Update of SU24 Data in RAR - Permission objects does not appear in Funct
Hi All,
We are using SP9 of RAR 5.3. We have developed custom objects for many custom transacitons and hence wanted to update the same in GRC for permission level configuration.
We extracted the latest SU24 text files and uploaded as per the procedure mentioned in the post installation guide. The text files got uploaded successfully and also the full synch of User, role and profile background job was successful.
But still the permission + tab is appearing blank for the custom t-codes without pulling any authorization objects. Due to which we are unable to enable the permission objects to the t-codes.
We have uploaded the SU24 data separately to 2 different physical systems of Dev & Quality. Whereas the rule set is defined for Logical system of Dev & Quality.
Did we missed any step in the process of uploading the text files?
Please advise.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Srihari.K
If you have configured RAR to include logical systems you need to generate the rules from the configuration tab, Rule Upload, Generate Rules. Generating rules from the Rule Architect is very inconsistant if you are using logical systems.

Smart object does not appear at specified time in slide.
Here's my issue: When I insert a speech bubble into the slide, set it to appear after 5.0 seconds and the display for the rest of the slide, it does not appear at the specified time. HOWEVER, if I move the speech bubble to appear at the very START of the slide, then it appears. I thought perhaps I needed to add an effect to make it work, so I selected the thought bubble, then added a "fly in" effect and set the time. It still won't appear at a specified time--only if I put it at the start of the slide.
Here's my question: Why won't the smart object (speech bubble) appear at a specified time, but it WILL appear if I set the "appear after" time to 0 seconds? I also have tried moving this on the timeline, and it still only shows at the start of the slide.
Many thanks for any help.Previewed in browser and in normal preview mode. (Just clicking "preview from this slide).
Normal project -- not responsive.
And..I'm not worried. No need for wine. (Although I've never been known to refuse one if someone offers. )
Screenshots below. As you can see, the image is not set sa a button.
And, yes: I know there is a spelling error in the thought bubble. Just trying to get it to work first.
I think there may be a bug in the system, as I have noticed other weird things. (EG: The time indicators under "timeline" often disappear for no reason. I have to close out and re-lauch Captivate to get it back. (Clicking on "timeline" in Windows dropdown does nothing to correct the issue. Other things I've noticed is that the navigation works fine when I play the whole project through ONCE, but upon a second preview, all settings -- such as "jump to slide __" -- do not stick. When I go back in and re-enter all of the navigation slide commands, the same thing happens when I replay it. My client notices the same thing. Bizarre.) -

After updating my iPhone 4S to IOS6 my iPhone does not appear in iTunes.
After I updated my iPhone 4S to IOS6, I experienced the following issues.
1. My iPhone would not connect to WIFI, even though the WIFI icon on my iPhone indicated that it was. This in it self cost me $239.00 in excess data usage. I have since got the WIFI working by resetting my iPhone.
2. Since I have fixed the WIFI issues, I can not connect to iTunes to restore from backup. My iPhone does not show up in iTunes either via USB or WIFI.
So my iPhone has non of my music, photo's, apps or settings.
So if anyone has a solution to my issues please let me know.
Cheers.

Export data File Browse dialog box does not appear
I am trying to export data to CSV and when I click on Browse to locate proper directory, nothing happens (the dialog doesn't show up).
I normally right-click on any cell in "Result" TAB, choose Export->CSV.
On the same note CSV format is a workaround to get to Excel. Is there an extension or option to save directly in Excel format. This would avoid having the client to open the file in Excel and then do a Save As with the proper XLS format instead of CSV.
Using Win XP client connecting to 10.2 database. Using latest SQL Developer version (downloaded on Friday may 5th version 1.0.0.15.27).
Thanks
Robert

user509017I haven't seen the browse button problem that you describe. Is it still occurring? On all exports? There have been issues with export rerunning the query a few times which makes the application appear to lock up. Could that be the issue?
There is an excel add-in. I assume that it isn't included for licensing issues, but it comes from one of the core developers of this app.

