Update R/3 from BW data

Hello,
We are running productivity reports on BW. Productivity reports mean productivity of the workers in the warehouse(WM module) based from picking, TO confirmations..... Based on these reports, we calculate bonus for each workers.
My question is: is there a way when we run the report, to have a pushbutton in order to update the R/3 HR module with the bonus calculated ? Or an other solution, to run a program on the R/3 that reads the BW data and update the HR modules ?

For cost center, the value table is CSKS (Cost Center Master Data).
For PO data, which is related to Cost center data, you can refer to the tables EKBN

Simple creation of Update Rule from BW Data Source

Hi guys,
 Pertaining standard SAP Business Content extractors
 I am referring to InfoCube : 0PA_C01(Headcount and Personnel Actions)
 I am attempting to create an Update Rule from Info Source : 0HR_PA_PA_1(Headcount)
 This Info Source : 0HR_PA_PA_1(Headcount) is connected to BW Data Source(Not R/3!) 0HR_PA_PA_1
 I have created an Info Package for this Info Source and managed to get 15 records{In Contrast to my 68800 Records from Info Source : 0HR_PA_0(Employee)}
 So, when I create an Update Rule to Connect Info Cube: 0PA_C01(Headcount and Personnel Actions) to Info Source to Info Source : 0HR_PA_PA_1(Headcount), I get the following error
ERROR : IC=0PA_C01 IS=0HR_PA_PA_1 error when checking the update rules
Could you please also advice, why do I only get 15 records for Data Source 0HR_PA_PA_1 ?
P/S : I am on BW 3.5

 This Data Source: 0HR_PA_PA_1(Headcount) is tricky to me because it`s a BW Data Source.
 Exact Error Message is as follows :-
"Error Message : RSAU461
 IC=0PA_C01 IS=0HR_PA_PA_1 error when checking the update rules "
 My Exact Problem is that I don`t see any values for the following fields in my Info Cube : 0PA_C01(Headcount and Personnel Actions)
Country;
Country Code;
Gender;
Nationality;
Language;
Postal Code;
Region;
Position;
Job;
Payroll Area;
Payroll Group;
Pay Scale's;
Pay Grade's
This is because, this information is supplied by InfoSource : 0HR_PA_PA_1
But I don`t have an Update Rule for this InfoSource in my InfoCube : 0PA_C01
So, that's why I am attempting to create this additional Update Rule
 And also, could someone enlighten me why would SAP not include such a standard Update Rule when they have already idenfied those needed fields in a Cube ? This is suppose to be a STANDARD workable Business Content right ?

Update 0funct_loc from 2 data source

Dear all,
i am filling 0funct_loc from 2 data source, one is 0funct_loc_attr, and the other is 1cl** from characteristics data source.
My problem is both data sources work fine, however after uploading 0funct_loc, and try to upload run1cl**, it finds records but does not update specific fields of 0funct_loc as that funct_loc exists.
My data flow is 2 data sources(0funct_loc_attr, and the other is 1cl** ) in the bottom, one info source joining that and update rule to 0funct_loc.
Any help?

Hi John,
What are you trying to do here? In case each datasource will deliver different data (characteristics) of the function location, I would suggest to create two infosources (one for each datasource) and update the available characteristics.
In the monitor of the function location, you will still see that no records have been added, but still the attributes that are solely delivered by one datasource should be updated in that case.

No, it doesn't store a clone. You would have needed to make one with either SuperDuper or CarbonCopy Cloner.
If the files were in your ~/Library folder then they may still be there. As I said, you can access it by
going to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library". I wouldn't think an upgrade would overwrite anything in ~/Library.
If you have a Time Machine backup you may also be able to use that to retrieve them.

