Update locked up, never stopped; failed

I just ran Update in Ps, in order to get around the Lr compatability wearning re; "Ps Camera Raw plugin 7.3" that pops up when I try to send RAW files to Ps.
I clicked on all the Adobe products and after allowing it to run for several minutes I returned to find the Green progress bar at the end of the progress range, but "still upgrading". I checked the Task Manager and it showed the Upgrade Manager still "running". After about 30 I realized it was stuck to shut it down.
On the off chance that the upgrade actually occured I tried sending a Lr RAW file to Ps and got the compatability error again, saying I need to go to Ps and run Update. I went back to Ps and tried runing the Update again but now nothing happens when I click on the Update option. It appears to start, the round disk pops up, then dissappears, and nothing start.
So far I've rebooted my computer and run a restore point created before running the update.
So I can't upgrade and Lr still says I need to

If you have photoshop cs5 you can only update as far as camera raw 6.7
You can still open the images into photoshop cs5, but depending on what option you choose, there might be something that cs5 won't read.
If you choose the render in lightroom option, then the edits are baked into the file that is opened in cs5. (LR creates a file on the hard drive)
If you choose open anyway, i believe the photoshop acr does the processing and you might see some differences in the opened image (versus seen in lightroom) depending on what adjustments in LR you used.
Did you try a complete shutdown and start instead of just a restart?
I don't think the adobe forums have the option for a sig.

I would like to add:
you have incompatible software: start in SafeMode, read Woodmeister and see if it is free of issues.
Akamai is crap software needed or not, Huawei the same.
It is very possible that the keygenerator you used for generating a key for some softwares has infected your mac.
The non-regular software with the false key(s) are not compatible probably or generate malware. Luckily you can not update them automatically because the keygenerator blocked the software for contacting the developer... I propose to consider getting rid of those softwares by really good uninstalling.
You have a beautiful mac, don't degenerate it with crapped software. There are alternatives for expensive software, for example Adobe Photoshop has a free alternative (with a less beautiful interface) in GIMP. And so on.

The goal is to mount the combo update .dmg on the desktop and then open and run it. If you can't get to the desktop to begin with, that won't work. Another approach is to treat the Mac's hard disk as just another HD by using a second Mac and then connecting the problematic one via Target Disk Mode. See http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1661. Note that both Macs will need Firewire ports and you'll need a FIrewire cable to connect them. With the combo updater, one of the steps in the process is to select the drive you want to install the update on. Once you're successfully connected in Target Disk Mode, the problematic drive should appear in the list.
If that doesn't work or Target Disk Mode isn't possible, the only other solution is to boot into Recovery Mode; see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4718. Note that once booted into recovery mode, you have access to Disk Utility, and you should try running Repair Disk after selecting the bad drive to see if something's wrong with the directory which could be fixed. When you select that drive, you should also look at S.M.A.R.T. Status at the bottom of the window. It should say "Verified." If it says Failing or Failed, the HD needs to be replaced.
If the HD is OK, all that's left that I can think of is to reinstall Lion using Recovery Mode. I hope you've maintained current backups or at least complete Time Machine backups. Of course, if you have a backup and the backup is bootable, you could boot from that, wipe the internal HD clean, and clone the backup onto the internal HD.

You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for a 30 seconds. If that doesn't help try using another HDMI cable.

I keep an old wired keyboard and wired mouse for just such emergencies, but that is not helping you now. There are at least a couple of things that could account for the disappearance of the Bluetooth preference pane.
There may have been a glitch in the installation.
The preference pane will not be displayed if the bluetooth transceiver was not detected when the computer started.
This may seem too obvious, but try completely powering down using the power button on your Mac mini. Wait at least 30 seconds for everything in the mini to fully discharge. While you are waiting to restart, check/replace the batteries in your wireless keyboard and mouse or trackpad. Restart using the power button on the Mac mini.
If that does not work almost anything else will require the use of a wired keyboard and mouse. For years I have kept a wired keyboard and mouse around for just such an emergency, but in a fit of spring cleaning they were discarded. I ended up having to buy a cheap USB mouse and keyboard at Radio Shack (under $20 for the pair but no command key). I have this _same_ issue, exactly. Initial backup goes just fine, but incremental backups fail. And like you, I replaced the internal drive.
The failures didn't start occuring long after the original drive was replaced--which was about 1 year ago. The new drive was non-Apple and worked fine--and tests fine now as well when outside the TC. But suddenly incremental backups started failing when the TC firmware and utility app were updated about 2-3 months ago. I even swapped the internal non-Apple drive for another known-working non-Apple drive, and same results.
I strongly suspect Apple added something to the firmware to check if it's an Apple or non-Apple drive in the TC and, if the latter, maybe causes incremental backups to fail. This is only speculation and, obviously, the initial backup still works, so any checksum like this would have to be only during the incremental backup process.
I'll be checking into this thred to see if others have the same issue, or if a solution is found. Hopefully my hypothesis is just para-apple-noia and it's some small, easy-to-fix issue.

During the whole day, when i'm on the main menu of my iphone the little white "wheel" is running over and over. Just never stops. But when i go in an app, it immediatly disapears...It looks like i'm downloading something but nothing is allowed to run on backyard on my settings and nothing is updating...
Someone has an explanation? Sorry for my english I'm a french guy!

When that stops and you see a root#: prompt enter
*fsck -fy*
Let it run through all the checks and repairs.
If it fails first time, at any time, or finds and fixes a fault - run the command again and keep doing so (some fixes can take several passes) until it says "Appears to be OK" then enter
reboot

IPod "Do not disconnect" message never stops

I get an error message (The iPod "Tubby's iPod" cannot be ejected because it contains files that are in use by another application) when trying to eject my iPod from iTunes and computer. The iPod never appears to be finished with updating even though iTunes software states that the update is complete (“Do not disconnect” message never stops flashing on iPod).

ICloud mail never stops trying to get new mail

Running 10.7.2 on my MacBook Air, the whirling symbol indicates that the iCloud account never stops looking for new mail. Other accounts do not do this. This does not occur on my MacPro, my I pad or my iphone, either. Is there anything I can do to stop this?