KKBC_HOE Summarized object does not exist:
I've set up a new Hierarchy for CO Summarization using KKR0.
Before doing that I created a new status profile with BS42
In the Hierarchy I've liinked the status profile which tells the hierarchy to only summarize DLV - Delivered orders.
After executing KKRC I attempt to run KKBC_HOE and I get the following error:
Summarized object does not exist: CO ZDLV
Message no. KN 020
Diagnosis
You have not carried out summarization for this order hierarchy or cost object hierarchy. For this reason it is not possible to display any information on node CO ZDLV .
Procedure
Carry out order summarization or cost object summarization. Then call up the function again.
I've tired re-running KKRC a couple times but I still get this error. When I review ZDLV configuration the "summarized" box is checked.
Does anyone have any ideas why I am getting this error.
DanWe are on 4.6C and have not been keeping it up to date. We are something like 30 update packets behind. I started with this company back in Novemeber. As a result I think some weird things happen to us because the system isnot up to date. after the first month of using the new hierarchy now when I run KKRC and KKRV I am able to execute KKBC_HOE. All is right with the world, well for this problem anyway.
Take care,
Dan

I have a 8 node cluster with Hyper-V, which will be 10 nodes when it's finally done.
Recently I've been try to add nodes and though that went fine, after about a week I could not open the Failover Cluster Manager anymore.
After some checking I found out that the latest added node was giving problems.
VM's on the node still run and function properly, but most Powershell commands result in a "The requested object does not exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010114)".
I can suspend the node with Suspend-ClusterNode, but draining roles was unsuccesful in one case.
In the other there were no VM's on the node so suspending went fine.
What I did find out was that when I tried to ping the node from another, proper functioning node, it took a while before the pinging started. It felt like the interface had to come back online on the problem node.
After that, I could add the cluster to the Failover Cluster Manager. However, Powershell commands still give a 0x80010114 error or a CIM error for when I use Get-NetAdapter.
A reboot resolves the problem, but only for about a week.
I know there is a topic with the same title already, but the wbemtest en rollup update "answer" is totally unclear to me why I should change something with wbemtest, or why to install updates that to me have nothing to do with this problem.
Before I did the ping test from a functioning node I pinged my DC and another node from the problem node just fine.
No waiting at all.
The cluster has three networks. Management (host only), Live Migration and iSCSI (also a VMSwitch for certain VM's).
I have no idea where to look. Evenviewer doesn't give me anything I can work with that I can find...Hi,

Object does not exist : MESSAGE OL 826 - Production issue
R/3 release 4.6C
Transaction: FB03
Custom WF: Triggering events: FIPP-CREATE and FIPP-COMPLETED
When we try to post a document (journal) the workflow gets triggered and reaches the approver. The approver approves it and then it gets posted.
Here in this case, after the approval the workflow running into error with u201Cmessage OL 826 Object does not existu201D
When I click on the message I get this information
Object does not exist : Message no. OL 826
Diagnosis : You tried to create an instance of the object type EMPLOYEET with the
key 1234520080603. No instance of this kind exists.
PERNR u2013 12345
Date - 03.06.2008
I checked this using the FM P_EMPLOYEE_CHECKEXISTENCE and it is working fine there. This FM is used in EMPLOYEET object for existence check.
Initially I thought the problem was with document and the buffer but after checking u201Cdiagnosisu201D message, it confirms me that this is related to Employee.
This is happening only to one employee and all other have NO issues.
I have checked with HR team and they reckon everything is fine from their side.
Since this is in Prod I am unable to debug and test.
I was looking into the previous forums to find the solution but couldnu2019t find RIGHT one. Could you please suggest any solution for this ?
Your help greatly appreciated.

Edited by: SAP User on Jun 12, 2008 12:13 PMDear Mike/Martin,
Could you please explain a bit about the authorization problem?
PERNR A, B, C, and D do the posting the docs through FB01 and PERNR X usually do the approvals. the problem is happening onlyl with PERNR A ... if the approver has the auth problem then it could be same issue with other... please correct me if I am wrong.
As Martin suggested I have contacted HR team but they say .... they dont see anything different or changes for this EMP. The personal record is coming from the EVENT FIPP-CREATE or COMPLETED so there is no manual interaction.
Just guessing: if this is the problem for all the employees then what could be the reason ? guessing that in random it is happening to this emp. He has posted 6 docs....all of them have the same issue. I checked last 3 months records and I did see Couple of workflows in last 3 months with the same error.... so just thinking if this is the problem with all emp happens onlly ramdomly.
Thoughts ??

