the info object from the cube. But since the cube has data in it, i cannot do it unless i delete all the data from the cube. When i select 'delete data', i'm given 2 options, delete fact table only and 2nd option delete fact table and dimension table. what is the difference between the two and what option should i select.
i then need to load the cube back from ODS. the cude right now is setup in the proce4ss chain to do a delta load every day. would this be affected after i delete the data and load it again from the ODS?

The way I understand your question is...
1) You have data in the cube from which you have to remove an infoobject
Ans: To acheive this, you have to delete the data from the cube
2) You have deleted the data and then deleted the IO, activated the cube and the update rules from the ODS which feeds this cube
3) Now you have to reload the deleted data from the ODS. But you already did an init and you are loading delta's from this ODS to the cube through process chain.
Ans: As you've already deleted the whole data from the cube, do a full load from the ODS (you can do this even when delta initialization is done) to your cube by creating a new infopackage under the export datasource of the ODS. This will capture all the records from the ODS. Then to be on the safe side so as not to load any duplicate records...go the infopackage that you've used to do the full load (you can even create a new Info package)...SCHEDULER -> Initilization options for source system -> Delete the existing INIT -> Then do Init again...
Leave the delta infopackage as is and let the process chain take care of the deltas from now on...

Deleting data from a table where there are no indexes on the table

Hi
We have one interface program for one time process.When I was testing the process it was taking too much time to load the data around 1000 records.
it happens in 2 steps
1 puts into stage table
2 puts into base table
in the process/package I have delete statement that deletes data from stage table before each process.
Stage table did not have any indexes but the base table has(obvisiosly)
any idea?
please help me on this.

Please post the application/database details along with the OS.
Is this interface program a seeded or custom one?
Please enable trace on this concurrent program as per (Note: 296559.1 - FAQ: Common Tracing Techniques within the Oracle Applications 11i/R12) and generate the TKPROF to find out why it takes that long to load/delete the data.
