Update my os x 10.8 version
i whant to update the i photo and my computer write something like this- "Photo can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because OS X version 10.8.2 or later is required. You can update OS X from the Updates page of the App Store".and in the update page,i saw only the i photo!!,how can i update my os x version later than 10.8?? thanks

Every time I update LR to a new version I seem to need a patch to make it work..... once again here I am SOS! I've just update LR to the 5.7 version and It wont let me start it: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).
Your system is missing a couple DLLs that LR needs, but the fix at Adobe is to copy them to the LR folder which gets replaced for each install, so you have to redo it after each LR install. It would be worth documenting the process and saving the DLLs so you don’t have to ask about it each time:

You might also use the AIO210 program to add them as detailed in this YouTube video—maybe this is a more permanent fix, but since the files are from media-fire be very careful about what you do so as not to install a virus on your computer.
I’d scan the downloaded ZIP you download with whatever virus and internet security software you have and don’t be fooled by extraneous popups you might see during the download process. I was able to download the aio210.zip after authorizing one Captcha window and closed at least one bogus popup trying to get me to install other software. How do I get my iTunes store to work? I have updated my iTunes to the latest version but every time I go to open it, it is just a blank white screen. No writing or anything. Help!?

I was recently prompted to update my Itunes player to the latest version. I'm using Windows Vista. I was left with an error message MSVCR80.dll and consequently no new update. I uninstalled the old version and have tried to reinstall manually several times. No luck. Consequently I have no player.

Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)

Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I am having difficulty in updating my iphone 3GS software from version 4.1 to version 5.1. I tried using my phone but cannot find the update software button even when I have gone through the right process by tapping SETTING, then GENERAL, yet could not find Update Software button. I mean the update Software button is not seen there.
I tried using itunes, yet no way. Each time I connect my iphone to my laptop itunes software comes up automatically and alerts me that a newer version of software for my iphone is available, It usually gives me the option of Download & Install or Download Only. Whenever I connect my iphone 3GS to my PC through a USB. My itunes software comes up automatically.
1. After that a message appears from the itunes that states that 'itunes could not connect to the itunes store, an unknown error cccured (306).
2. After the above, an alert message comes up which states that A new iphone software version 5.1 is availlable for my iphone. It then states would you like to download it and update your iphone now? With the options buttons as Cancel or Download and Update or Download Only. I accepted a recent update for iTunes and now my version of Spin Doctor can't communicate with iTunes, specifically, I can't get music files to go over to iTunes. Spin Doctor gives me a message indicating that iTunes isn't working properly.
I am using iTunes 9.1.1(12) and Spin Doctor 3.1.1.304t. I have investigated upgrading the Spin Doctor but I think too much time has passed and the version available are too far advanced.
Any ideas? Can I undo the iTunes upgrade? Is there a website that I can go to to get the upgrade for my Spin Doctor?

MaryIf your iMac is an Intel CPU model, you can upgrade the OS to OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
Then use software update to update 10.6 Snow Leopard to OS X 10,6.8.
Then you can run the latest iTunes to sync your iPad running iOS 6

I had updated Firefox after it kept popping up to do so, but in the process my Skype extension is now disabled and it says that Firefox can't find one that is compatible and I need to have my Skpe on here. Is there a way I can go back to the older version of Firefox I had before I updated to this new 5.0 version? When I had the previous one my Skype still was working. Thanks a lot!

I just updated to Adobe Reader 11.0.07 on my Mac OS version 10.6.8 and now the video files don't work. How do I uninstall the update and return to the previous version?

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
(Assuming that the QuickTime and Safari messages were also citing bonjour64.msi, you should also then be good to go with those installs too.)
