Update over air for n82

Hi
Did any1 try updation N82 over the air?
Does any1 know the settings for it. I guess u need a server Profile for it...

No over the air updates have ever been released for the N82 or any other FP1 model.
It's a good feature that was sadly never used.

Problem in 5300 Phone Update over air

Hi friends,
I own nokia 5300 and tried to update my phone's software version over air. I tried to SETTINGS->PHONE->PHONE UPDATES->DOWNLOAD PHONE SOFTWARE..I got a message saying that "No settings Found. Contact your service provider". Then i read the user guide of 5300..It says i should change the setting in SETTING->CONFIGURATION->DEFAULT MANAGEMENT SETTING...But i could not find any setting in configuration setting..Moreover my phone's internet setting is activated and im surfing all the websites too..Can help me what should i do...

FOTA is a fairly new feature and to be honest it doesn't work very well. Some networks also block this feature for some strange reason.
You can still update using a PC & data cable or by visiting a nokia care point.
If your phone is working fine and you are happy with it then I suggest that you do not update it. Some recent updates have caused more problems than they have solved.

Update Failed: AIR for Apple iOS support

While Updating my Flash Builder 4.5 to 4.5.1, and 2 other updates, one being the AIR for Apple iOS support.
When I try installing the update for the iOS support, I get the message: Update is not applicable. Error Code: U44M1P28

Trying to figure out another solution, I uninstalled Flash Builder 4.5 Premium, to install a new full version of 4.5.1 from Adobe's website.
While Installing, I get the following message which showed me exactly where my problem is... I have a prereleased version of AIR for Apple iOS Support.
The Question is... How do I uninstall the prerelease version of AIR for Apple iOS Support? I uninstalled FB4.5, and I removed the remaining folder after installation that was in Flash Builder 4.5 that was in Utilities. though, I still get the message above...
Any idea on how to Uninstall a Prerelease version of AIR for Apple iOS Support?! No where to be found online.

Firmware over the Air for N82 ?

Does the N82 support Fimrware over the Air?
If it does not, what other ways do I have to upgrade firmware besides using Windows software like the PC Suite?

How can I use a file in flash cs6 that I made in flash cs5.5 air for android

I have made an app in in air for android in flash cs5.5 air for android, and I want to edit it in cs6 and play it in cs6.
But if I put Ctrl+Enter I got an error: createWin process failed with error 2: system couldn't find the file. I think the problem is that I'am using air for android 2.6 version in flash cs5.5 and version 3.2 in flash cs6. I have searched the web and found out that you can add older air versions using the sdk manager and I have tried it but first I get the error that the version of the sdk I am trying to install is not valid and after some files that I added to the sdk folder I get this error:Only SDK higher than version 3.4.2540 may be added.
I there a possible way to update the air for android for an fla or apk? Or how can I let my originally file work fine in flash cs6??

If you can´t get a more specific hint why your project can´t compile then I can think of some reasons theis error might occur
1.You had files included besides the swf, like videos, audio files, xml files, that are not present in the place air expects them to be
2.somewhere in your createWin functions there is a class import needed that isn`t present in 3.2 anymore, for example some classes or functions from classes that were valid in 2.6 are not any more in 3.2
3. to achieve better eror logging, allow for debugging in the publishing options and see what specific lines in your code throw the error
4.any air app needs a cert file, this needs to be created once, if you migrated to e new system it might be you never created that file which air expects to even begin the compiling process
once you isolate the problem, report back

Why did Adobe stop the support in Air for iOS?

Today Adobe said that he stop with the developing for iOS,
It`s mean that he will NOT update the AIR for iOS for newer iOS (like iOS 5).
I paid many money for a Flash`s license and AppStore`s member!
What sould I do now?

What was talked about today is the development of the Flash Player for mobile browsers, that will end after the next version is released. iOS is not affected by that, because Flash didn't work in Safari on iOS anyway.
Adobe did talk about how they were going to do more with AIR mobile apps, so if anything today's announcements is good news for AIR for iOS.

Cant update over the air in third generation ipad

You are in Recovery Mode. Follow the instructions below to recover your iPad.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

Adobe Updater stuck on AIR for an hour??

I ran Adobe Updater, as I just re-installed CS3. It downloaded everything fine, but it's been just sitting there at Installing AIR for Flash 9.0.3 for over an hour...? What should I do?

When I've had to reinstall CS3 on a couple computers, I noticed that that takes a very long time. I'd just let it run. You're probably on a slower computer. It should eventually install.

The most recent update for Adobe AIR for Android is failing on multiple users. Reading the reviews, I am having the same problem with running the update. Update runs, then stops and won't update? Why bother coming out with an update THAT WON'T LET YOU UPDATE AIR???????

The App Store version sometimes gives problems. As you can't install 10.8.4 from the App Store, download and install the Combo edition > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1659?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US This edition will work and will update OS X to the most recent version, in that case, 10.8.4

Air 1.5 update breaks Air apps for Linux

The beta version of Air worked fine, but after updating to
Air 1.5, apps will no longer run or install. The installer says the

Did Nokia stopped its support for N82 after 35.0.002 ?

Regarding to further updates I would think that they have stopped supporting it, yes, but Nokia keeps their playcards close to their chest so I don't know for sure.
The device has been out for a quite a while and recieved quite a few updates. Nokia is most likley focusing on their new line of handsets e.g. s^3 and upcoming anna handsets together with newer lowends. The N82 along with other series 60 5th and 3rd editions lacks proper hardware for new fancy stuff, so as unlikely as I find it, if Nokia chooses to support it with another update it will most likely be a few bug fixes. - But then again, I don't think there will be.
What you could try is to contact nokia directly and see if you can get any sensible information about this. Most likely their first line support will either not respond or tell you that they don't know, but it's worth a shot.

Perform a hard reboot
Hold down the Home button and Power button on your iPhone or iPad and keep holding them until you see the Apple logo. Once you do, you can let go. When your device boots back up, go ahead and check to see if the apps have started re-downloading. If they still appear to be stuck, continue on.

If you go to http://www.nokia.co.uk/softwareupdate and try to update over the air, it gives you the instruction to do the next:
To Backup to your Memory card:
1.select Tools > Memory fron the main menu
2.select Options > Backup phone mem.
Well, i don't have those options in my Nokia 6131...
