Update keeps popping up

I keep getting an update message asking me to approve this update. When I click on "yes" it starts downloading and then a message comes up saying I need "Solution Center CDrom" inserted in my drive to be able to do this update! I can't find a CDrom from HP that says "Solution Center". I have a HP G-71 Notebook laptop. Any Help?

I see that you are getting a update and then you get a pop up for the Solution Center Software to insert the CD. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
The Solution Center Software is the software that installs for a HP printer.
Which printer do you have? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
You can always download the software again if you don't have the CD.
Do you still have a HP printer or do you want to get rid of that message?

Everytime I check for updates (I have the setting to manual check), an alert pops up in Apple store with the phrase "Lexmark Printer Software Update 2.11" available for download.
Is there a way I can turn off this notification for Printer updates until it is resolved? It is pretty annoying.

I'm going to give that a try to see if I stop getting the constant reminder for 2.11.

Recently a software update 7.1 presented itself on my phone. Since attempting to download it, I have lost the ability to search the internet while away from my computer. As well I can't call an one. And they can't call me. The 7.1 update keeps popping up.

Since attempting to download the latest update of 7.1. the download confirmation showed a pop up saying; unable to install. Can't re attempt to install. Lost internet ability when away from computer and I can't be called, nor can I call anyone. Please, can anyone help me with this? I'll even go back to what I had, had before attempting the 7.1 download.

Sounds like your only able to use Wifi on your device currently which indicates you have lost network connection with your cellular provider ....you can call them to troubleshoot this but one common issue in some countries is that if you are on a 3G only network this can become turned off after a software update...go to settings > cellular/mobile > and see if enable 3G or enable 4G/LTE is off or on try turning it on and then power off phone and on again and this will probably fix it, so you can make calls etc and use the internet away from the computer. As for the update always do an itunes backup first and they make sure you have long enough for this update to run through on wifi and then try it again. Good Luck

All apps downloaded/purchased are tied to the apple ID used to download/purchase them.
If you change your Apple ID and do not wish to use the old apple ID and password to update them, you have to delete them and redownload or buy them under the new apple ID.

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them. You will have to delete the apps from the phone and re-purchase them using your Apple ID.

I clicked that it was OK since I could not remember the password to my old Apple ID. I then went to my settings to be sure my newer email was my Apple ID by typing in my current Apple ID and password. Also, I went to Manage my Apple ID online and my old Apple ID could not be found. Is it OK I skipped that step in the IOS 6.1 configuration? How do I get my old Apple ID to stop popping up?

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up. Did you back-up just before your software update? It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.

Outside of the contact number for that you've already used I don't know another way of direct contact. Here are some things that they may or may not of had you try that might help you. If you will go to the settings app and pick general on the right-hand side you will see accessibility. Within that you can adjust a text size make the text bowl you can also increase the contrast. You can also adjust the brightness and control panel.
As for Siri again in the settings app under general you should see Siri on the right-hand side with the switch to turn it on. If that is turned on and you're still having issues
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

I have a firefox update 27.0.1 that keeps popping up and I think its a fake and I need it removed please.

Im running vista here. A firefox 27.0.1 update notice keeps popping up by my toolbar on bottom right side of my screen.. and goes away. Moments later a big EMPTY firefox update box appears in the middle of my screen. All it lets me do is close it, but it always comes back about 2 hours later.
I think its an empty fake !!!
How do I get rid of it .... please help me.

Normally warnings are fakes but in your case I am not sure.
Your sytem info aside is indicating you are using Firefox 21, so either you are using an out of date and unsupported version of Firefox, or something is going wrong and Firefox is not reporting the correct information.
When you use the Firefox button and the help option you should get an option about firefox that confirms the version you are using.
Possibly you have security software preventing updates. Have a look at these articles then please post back and confirm what version you are using.

You cannot stop it from popping up.
it will continue every few minutes until its installed.

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.

Trying to update my app store and it keeps popping up my old email address. How can you change it to your current one? Im trying to sign in but my old one pops up and even when I type in the correct password for the old one it. Says invalid but I want my current email!? HELPPP!!

Did you update your old iTunes account or create a new one ? If you updated the old one then try logging out of your account by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. If you created a new account then you will need to continue to use the old account to download updates to its apps (or to redownload its content) - content is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it and it can't be transferred to a different account.