Delivery date from PO not updated with inbound delivery (EDI) date

Dear all,
The delivery date in the purchase order (as per my understanding) is the purchase order creation date + the planned delivery time.
We are using EDI and an inbound delivery gets created when the shipping notification is received from the vendor.
The real inbound delivery (EDI) date is usually different from the planned delivery date of the purchase order. But the problem is that the delivery date from the PO is not getting updated with the EDI delivery date.
Is it possible to have the delivery date from the PO updated with the real EDI delivery date?
I need this because I want to calculate planned delivery costs based on the EDI delivery date, and so far when I post the goods receipt (Price Date Category = "Delivery date" in the PO), the system is taking the price valid at the delivery date from the PO instead of taking the price valid at the delivery date of the EDI message.

We have applied the note 793478 "Change of the pricing date in EXIT SAPLEINR 003".
In our process flow, an inbound delivery is created with reference to the PO, then the goods receipt is done with reference to this inbound delivery.
When the option 5 "Goods receipt date" is selected in the Conditions Control tab of the purchase order, now when the goods receipt is posted, the price is calculated based on the inbound delivery date, which is what we wanted.

Details: For example i have two requests Req1 and Req2 in DSO with unique data record setting checked. on day one Req1 has a filed quantity with value 10 in Active data table. On day two Req1 can not be overwitten from ECC with Req2 with the same key fields but different value 20 in the filed quantity because of the Unique data record settings. finally the delta load fails from ECC going to DSO because of this setting. is it right?
I think we can only use unique record setting going from DSO to cube right?
Please give me a simple scenario in which we can use this setting.
I already search the threads and will assign points only to valuable information.

Unique Data Records:
With the Unique Data Records indicator, you determine whether only unique data records are to be updated to the ODS object. This means that you cannot load a data record into the ODS object the key combination for which already exists in the system otherwise a termination occurs. Only use this setting when you are sure that only unique data records are to be loaded into the ODS object (for example, single documents). A typical application of this is in the loading of mass data. It improves the load performance.

Update DSO with planning function independently from saving data in realtim

Dear all,
I have an realtime cube which will be loaded via planning function and/or data entry queries.
In order to track the entries, I store all companies with status in a DSO objects, by using a planning fuction which calls a function module and inserts entries in the DSO table. The planning function will be start by clicking a button in a web application.
For example: A company enters data. The value will be stored in the realtime cube and the DSO entry will be created with company xyz and status 1.
Sometime it is necessary to create a status entry in the DSO without entering data in the realtime cube. ( In order to provide an other department to enter data in during status 1).
In this case the planning function which calls the function module in order to insert entries in DSO is not working because there is no data exchange with the realtime cube.
How can I change DSO entries independently from writing data in a realtime cube or not.

i have one planning function which copies data from one version to another within the cube and another planning function (type fox) which calls up an ABAP function module in order to update my status DSO. see below:

normal way:
User enters data via query and sends data to headquarters (1. planning functions copy from version 1 to 2 and second planning functions changes status in DSO from 1 to 2.) This works.
not normal way, but somethis necessary:
User does not malke any entries, and headquarters wants to change the status via an own web application. In this case the first planning function runs, but no data were copied because there are no entries. So far thats ok, but at least the second pölanning function should run and change the status in the DSO from 1 to 2. And exacltly this is not working. I suppose that the reason is, that there are no data in the cube.
Any ideas would be great.

HELP! Firmware update failed, need to extract data from unreadable iPod

Please HELP! I have important data on my iPod that I need to preserve. Here's what I did:
* downloaded newest iPod software and used the iPod Updater. It assured me the the "Update" process does not touch songs/data on my iPod
* clicked the Update button. The update failed, citing error writting data to disk.
* now my iPod will not boot up (folder icon), on top of that it will not mount even in Disk Mode (claims it's unformatted).
* iPod Updater now offers only the Restore option
I absolutelly NEED to get the data of my iPod if I am to restore it. The data should still be on the disk (even if the firmware is damadged), it's just a matter of gaining access to it.
Any chances?

Sounds like a problem I had with a camera card - and I lost the pictures, and I have yet to restore the camera card - it's still dead, won't even format.
Take it someplace where they specialize in data recovery - for high fees....

