Update OS X and software without users having corporate apple ID

So the app store has thrown our IT office a big mess. We have final cut, and the general iphoto, OS X and some other pieces of software we've purchased that have had to be bought through the app store, that are tied to our corporate apple ID. We can install these on the user machines by signing in with this apple ID, but then in order to install updates the user needs that apple ID, and we're not really wanting to hand out our credentials since someone could just purchase stuff on the corporate account that way.
There has to be a way for corporations to buy software from apple and have it updated without having to hand over corporate credentials to users, right? I mean, they wouldn't seriously be that incompetent when designing this that they would leave out corporate purchases entirely.
So, what's the apple approved way of handing out licenses to users, cause so far we haven't found an efficient way of doing this.

For information about the Other category in the Storage display, see this support article. If the display seems to be inaccurate, try rebuilding the Spotlight index.
Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash first:
iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
In Photos:
File ▹ Show Recently Deleted ▹ Delete All
Do the same in other applications, such as Aperture, that have an internal Trash feature. Then restart the computer. That will temporarily free up some space.
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation—not the mythical 10%, 15%, or any other percentage. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of the data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.

You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) or GrandPerspective (GP) to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one. Note that ODS only works with OS X 10.8 or later. If you're running an older OS version, use GP.
Deleting files inside a photo or iTunes library will corrupt the library. Changes to such a library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS or GP can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
Install the app in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the corresponding line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. You'll be prompted for your login password.
The application window will open behind other open windows. When you scan a volume, the window will eventually show all files in all folders, sorted by size. It may take a few minutes for the app to finish scanning.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with the app, quit it and also quit Terminal.

You need to do as provided. If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

Send email without user having to press send

Hello
I am new to Captivate and was wondering if there was a way to
send an email without the user having any input; specifically I
want to send the results of a quiz to an email account of my
choosing without the user having to press send, so this requires a
bit more than a mailto. In Flash I would achieve this by getting
the info into Javascript and then using PHP to send the email. I am
sure that this would work for Captivate too, but I was wondering if
there is any nifty inbuild way to do this?

If you have a subscription to Adobe PDF Pack or Adobe SendNow, you can share, send, and track PDF files using the Send feature. It would allow you to send the PDF file to your recipients without you having to worry about formatting being lost (of course, your recipients will need the free Adobe Reader to preview the PDF). This feature is also available from within Acrobat and Reader if you have a subscription.
The other option is to simply attach the PDF using whatever email client you have.

When I go to sync my iphone 3gs itunes alerts me that an update is available. I check to download an update. I then receive an error message stating that I am not connected to the internet. I am 100% positive that I am connected and before this download I was instructed to update itunes which I did without any problems and restarted my computer. I have tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions. I have no problem syncing or using the itunes store. I just can't get the update. I also have no problems with my iphone connecting to a wireless internet connection. Please Help!!!!!!

Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message.

After Maverick was installed, updates on IPHOTO and others won't work because Apple ID is already used.

I installed update on my IMAC for new Maverick OS X 10.9.2
It will not allow the update on a few Apps, such as IPhotos, it says Apple ID is already in use.
1. What is the problem here
2. What am I supposed to do about fixing it?

Have you tried signing out of the App Store and then back in with the Apple ID and password that you used to purchase the iMac?

Go to 'Settings' and 'Store' and then click on the 'Apple ID' and sign out and back in with your correct one.

Try rebooting the device by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and you see the apple logo again. It should take about 10-15seconds to reboot.

You should only update your BIOS, if there is specific feature that has been added or fixed that you need support for. Flashing the BIOS is risky and should only be done when absolutely necessary.
As far as the drivers are concerned, update them if they fix an issue you are experiencing or provide a new feature you want/need. Updating driver is much less less risky and easier to fix if needed.

How to insert Captivate 8 Demo into RH 10 without users having to scroll to view content? i.e. can I

I am building RH10 Web Help that primarily consists of Captivate 8 Demos. I recorded a 900px x 700px region with my monitor set to 1024x700.
When I insert the demo into an RH 10 topic and specify that the display window for the demo should be 900x731 (extra height to allow for space needed by Captivate play bar) the viewer has to scroll the window to see entire contents if their screen resolution is less than 1200x780.
Scrolling bad.
How can I make the Captivate demo auto-size so that it fits in the 900x731 window I gave it WITHOUT any need for user to scroll.

The skin of the help itself also takes some space. You can minimize or
hide the skin.
My preference is to insert a placeholder image that opens the actual
