Update notifications from OneNote 2010 Sync

Question

12 people are using OneNote 2010 on a network.
These 12 people have 1 shared, main, departmental notebook but also, each has his/her own personal, notebook.
If someone adds a new page to the main, shared department notebook, how do the other people know that something new was added and where it was added? Is there some way for people to get a notification at the bottom of their screen "OneNote has updated
Notebook A - Section 4 - added new page" "Click here to view this update"?
Otherwise, this is double the work. And e-mail notification has to be sent out letting everyone know there was a OneNote update? And then from the e-mail, users must figure out where the update is in OneNote? The entire point is that we don't want to send
out the e-mails to begin with. So how could we do this?

Nevermind - figured it out!
However - to share with anyone who wants this answer!!!!
Page 8 of the guide tells you
When users open a shared notebook, recent changes made by other
users are automatically highlighted, so that
users easily stay on top of what’s new.
OneNote also adds the initials of the
user who made each change so that
other users can quickly see who wrote what. Point to the author initials for a ScreenTip showing the author’s full user name and the time of the edit.
Quick Tip:
On the
Share
tab, in the Shared Notebook
group, click Recent Edits
and then select a time
period (available time periods range from today to the past 6 months).
Users can also mark any text as unread for ease of review. To do this, just press CTRL+Q.
Though frankly I think a great addition to the program would be an actual Pop up update  at the bottom corner of a screen