Powerpivot Error on Refresh -- "We couldn't get data from the data model..."

I'm using Excel 2013 and Windows 8.1. I have a spreadsheet I've been using for over a year, and I've just started getting this error message when I try to refresh the data.
"We couldn't get data from the Data Model. Here's the error message we got:
The 'attributeRelationship' with 'AttributeID' - 'PuttDistCat9' doesn't exist in the collection"
Any idea how I can fix this problem? I haven't changed anything related to that particular attribute. All the data is contained in separate sheets in the workbook, so there are no external sources of data.

I found a slightly older version of the spreadsheet that still refreshes properly, so I don't think I have any issues with the version of Excel or Power Query. (I've had this same error before, and I believe I applied the hotfix at that time.)
I think this problem started after I updated a number of the date filters in the pivot tables. I haven't made any changes to the data model, and the only updates I've made were to add data (which I do all the time), and to change the date filters on
the pivot tables.
As suggested, I added a new pivot table querying one table (the table with the attribute that shows up in the error message), and it worked fine. I can also refresh this pivot table.
Then I tried adding a pivot table which went against several tables in the data model (including the table in question). The pivot table seemed to return that data properly. However, when I tried to refresh it, I got the same error message ("we
couldn't get data from the data model...").
Dany also suggested running the queries one at a time to see which one is in error. Without checking all the pivot tables, it appears that any which use the table "HolePlayedStrokes" generate the error (this is the table with the attribute
mentioned in the error message). Pivot Tables without that particular table seem to refresh OK. Unfortunately, that is the main table in my data model, so most of the pivot tables use it.
Any other suggestions? I'd be happy to send a copy of the spreadsheet.

Finally, I've found how to "touch" the requierd bits.
Obviously, it's hardcore, but since some stupid at microsoft cannot understand the use of a disconnected recordset in the real world, there is no other choice.

Why can't I update/ download apps from the app store after upgrading to iOS 7.0.3?

I have an iphone 5 and updated my phone to the lastest version (ios 7.0.3) last night. I can't download/ update any apps from the app store using my cellular network. The only error message is that the app cant be downloaded at this time. As soon as I click the download button, the image of the icon shows up with "Waiting" underneath the icon. I tried tapping on the app icon to pause the download but that isn't working. I have disabled Wi-Fi setting and enabled"the use cellular data" option in the itunes and app store setting page. Memory is not an issue because I have a lot of memory available. In the cellular setting page the App Store is enabled to use cellular data. It seems like it is a setting issue. What can be done to fix this problem

Thanks for your suggestion. Not long ago before I saw your response I tried to download the app and I seemed to have some progress (I had 5 bars and 1x). It looked it was 3/4 of the download complete only to have the same error message.

i want to update PRODH field from table T179T into table VBRP. for this we
need to take selection option also.
selection option will be :
· Sales Organization (field VBRK-VKORG)
· Billing Date Range (VBRK-FKDAT)
· Distribution Channel (Vbrk-vtweg
while i have done this for one field by using hard code but like:
TABLES: VBRP.
CLEAR VBRP.
UPDATE VBRP SET PRODH = 'PLC01' WHERE VBELN = '0008300051'.
SELECT SINGLE * FROM VBRP WHERE VBELN = '0008300051'.
WRITE: VBRP-VBELN,VBRP-PRODH.
but this is not the right way. please guide me how to solve this.

commit work.

use commit work after update statement.
But this code would make vbrp-vbeln as plc01 only.
If you want to get the prodh value from t179t, then write a sleect on t179t and then update.
TABLES: VBRP.
CLEAR VBRP.
select single prodh
from t179t
where......
UPDATE VBRP SET PRODH = t179-prodh WHERE VBELN = '0008300051'.
commit work.
SELECT SINGLE * FROM VBRP WHERE VBELN = '0008300051'.
WRITE: VBRP-VBELN,VBRP-PRODH.
