Update Received on Iphone Shipping

Good Morning:  Just wanted to pass on the information I received this morning.  Sure this may not help some however someone posted a telephone number to call if you really wanted to know the status of your order.  That number is 866-388-7390 and it is for Internet Orders as well as returns. 
I expressed my concerns with Shelly the rep who took my call when I contacted this number and explained that I was advised that I should receive a confirmation Tuesday etc.
She was very polite as was I, and explained to me that the deliver by date, is the DATE that the device is to be delivered to the WAREHOUSE.  Once it has been delivered to the warehouse, whatever shipping method was selected will be honored.  In my case, I have a two day shipping method, and shipping does not occur on the weekend therefore I wont receive my device until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week at the latest. 
If this is the case, I am okay with that but a little disappointed as the advertisement for preorders as appearing at your doorstep on the 19th isn't exactly accurate.  What doesn't make sense to me is that some people have received shipping confirmations with delivery dates to their physical location for the 19th but instead of arguing about it, I simply accepted it for early next week and am okay with that. 
In any event, this does explain why I dont have a shipping date/tracking because if the delivery by date to the warehouse is the 19th and today is Tuesday really this information would not be required until Friday.  She also mentioned that the tracking/shipping data is also dependent upon where you are located.  I am on the east coast, in south carolina and have noticed several other customers with the same location code as me 1456901 as experiencing the same issues.
For the sake of my sanity I am going to enjoy the next few days in Iphone 6 plus silence and reconvene this FRIDAY should I not have any data.  I will say that every single person that I have spoken to has confirmed the 19th of September based upon my order time.

we must have talked to the same rep.  Also in South Carolina and have the same order location.  Received my deliver by date as 10/14 on my email confirmation and i know for a fact i was in and out of the Verizon site by 3:04am.(EST.) the rep had said that i will not receive my order status till the 19th.  I didn't ask if i would receive it that day or not, but like other people i agree Verizon or Apple in that matter should have done a little more prep work.  You released a Iphone with a bigger screen, what do they expect? Anyway to get off that topic (other threads for that) just wanted to add to the conversation that I as well have the dreaded "not available at this time" also there is a way with Fedex to search by reference, using you order number and location number (Order#_Location#) (i might have reversed those, sorry) so if you don't have a tracking number yet, at least you can check to see that.  But yes i agree with everyone on this board, it sucks, Verizon and apple messed up, and oh FYI if you pre-ordered you cant cancel your pre-order, so you cant go to the store on the 19th to get a new phone, only way to get around that is to open another line.... ooooohhhhh the agony...

    After accepting the carrier update yesterday my iPhone 5s will not receive emails via my work Exchange system.  I can send emails, but can not receive.  I deleted my account and added it back with the directed provided by our Corporate IT, but I still can't receive emails.  I've hard booted and soft booted my phone several times to no avail.  What else can I do to help remedy this situation?

    I don't have any other email accounts on my phone and I don't get any type of error message.  It just says "Checking for Mail" and I receive nothing, so I know that it is accessing my work email system.  I haven't made any changes to my account.  I only accepted the message to update my carrier system.....I do have an appointment with the local Verizon store to see if they can help.
    Just FYI, my Exchange email account still works on my iPad, so I'm pretty sure the settings are correct.

    I updated my 3GS iphone to 5.0.1 yesterday.  I can make calls and send messages, but cannot recieve calls or messages. I called telstra as I instantly thought network problems.  My friends and family who are also on telstra have not had network issues.  I thought it was strange that this has only occurred after updating my software??  I have restored my phone, reset network settings and still nothing!! Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?

    i have since inserted my sim card into an old phone and then put it back in my 3gs and just received 40+ messages.. not sure why its working now, but it is so I'm happy

    You are in recovery mode. Restore it through iTunes on your computer.

  • Since the last update for my Iphone 4s i dont get text messages when connected to wifi. my wife is getting them. Imessage is switched off on both phones.

    since the 6. version update. of my Iphone 4s My wife was getting my text messages. I found the problem was caused by Imessage when connected to Wifi. I deactivated Imessage on both phones to solve the problem. I now have updated my Iphone to 6.1.1 and i dont get text messages anymore. I have Imessage deactivated on my phone but my wife is getting my text messages again. my wifes phone was not updated to 6.1.1 because the last update lost all her contacts from her phone and we had to but them back in one by one from the outlook list. Her contact are listed in outlook on a seperate list to mine but we can only get my contacts download to her phone. We use the same laptop to sysc phones.
    My Iphone does not download photos to My Pictures anymore. I have to copy them across to a folder. I cant find where it backs them up to.
    I have lost all confidence in Apple now as i was forced to update to 6.1.1 because of 3G reception issues and not reciving calls and now back to spending several hours trying to fix my phone to recieve a basic text message.

    Are you and your wife sharing apple id?
    If you are that is the reason why she is seeing your imessage.
    On both phone go to settings - message - send&receive - make sure the cell is the default.
    You will have to uncheck or remove the apple id.

    Sounds like it's hardware issue. The iPhone warranty is based in the original country of purchase. Since it was bought in Korea you will need to ship the phone to someone you know in Korea to be taken in and then they will have to ship it back to you. The cost of shipping will be at your expense.

    I received an email that my iPhone shipped. The email included a fedex tracking number: <Tracking number removed for privacy per the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service.>
    Today I received the following email:

    How can that be? I get a tracking number then they say it wasn't shipped?

    Your phone is jailbroken/hacked.  You cannot receive assistance on this forum.  Go somewhere else for help.

    I was at AT&T last week asking various questions & one was regarding home delivery. I was told that when you receive your phone you will be given a number to call to accept your contract and you would be ready to sync with your computer. I would imagine you could add all your features then.

    I have tried restoring it to the original settings. I have tried putting in the old AT&T sim card and connecting it to itunes (and then restoring it again). I have tried putting it in airplane mode and turning on the wifi. I have tried turning off/on the 3G capabilities. I have tried jailbraking the phone- although not very successfully as it took it off when I updated the iOS. Currently it is fully updated but continues to say no service in the top corner. When I turn the wifi off and then on for a second it will say searching but then switch back to no service. I have wifi in my house so it should be detecting a signal.
