Update ios6: i lost my canadian App store ?
Hi, I just update to the ios 6 on my Ipad 2. I lost my Canadian App store. When I tried to updates some apps, they told me "you must swith to canadian store".
I don't know what to do ??
Try this:
1. App Store>Feature>Apple ID (at bottom of page)
2. Tap on Apple ID>View Apple ID
4. Enter your password
5. Country/Region>Change Country or Region

After moving from Canada to the US, getting a new iPhone 5C, and restoring my backup from iCloud, I can't update my apps. I get an error message that my account is not valid in the Canadian App store and I must change to the US store. How do I do that?
Change here:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
You must have a verified billing address & be located in the country whose store you are trying to use. -
How come when you had updated & installed ios6 to your ipad the apps store & itunes is not available in the Philippines.......please consider Filipino ipad & iphone users who have been downloading latest apps from store everyday...need your PROMPT ACTION
Thank you for your responses.. To Sjazbec, At least you guys in Germany and the Netherlands have some kind of posters from Apple to let you know that the feature is not available.
There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..

How can you change apps store when you travel around the world?
After upgrading to IOS6, suddently my iPad has switch me to the greek apps store instead of leaving me into my canadian apps store.
Therefore, I cannot upgrade 60+ apps on my iPad.
Does someone know how to revert this situation?

Updates don't clear from the app store
This is not so much a question on how to fix, but possible bug issue. In the past when you would update and app, when the app update completed and you closed the app store, the next time you opened the app store it would be empty. Now that I'm on iOS 7, I close the app store and come back, the updated apps are still on the update screen with the date they were updated. Unfortunately, they don't clear when you sync then with iTunes and it appears that they eat up precious disk space on the device.
I haven't added anything new, but have 9 updates and lost nearly 400MB in the process.This is not so much a question on how to fix, but possible bug issue. How the heck do I go the Canadian App Store? I cannot open the app store with a Canadian id (from the settings); but if I use an American id, I'm not allowed to buy anything. Somebody please help me.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

After I updated lion to 10.7.4, app store does not recognize my ID APPLE and it unable to connect me to app store in order to update/download apps? What have I to do? I have the same problem with mac mini e mac book air. Please help me!

my internet connection is ok, mail is ok, but app store after 3 resets does not recognize my ID and it says "connection is not possible". Why? I bought this MAC from a family member. Did everything need to change items to my apple id. Today I did the update for IOS Yosemite now the app store is auto filling with someone else id?? But they seem to be my apps??
If you didn’t erase the drive and install using you AppleID, then the OS and the purchased apps are still registered to the other AppleID. You cannot change that by logging into iCloud. Apps are forever tied to the AppleID used to purchase/download them.
You have to erase the drive and download/install the Apps using your AppleID. -
Error message when trying to install free iPad apps from Canadian App Store
I have an appleid for use in the Canadian App Store. I browse to the Canadian store, select a free app to install on my iPad, and get an arror message indicating that I cant use my appleid in the US store. I cant find any place where the setting might be cached. Any suggestions?

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. i keep getting banner that there is 8 apps to be updated, when i go to the App Store it says all app are updated, how do i get this to stop?
It seems that every time I start up the IPad the banner over ITunes shows 8 or more in the banner. I have completly signed off of the ipad and it still comes up. Any suggestions? It seems to have coincided with IOS 7 being released, I have not downloaded IOS 7 to my IPad or my Iphone at this time.I"m not sure exactly what to do because once I got mine sorted out I can't exactly replicate it to test it, but it's like somehow your ID gets messed up.
I tried to download an app, then Apple thought that I'd never bought anything from my device so went through the whole 'give your secret questions' thing and ended up having to call apple to get them to reset.
Long story short, the inability to update has something to do with the App Store not recognizing your device, even though part of it does recognize your device (which is why you get the little badges)
You could try downloading a free app and see if you can verify your ID. Or you can poke around in here

I just updated my ipad2 to ios7 0.2 latest update, but when I go to apps store to upgrade I don't see the upgrade button besides each app, nor when I go in for new apps I don't see free button to download new apps. Is there any setting that missed ? please help...
What do you see instead of update on the apps you are concerned about?
When updating to iOS 7 auto update for apps will be turned on. When an app has an update available your iPad will download and install the update with no input from you. Apps that have been updated by this automatic process but which have not yet been opened will show a blue dot before their name.
A record of updated apps is kept for your convenience. You can see this record by using the App Store app and select Updates, the right most choice in the bottom row.
