Update on OS Yosemite Beta keeps on coming with every time i install updates
I got a developer licence for iOS and i had OS Yosemite as a developer Preview. Few months back i got a update of 1.19 GB and i updated it . As soon as i updated my mac what happened is it again show me a update of 1.19 GB and it happens every time i download the update. It never stop showing me the updates and everytime i have to update the software as it shows me as not downloaded updates

I installed LION on my mac pro 2008 and it's alway's pop with " there was a problem connecting to the server " Time Capsule" .How can i remove this popup. My Time machine is working fine and also rename it with less than 7 karakters. But the popup keeps on coming with the old name.
I have a BT Infinity router plugged into the Time Capsule, not sure where the radio settings are?
They are able to use the network settings of the TC i.e. they can connect to the internet via the wifi through the TC but when they try and connect to the AirPort Disk this is where it is not allowing a connection.
I don;t have the drive shared out at all at the moment, is this necessary? How do I do this if so?

An alert keeps coming back every time I'm not connected to a wifi network. It makes the computer almost impossible to use during a client presentation. Can I turn it off?
Tap Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Turn Passcode Off

Simply reset your profile settings (delete and create new) by following the intructions in the [[Managing profiles|managing profiles]] support article and perhaps [[How to clear the cache|clear your cache]]. This should normally and hopefully set you up!

This is driving me insane.
I have uprgraded to yosemite all good but iphoto crashes every time I attempt to upgrade the photo library:-
I have upgraded to yosemite 3 times in case thats where there problem was - no.
I removed and reinstalled the new iphoto program about 5 times - no avail.
I have installed iphoto library upgrader but it says that my library does not need it.
I have installed iphoto9.1 update but it states that it cannot be installed on the disc as iphoto 9.0 or later must be installed but i have installed the latest version?
I have even upgraded the server and i paid for this.
When i open iphoto in applications it will open then state that i need to upgrade the library - i am happy to do this.
I agree to this then iphoto crashes and closes before doing anything else.
I have also tried holding the option button and opening iphoto but it crashes all the same.
I am at a loss what to do. I could not access my library at all but i managed to find all my pics in finder so i have backed everything up and deleted all the files in the hope this would fix it - nope. Still the same.
Does anyone have any suggestions?? Please oh please, this has taken days and countless wifi hours...
TIA...Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. -
I keep receiving this error every time I open LR, "Lightroom encountered and error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit" and the app won't open. It said LR would try and fix this error next time I opened it but the error remains. I tried uninstalled and installing the app and the error remains. I have windows 8. Can anyone please help???
Use Windows Explorer to open the folder containing your catalog. The normal location is Pictures\Lightroom. Locate a folder with the extension .lrdata and delete that folder. Then you should be able to start Lightroom again, and Lightroom will begin building and new previews folder. Do not delete anything else.

You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:

In Mail Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviours there are options for deleting junk mail. Try setting it to "Delete junk messages when quitting mail."

The server 192-----etc. at WRT54GS requires a user-name and password.

Then it asks for a user-name and password. What password!?!!!?!? WHAT USERNAME!??!??!?.......if anyone can help i would appreciate it.the router password is admin by default. Leave the username blank. But for this issue you may check the security setting of your internet options. Disable it from there.