"ORA-21700: object does not exist or is marked for delete" select from ADT
Posted this in OLAP section as well, but since this is Object technology, I thought I would repeat it here. Sorry about the duplication.
BTW, I'm using Oracle9i 9.2.0.4.1.
I'm trying to create a script that can automate the process of generating abstract data types for use in an OLAP_TABLE function. I'm following the examples in the documentation. Everything runs great the FIRST time I run my script, but when I drop my types and re-create them, when I run the next SELECT statement against the OLAP_TABLE function, I get:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-21700: object does not exist or is marked for delete
My script drops the ADTs before creating, but somehow they are not REALLY being dropped.
SET ECHO ON
SET SERVEROUT ON
DROP TYPE ts_table_6;
DROP TYPE ts_row6;
CREATE TYPE ts_row6 AS OBJECT(
CONJ2002 VARCHAR2(400),
CONJ2002_DATA number(16),
PERIOD VARCHAR2(10),
PERIOD_NAME VARCHAR2(20));
CREATE TYPE ts_table_6 AS TABLE OF ts_row6;
SELECT CONJ2002, period, period_name, conj2002_data FROM TABLE(OLAP_TABLE(
'REFVLMTA DURATION QUERY',
'ts_table_6',
'limit CONJ2002 to first 3',
'MEASURE CONJ2002_DATA from CONJ2002.DATA
DIMENSION CONJ2002 from CONJ2002
DIMENSION PERIOD from PERIOD WITH
ATTRIBUTE PERIOD_NAME from period.name'));
Again, it works the first time, but not the second time. I need to bump up the ADT names to ts_row7 and ts_table_7. SQL Plus says the types are being dropped.
Any ideas?

Hello,
I've installed XE 10.2 under Fedora Core 7 from the downloaded .rpm. The RPM installs fine, and I've run the config from the command line. I've edited my bash file to load the environment variables. Here's my hosts file:

Object does not instances correctly
Hi!
I have this problem reading data objects: when I execute a query, the response object does not contains all the data in database, just the primary key...
anybody knows why?
Thanks in advanceOk, is a problem between TopLink and JUnit modules... it seems to destroy caches (or something like that), so the data is not retrieved correctly. I don't know how fix it yet, but I'm in the path... ;)

Ps CC 2014 is not working correctly after mac update to Yosemite 10.10.1. Select does not protect unselected areas. Magic eraser erases unselected ares.
Yes my particular issue is not like yours. However, there have been many other laptop users experiencing similar problem to yours after 3.10 kernel. Mostly it seems to be bumblebee users that experience your problem with the blank screen. We do know that nvidia have yet to make their official drivers work with kernel 3.10 and up. The drivers in the Arch repository have been patched to work with 3.10. From what I have seen, this also only seem to be affecting laptops with newer nvidia gpu's. I fear there is not much to do with this problem until nvidia give official 3.10 kernel support.
My suggestion would be to stick with 3.9.9 kernel and the drivers that work with it, and don't upgrade those packages until nvidia has addressed these issues. If you have a look at the nvidia forums you will see quite a number of topics mentioning black screen when starting x on 3.10 kernel, and also a thread for the system dying. Reading some of the threads there may help you keep up to date on whether or not the issue seem to be solved.

11g SOA Composite Rules Error - Rule session pool object does not exist
Hi all,
I'm hoping someone has experienced this and found a way through it. We're looking at exposing Oracle Rules DecisionFunctions via the automagically created web services in JDeveloper. We've tried several Rules examples, including the OrderApproval one available online, and are getting errors everytime we try and test the web service.
Firstly we get this error:

Has anyone had any luck actually getting this to work? If so, how? It simply seems like this particular aspect of the product is broken!
Your help would be VERY much appreciated!
Regards,
RhianHi SR,
Thanks for your response. I attempted what you've suggested (1=1 - asset new fact in output), however nothing has changed.
This is occurring across several Composite Rules projects, including the Oracle provided Chapter 5 Order Approval example. Unless someone can suggest a solution to this issues, it looks like we're going to have to shelf our plans to utilize the Business Rules component via the composite service.
Very frustrating couple of days, that's for sure! :{

CS does not appear for Track Data in CMS- Sneak Preview
Hello All,
i want to create Software Component in CMS and define it in Track Data. Ive created SC like described on:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/da/f812d366aa44ad83a30418b34dae1c/frameset.htm
but SC does not appear, when i try to add it under Track Data in CMS.
Anyone knows where the probblem could be and what to check?
Thanks for responds!
KarolHi Karol,
After you create the SC you may have to Update the CMS so that it fetch the latest data from SLD. Just try using the Update CMS button and see if you are still not able to get the SC in the track.
